The home was spotless and better appointed than any property I have stayed at. I always bring my own spices and knives, but I wouldn't have needed to. The beds were comfortable and the living room welcoming. The location was perfect, steps away from Stump's pass or the gulf. We spent the sunsets on the beach and there were so many activities close by. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We love the house and location. The house is great for just hanging out or hosting a few friends for dinner or cards. Easy access to the beautiful beach with no challenges. 20 minute walk to yoga on the beach is a big plus for me. Owners are very easy to communicate with. Can't wait to come again.

This property was even better than expected . It looked very nice on the rental site but many new renovations that were done made the house even better. It was found to be very clean and very well stocked from cleaning supplies to kitchen items to beach chairs , towels etc. Beds very comfortable ! Cindy was very helpful answering any questions we had. The location is great…quieter end of the Manasota Key and close to the beach and Stump Pass State Park. Look forward very much to returning next year! We loved it ! Carol & Al

A lovely house in the perfect location for everything! The beach, the people, the restaurants! Super wonderful hosts! 🙂

I stayed at this lovely beach house for a week in early January 2024. The location was fantastic! It was just around the corner from the beach and close to a park. The house was clean and recently remodeled. It had everything I needed. Cindy was a great host!

Our family stayed at the property between Christmas and New Year’s. At the time of the booking our stay there were older pictures of property in the listing so we were pleasantly surprised by the upgrades. Check in was straightforward and owner was communicating with us and helpful. Just before our arrival at the property owner notified us that because of storms that were rolling through gulf a week prior there was some water intrusion into the house and dishwasher was not working and bathroom door was swollen from water, however when we arrived we discovered that there was no internet and some other electrical problems. We understood that those things happen and didn’t expect those issues resolved during our stay especially during Christmas break. Owner offered discounted rate for our inconvenience and we moved on. This property is clean, well equipped and close to park, beach and restaurants definitely worth considering when planning to stay in Manasota Key. Im leaving 4 Star rating just because our inconveniences but definitely 5 star when everything works as expected.

The perfect place to rest and relax. The beach a few steps away. Ideal for kayaking and paddle boarding. With excellent communication with the host. The house with everything you need for vacation. We are going to come back.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. This is our third year staying in Englewood. This will be the first year that we saw numerous “No Trespassing” signs on the beach. We walked to Stump Pass for access not a long walk but we 2 replaced knees it was tough on days.
Cindy was terrific with everything if we had questions.

Wonderful location! Very nice home with all amenities. Just a quick walk to the beach and down the road from restaurants. Right next to state park. Peaceful and relaxing location.
4.8
Great location! The property was awesome for early morning beach walks and the proximity to stump pass park was perfect for the kids to swim in the calm bay! Will 110% stay there again!

Cindy is very good to work with!! She is very friendly and responds immediately to any questions!! We had a great stay. Even with red tide the first week it was fun!! Would stay again!

Our stay was great - short walk to the beach. Wanna B Inn was closed due to construction so beach was very quiet and private. We did want to use the bikes but tires were flat and when we went to use the pump noticed one of the tires was completely blown so we walked but that was not a big deal for us. Overall a great little place to stay.

This place was perfect for our beach headquarters. Gorgeous beach just a short walk away. Great layout for two couples. House is spacious, charming, relaxed, unassuming. We especially loved the giant lanai and bonus bed in the breezeway! The bed mattresses and pillows were new/ish and very comfortable (which, unfortunately can be unusual in rentals). The couch pull out mattress was actually very comfortable - really! (Tempur pedic?) You can't feel any bars or any part of the frame under it! We prepared/ate every meal at the house/made lunch for beach. Kitchen was roomy and very well equipped. Close access to grocery/convenience stores and pharmacies. There was a cold snap at the beginning of our visit and the house had comfortable heat. When the weather got more seasonal, the AC was great as well. Very comfortable! Hosts extremely responsive. Would love to stay here again.

Has everything you could need for a few days the beach. This is our 2nd time here and looking forward to coming again.

My family has traveled to Manasota Key since I was a child and we have rented 30+ properties amongst us. I would try a different property the next time we go down as there are many other properties in the same area that have been updated for roughly the same price.
1. Beach access - Wanna B Inn staff disagrees with the description of the beach access described by the owner. A male Wanna B staff member actually told me I had to walk south on the beach to the park to set up an umbrella (I was 5 feet from water and nowhere near the seawall.) This is a very far walk and it was extremely hot.
2. Room with the daybed is useless. It is EXTREMELY hot in this room even with the fan on and the windows open. There is NO WAY a person could sleep on the day bed in that room in the summer.
3. Maintenance to unit is needed: back bathroom toilet does not flush properly - you have to lift the lid and manually flush it; dishwasher leaks; and there is water damage in the left closet in master bedroom which is visible on the drywall.
4. Great location if you understand your beach access limitations.
5. It is nice to have 2 person kayak but the beach items were just thrown in the garage so we had to move things about in order to use anything.
6. Kitchen was minimally stocked with necessities - enough but not equivalent to the properties my family members rented on the key.
7. Back patio area was nice.
8. AC worked fine despite the owner emailing me telling me that the Florida Dept of Energy recommended temperature be set at 78.... as a Floridian and owner of rental properties - I found our email exchange condescending and will not rent from this owner again.
9. There is a discrepancy in the check out times provided. In some areas it says 10am and on the "rental agreement" it says 11am.
Hope this helps future renters.

