Spacious 1- bedroom apartment sleeps 4 in vintage home built in 1875, in beautiful Historic Downtown Golden, Colorado. This apartment has its own entrance. It is bright, sunny and very clean. Master bedroom has a queen size bed with pillow top, full bathroom with shower and bathtub, full kitchen, Smart TV's with Direct TV in living room and bedroom, DVD player in living room, WiFi and cable included. Comfortable queen sleeper sofa with extra thick memory foam mattress sleeps two. Sun room to sit in and enjoy a good book. Enclosed patio includes swing, dining set, and gas propane grill which will be kept full by the owner. Within 2 blocks walking distance from Historic Downtown Golden, close to restaurants, parks, breweries, theater, Coors and Colorado School of Mines. Across the street from Clear Creek where you can kayak or tube on those warm Golden days or walk the trails. You will be able to day trip and ski as a resort is only an hour away. Close to all other ski resorts and Red Rocks Amphitheater. Catch the RTD light rail to downtown Denver 15 minutes away to the Rockies, Broncos, Avalanche, Outlaws games, the Theater or the night life. Enjoy a nightcap or a morning coffee under the Colorado sky while planning your new adventure for the day!

Very easy check in and greeted by owner and collected parking permit. Fully equipped, good AC, easy parking. Very comfortable for 2 adults. Didn’t have time to take advantage of patio and grill. Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything in town for walking. Easy to our Red Rocks events and hiking excursions. Will stay again.

We had a great stay in Golden, and really enjoyed our stay. The location was extremely convenient, right across from the visitors center and close to many restaurants. The property was very comfortable, and Betty was a great host!

We had a wonderful time in Golden with our 2 and 5 year old. Super walkable area with fun parks and streams nearby. Miss Betty was super helpful and sweet.

We love this little apartment and have stayed there several times. The location is wonderful! The Clear Creek trail is close by and the town of Golden. Especially fun in the winter with all the Christmas lights in Golden. A blast in the summer with tubing in the creek, running/walking and cycling on the paved trails! Lots of hikes nearby too! House is clean and cute! All time favorite of our's!

The unit was exactly as advertised and you could not ask for a better location to explore downtown Golden. Betty was very pleasant and responsive, accomodating a last minute request for an early check in. She met me at the door and personally gave me a tour. Highly recommend.

I would give six stars if I could. Great space. Had everything two People could need. Walking distance to restaurants and bars Hpeople could need. Stay there if yyouj are in Golden. Perfect location

The space was well kept and perfect for our extended weekend get away. Betty was available to answer any questions and definitely knows how to make her guests comfortable. Very close walking distance to the main areas of Golden. Would absolutely recommend this for a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

This apartment was the perfect location and jump off point for all of our Denver area activities. It’s an adorable apartment within walking distance to all activities in Golden. We will definitely stay here again the next time we’re in town. Betty was friendly and gracious, but some guests may prefer contactless check-in.

This was a great place to stay in the pefect location. The hostess was very attentive and nice. Everything worked in the apartment and all rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. This will be our first choice for stays in Golden.from now on.

My wife and I came to Golden to have quick access to the Rockies, see a concert at Red Rocks (our first) and do some travel and hiking. Betty’s apartment was just what we were looking for! Beautiful, efficient, clean and quaint! A few minutes walk from Golden’s downtown and quick access to RMP in the north and the Mt. Evans/Blue Sky area west of Golden. We would love to stay again in the future. Our all five star ratings is exactly how we feel..thank you for your hospitality Betty!!!

Betty was on site and showed us around. Gave us lots of recommendations and was helpful getting us settled in. Great location just a block or so from the main strip of Golden. Close enough to Denver to get their quickly, but far enough away to enjoy the quaintness of Golden. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this property for a show at Red Rocks. PROs: - Location!!! We really liked the location. We walked to trails, restaurants, bars, to rent and tube on the creek, etc. in Golden. The location would be hard to beat, and and easy Lyft/Uber pickup spot for further away destinations - Host: Betty was very kind and helpful, and clearly very available for any questions or concerns - Outdoor space: There is a nice little back patio that was great for relaxing CONs - Our biggest con was that the home smelled like cat pee - strongly. The overall tidiness/cleanliness of the home seemed fine, and I do remember Betty mentioning the home was 150 years old (or something to that extent) which could have played a part. But it was definitely off-putting, and may pose an issue for someone with allergies (I should mention we did not see any cats while we were there) - Check-in: mild inconvenience, but it's not self check-in - the host has to meet you. This made us feel tied down to timing of arrival vs being more flexible. Overall, it would be personal priorities on whether this is a good fit. I'm not sure we would stay again, but were appreciative for the stay.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay at Betty's property in downtown Golden. This is a historic property with a well appointed kitchen and bathroom, a lovely garden, private back porch, and lots of historic charming touches. Betty is a wonderful host who accommodated our late arrival and provided easy parking which we realized was key given the area is largely permit only parking. We plan to stay here again as we have a child in college at Mines wh we travel to visit a couple times per school year. Thank you Betty!

We have stayed here 3 times now and it's always great. Location & friendly owner make it perfect. The upstairs studio was fun and wonderful for me and my Mines daughter to have a girls weekend. Charming!!! Hope it is around for our future trips!

Betty’sPlace is conveniently located just north of Clear Creek in old historic Golden. Literally steps away from Washington Street bridge, Visitors Center, Historical Museum and library. Street parking is convenient and apartment is ample space for two adults. Couch pulls out if another guest or child involved. This was our third visit, and we certainly plan to return.

Another great stay at Betty's place. We love staying here whenever we come to Golden. Both units are well appointed and so homey. Nice to be able to stretch out with all the room and space. She has everything taken care of. We always look forward to having this as home base for our Golden stays. We dont even get a car its so close to everything

This is the best rental I have ever stayed in, and there have been a lot! Betty was lovely and very accommodating! The location could not be beat! Right next to the paved trail that runs next to the creek and a 2 minute walk into downtown Golden! Also, it was a 12 min drive to Red Rocks! The rental itself is impeccably clean, nicely decorated, fully equipped, and so comfortable! Don't hesitate on this one! I will be back here for each concert I attend!!!

Loved this rental! Great space for two of us to work remotely. Kitchen well stocked and had everything we needed for making lunches and cooking for a group of 8 on Easter. Private patio with grill was perfect. Bed comfortable, location to downtown and creek close. Front porch a good place to read on the rainy day. Outdoor flowers started to bloom on our stay. Betty has a great property and a wonderful host!

This house has the PERFECT location,,,actually I do not think you will find a better location,,, super clean home and very cozy… well stocked kitchen and bathroom,,,more than any other VRBO that I have rented,,,the patio is wonderful and gives you beautiful views of the mountains,,, I enjoyed my coffee in the sunroom in the morning,,, across the street from the Golden History museum and visitor center which I would advise visiting both. I would definitely rent this house again on our next visit to Golden!
