The Red Rocks Suite is a recently updated 3 bedroom second-story unit in a historic building that overlooks Golden’s famous “Welcome to Golden” arch. Since it was built in the 1870s, the building has housed a grocery store, a hotel, the Golden Globe Newspaper, a dry goods store, a carpet store, a furniture store, and a chapel. Many prominent businessmen, politicians, judges, and more have stayed in this building throughout its years, putting it on the map as an important hub in Golden for the last 150 years!
Renovated to include a sleek kitchen, two pristine bathrooms, and comfortable living areas, this home is perfect for enjoying the best of the town’s urban living within walking distance of Golden’s most popular attractions.
Each of the three bedrooms boasts spacious closets, dressers, and queen-sized beds with cool, crisp linens you’ll love falling into after a day of adventure. When you’re not cooking a meal in the fully-stocked kitchen or lounging in the home soaking in the views, you’ll love being so close to the best Golden has to offer.

Enter building on the ground level and take the stairs up to the second floor to enter your suite. Red Rocks Suite sleeps 8 guests.

One of Colorado's main draws is Rocky Mountain National Park, which makes for a great day trip. Drive a little over an hour through a dramatic canyon for a day of hiking, sightseeing, and wildlife viewing. Depending on your destination, skiing is 1-3 hours away. Locals head to Echo Mountain, Eldora (near Boulder), or Loveland (near Georgetown) for a more low-key experience. We're also within a couple of hours of Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, and Copper Mountain.
This location is the perfect jumping-off point for exploring the best of Golden and surrounding towns, the Rockies, and even Denver if you’re craving the hustle and bustle of the big city!
Getting Around:
The Rocky Mountains are to the West, and Denver is South of where you will be staying. I-70 West will take you into the mountains and straight to the ski areas, while you can hop on I-25 to access Fort Collins to the North and Colorado Springs to the South. The 36 takes you to Boulder and eventually the Rocky Mountain National Park gateway towns of Lyons and Estes Park.
Downtown Golden is a highly walkable city. In addition to nearby Clear Creek Trails, Washington Avenue and the historic 12th street neighborhood are great locations to stroll. A car is recommended if you will be exploring the mountains. For those without a car, we recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft to reach further destinations in and around Golden. Get exploring!

Newley renovated 3 bed place in great location to access downtown Golden. The unit is smaller than the pics appear. Living space is tight with no kitchen table. 3 Adults & 3 kids were a tight fit.
The place was very clean and beautiful.
I also wished we knew there was no reserved parking spot with this place. Your options are paid public garage or street parking and moving your car every 2 hours.

Property was clean and organized, had everything to accommodate my groups needs! Small living space, so not very much room for a group to spend time and hang out in, but we did not need that as we were out of the house most of the time. Great responsiveness from owner as well. Would recommend if you’re spending a weekend in Golden!

The location is great, right downtown. It is three bedrooms and two bath, but you would be hard pressed to fit six adults in here, it is very cozy. Be aware, there is no elevator with a long stairway up! Incredibly clean and new.

We rented both the Red Rocks suite and the Golden City Suite for ourselves and our extended family. We were in Golden for our sons' wedding weekend and the Avenue Hotel was perfect for our needs!
It was very convenient to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. We simply walked out the door and were in the center of all Golden has to offer. We had shuttle transportation to the wedding venue, so a car was not necessary.
The suites are spacious, modern and had all the amenities we needed and more. We definitely hope to return in the future for a personal vacation weekend!

The location is just wonderful. Everything you would want within walking distance. When we booked the property, we had planned to not have a car. We ended up renting a car for a day trip and even with the car had no trouble with parking. Plenty of short term (free 2hr) parking on street and lots and a overnight garage within a block or so of the property. Beautiful place and very clean and modern. The only negative I will let you know is there is not a highchair (which is still listed as a feature of the home) When I called I was told none of their properties have ever had highchairs? Since we were flying in with our grandson, it was one of the reasons (along with the pack n play) that we rented this property. Luckily I was able to call our daughter and have her bring a portable one for our grandson. All in all - beautiful apartment, building and location.

Perfect location with great views of the foothills and welcome sign. We were able to easily walk to restaurants, stores, bars, and the beautiful park/river nearby. Parking was a little tricky but we figured it out! Great communication by listing company! We would highly recommend for your Golden visit!

My family of 5 were in Golden for a family wedding. This apartment fit the bill wonderfully as it was well stocked with everything you would need in the kitchen bathroom and even laundry soap. Location is wonderful in downtown Golden within walking distance to Clear Creek trails and restaurants and the communication with the Highline Management team was wonderful. Only 2 things I could see them improving. 1) The hot water doesn’t get really hot which is being very picky and 2)The street level punch pad to get in is a bit tricky and hard to see.
Also note there is no parking. We were fortunate to have a spot from another family member a few blocks away.

This place was a great location for us. We had a veterans/first responders Gala and it was only 1 mile away. We loved our stay! We will be staying again.
