The staff we great, very friendly and very informative and spoke English which is rare to find in Sicily 🙂! The place is nice, comfortable and clean, walking distance from the centre of the city and the beach! Couldn’t ask for more.
There were a few small things in the bathroom that could be improved. the shower tap kept coming off and the hot water took long to come. And a few wear and tear signs.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at Stella Maris. The location is good for walking into the old town, and there is cheap car parking not too far away.
We enjoyed our breakfasts on the terrace, and the breakfast staff are superb - friendly and efficient.
Thanks also to Laura who helped us out on occasions, and organised breakfast at a local cafe because we were leaving early.
Although the room was large, there was little room to put our clothes, so we ended up living out of our suitcases.
We also do not agree with the policy of having towels changed every 3 days (or paying for more frequently)
We do support conservation, and are often willing to go a couple of days, but we have never been asked to pay for more frequent changes.
Despite my comments, our overall stay at Stella Maris was good.

The building and facility is highly secured where you’ll need to go through multiple doors. it’s not because the neighborhood was sketchy because it is fine. make sure you ask the the staff about whether you’re parked on the street is ok. When street cleaning takes place you won’t be able to park a one or another side of the street.
nothing.

The location was good, 10 min walk to center.
Nice town and good restaurants best so far we had in Sicily. Plenty beech places right next to the historic center. Breakfast was nice, I was asked if I prefer savory or sweet food
Had to activate my cellphone (cost me ten euros) to get messages from booking about how to get to my room

Breakfast was at a local cafe - all good, they were very helpful to this non-Italian speaking visitor. Ham roll and coffee was a nice change.
Four separate keys to get into the room, street door, outer terrace door, main door, room door - #2 seemed very worn so I struggled to get it to work.

Location was perfect. Room was spacious and clean and well equipped. Thanks to our host Laura who took the time to explain Trapani highlights and recommend restaurants.
Parking is metered in front of the property. Free street parking is a couple of blocks around the corner.

The owner, carolla, was very helpful in all aspects. Her English is good and she "feels"for her customers. Location is fine and parking was close and the cost low.
Although breakfast was ample some of the things are prepacked and not fresh. Yet it was good.

Comfortable bef
Good size room, OK bathroom……shower was fine, toilet sometimes would not flush due to tank not filling properly, frustrating. While it is a central location, it is VERY noisy as rooms face major road with lots of traffic, sirens, loud music, bring good ear plugs. WiFi is spotty at best with frequent, extended disconnects. Sent to nearby cafe for breakfast, one food item, one coffee, paid for the rest. Booking said credit cards accepted, told cash only on arrival. Coffee machine in lobby….one euro per serving….first time I’ve seen that after extensive travel in Italy. Had to text management to get toilet paper, very little in room at check in. Suggest staying elsewhere

The room was very clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly. One simple detail I loved, was finding full bottles of good-quality commercial soap and shampoo, not the typical tiny hotel soap.
Not necessarily a bad thing, but a clarification. Breakfast is basic. You get a fresh item from the bakery, fruits, a cup of yogurt, juice box and a hot drink.

The location was perfect - close enough to walk to the city centre, but far enough away to be relatively quiet at night.
The breakfast was fine - and Laura is super-friendly, serviceminded and helpful - supported by Fabio.

- big room
- all new
- clean
- good location
- and first of all, Laura who works there.
Laura was the only member of the staff who spoke English. Communication with her was a pure pleasure. She gave us a lot of advice, showed us free parking, was very helpful.
It’s pretty extraordinary to meet a person who is so eager to help and so nice.
- except Laura, staff doesn’t even speak basic English what was pretty problematic.
- breakfast only sweet and very basic.
