Lake views were beautiful. Thought was put into stocking the property. Door is difficult to use. Cabin is very rough with mixed wood scraps for the wallls and ceilings. Floors are uneven. Paint is marred, wallpaper or whatever is on the walls is peeling. The one super positive thing was the main bed. It was very comfortable! The area is very tranquil and quiet. The cabin definitely could have been cleaner.
peaquiet. I woul not pay the nightly rate again.

Two of us stayed at this cozy cabin while exploring the Detroit Lakes area, specifically searching for the DL Trolls (project 412). The cabin is a traditional “old school” kind of place. Small rooms but fine for two people. The screened porch and deck overlooking the lake were the highlights. There could be a few more glassware options and there are no closets to hang clothes. But overall it was the kind of “little cabin on the lake” experience we were looking for.

This cabin is perfect for a small family to enjoy. We enjoyed having two lakes to enjoy and the dock for our boat. We caught lots of fish and Sallie also! The two futons are great for extra sleeping. The cabin was super close to all sorts of activities including the Detroit lake beach, plenty of restraunts and shady hollow flea market. Would definitely rent again!

Clean and cozy cabin with awesome three-season porch. Stocked with everything you need...just bring food and clothes. Enjoy a meal of fish you catch. Boat launch close by and lake water is exceptionally clear. Can't beat views of two lakes from the deck. Plenty of parking space.

We had a great time staying at this Lake Sallie cabin. It was better than expected, and our 2 year old and 1 year old loved it!! The views of both lakes are awesome! The cabin came with everything you would expect and more. Hosts were great with any questions we had and the whole process of renting was a breeze. Thank you so much for a great holiday weekend!

Perfect getaway spot for WeFest. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and loved the access to both lakes on either side of property - wind doesn't matter:)

Fantastic stay
The property we stayed at was not the original that I booked because the original dock was destroyed, so we got an upgrade and it was more than we could have imagined. We love fishing and the new area we stayed at had an abundance of great fishing. Paul was great to work with and the cabin had everything we needed. Highly recommend staying, especially if you want to fish.

Family getaway
Awesome area - owner great and easy to get a hold of. Rustic cabin clean and enjoyable for the most part. A couple of issues that needed to be fixed (window falling apart, fire alarms kept going off, door didn't close easily), but decent overall. Nice stay.

Beautiful getaway
I brought my dog and we enjoyed some quiet days and nights by the lake. The cabin is small but comfortable and very clean. Nice amenities like a fire pit with wood, and water toys for the guests to use. Reliable WiFi, Roku tv, comfortable bed. I would recommend this property.

Great proximity to 2 lakes!
We brought our dogs and enjoyed our stay at this property. The dock on Sallie is very nice and since there are lakes on both sides of this cabin, we enjoyed both...depending on the wind. The cabin is cozy and had everything we needed.

Check in process was great. Paul was helpful. Beautiful property. Cabin was nice, kitchen was great. Loved the Culligan water! The cleaning process in between guests could have been better, wre found old water bottles behind couches. Overall it was good. Would go back again☺

Great week!
Paul was a great host. He was easy to get in touch with. Check in and out was simple. It was nice to have a outdoor kennel for our 2 German Wirehairs to hangout in while we fished. There were tons of little fish off both docks and that makes it fun for kids. We will definitely be back, we had a great stay!

High Life in DL
Great experience! Brought our kayaks, and tore the fish up on Lake Munson. Not as much luck on Lake Sallie, but a lot of water to cover in kayaks. I would definitely rent again. Thinking about next year already. Beautiful views!

Great little lake cabin
Very much enjoyed this cabin during a 3-week stay while working in town. The cabin met all of our basic needs as advertised and is picturesquely situated on the north side of beautiful lake sallie. Paul was very easy to communicate with and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The check in and out process was easy and smooth. Definitely would recommend.

Beautiful lake house in a beautiful location.
This lake house was perfect for our family of four with two dogs! Plenty of spots for everyone to sleep and access to two beautiful lakes!
The property manager was extremely helpful with a pontoon rental and informing us about the area and places to go for restaurants and fishing.
My young boys had a blast and would definitely like to go back.

Great little cabin to get away for the weekend. Very clean and great views of the lakes

Great lot, beautiful lake, and overall enjoyable time
Keep in mind this is a 3 season cottage with very rough finishes. Main bedroom had a somewhat musty smell, like there was a possible leak in the roof? Water quality was low, and didn’t stay warm long enough to take more than a few minute shower. “2nd bedroom” could hardly be considered that, with how small it was.
Things we did enjoy, were the deck and excellent lake views.
The dual lot with docks on both lakes.
Plenty of room for parking.
Large size kennel that we were able to keep our dogs in.
Fire pit
Friendly neighbors
At any rate, the owners seemed like very nice people, and were very responsive and accommodating during our stay. My personal opinion is that this property is priced too high for what you’re getting, and would warrant about half of what we paid.

Simple cabin for family getaway
The cabin has all of your basic needs, beds were comfortable, functional kitchen, nice front porch overlooking lake. Not the cleanest cabin... Lots of cob webs and dusty areas, but sheets and towels were clean. Our family enjoyed the dock on warmer days, lots of weeds tho so no swimming for us. Used the double kayak which was nice to have! Owners friendly and nearby for any extra needs! 😃 Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Little lake cottage
Lovely views., interesting decor( modern and retro with fisherman accents;) clear instructions for property . I took away one star because the door to the room with the bunch beds could not be closed , also the water needed to be treated for cooking and showers..,strong sulfer smell;(