First, the owners were fantastic! Cindy was first class all the way! Thank you! The house is perfectly located. It's a dead end road so there was little traffic and it was so peaceful. It is a very short walk to the beach, and the bay, if you want to explore both places. The house has absolutely everything you need for a perfect vacation. The beach was very private while we were there in June and the water was amazing. My family absolutely loved our week away here!

Place was close to the beach. The owners had the house stocked with home essentials also with all a family would need for the beach.

Location, location, location
House was clean, in good condition, and well stocked for a beach vacation. Folding chairs, boogie boards, beach umbrella and shelter, two person kayak and more. Kitchen had all the appliances, utensils, and plates you could possibly need. Comfortable beds, good linens and plenty of towels. Very short walk to either the beach or the Lemon Bay side as well as the State Park. Plenty of parking and lots to do in a very short drive. Great location, great rental.

We really enjoyed the house. It had a lot room and they had everything you needed.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars across the board was due to the beach access.
In the comments from the owner it said we had access to the beach in front of the sea wall at WannB Inn but WannaB told us we had to go all the way down to Stump Pass park.
That was a very long walk, luckily we managed ok but it would be very difficult for someone older or if you had young children
I hate to complain but we were not expecting the extra distance with chairs, umbrella and cooler
Walking across the street was fine but having to go down to the park was a good little walk.

Perfect Vacation
We had a wonderful time in Manasota Key! Cindy and Tony were hospitable from the beginning. They were easy to reach and accommodating throughout our visit and were even responsive when we contacted them after we left and discovered that my husband had left a drawer-full of clothes behind... The house was spacious and well stocked. We slept comfortably, played cards and did some on-line work on the porches, did lots of laundry, watched a movie in the living room, hiked in Stump Pass Park (a short, easy wall from the house), biked to Blind Pass Beach, ate good meals at the Tiki Bar and Magnolias, and took the tandem kayak out on the sound along with a SUP that we brought with us. We spent hours at the private beach and at the public beaches, sitting in the beach chairs provided by Cindy and Tony while our 8-year-old took to the boogie board stored in the garage. We loved that the house had both a bathtub and showers. We love to cook and were so pleased that the kitchen had nearly everything we could possibly need to prepare our meals. The only items missing for us were a 1/4 cup, a small whisk, and a garlic press. *Everything* else we needed to cook with was available. Thank you, Tony and Cindy, for opening your beach house to us. We hope to be back again!

Very nice house with great access to the beach. House is very clean with lots of toys for the beach as well as bicycles to ride. Enjoyed all the fun things to do on the Key as well as in Englewood and surrounding area. Very good restaurants and shopping close by. We were lucky to be able to see Manatees every morning at a fishing dock at Blind Pass Beach just up the road.
Overall, a great time.

Location was great! Quick walk to beach & state park, easy walk to restaurants. The house has a lot of space and the screened lanai was wonderful. Could use a little updating and maybe a better cleaning of kitchen drawers/cupboards but overall it was great and we all had a wonderful time!

Home has all the extras for the beach. Kayak, beach chairs, sand toys, etc. Great home with 3 beds made it easy for my family to spread out. The back patio is a great hang out spot. 5 out of 5 stars!! My family is already talking about returning to the same house in the future.

Comfortable House in the perfect area
The house accommodated our needs, and was in the price range with minimum night requirement as well. Easy walk to the beach. Bedroom off kitchen only offered louver doors...no privacy. The door between their bathroom and the 2nd bedroom was not sound proof. Bed(s) comfortable. Kitchen nice size. Big back patio. Would stay there again. Property owner was wonderful and very responsive to questions and very accommodating for early arrival.

We enjoyed this beach cottage that was well equipped for an active family. House was well supplied overall and had beach floats, bikes, and a really nice tandem kayak. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable. They were plenty of towels for us as well. We could walk to the nature reserve, the beaches, and the intercoastal. We were able to drop our kayaks in across the street at a ramp. There was jet skis rental nearby and a couple good seafood restaurants. We particularly loved the beach with lots of natural shells and we did not get caught by the red tide. Only a couple small issues that we shared w owner- easy items to replace. Also glad to have a beach wagon to carry supplies and extra beach floats to beach. We were able to watch movies as well with the cable and our Netflix account. Really great to have our medium sized dogs w us and they enjoyed walking the area (not allowed on the beach tho). All in all, a fun few days in a pleasant cozy beach home.

The house is very spacious with everything you need. We really appreciated all what is available for a great time at the beach: beach chairs, umbrella and canopy, cooler and ice packs, even a kayak! Manasota Key is a very beautiful place and the beach was not too crowded. I had an issue (our fault) with the lock and could contact easily the owner who was friendly and helpful.
I don't give a perfect score for 2 reasons:
We were a little confused about where on the beach we could go: on the right there is a sign that the beach is private for the private property beach(this property is not on the beach but very close) and on the left it is the State park(you have to pay a small fee). The description says "a deed path" through a private property. We guessed we could stay on their beach (not clear what is private) but we paid the State park fee to be sure and go where we wanted.
The beach issue was really minor but the cleaning was more of a problem. At first it looked ok, but then we realized this was rushed and thankfully there was wipes to do the extra cleaning.
Thinking the cleaning will be fixed and that the description about the beach needs maybe an update, I would totally recommend this house.

The house and area where great. The house was just as the listing said. It was clean and had everything we needed. The beach access was close and the beach and state park area was awesome. There where turtle nest everywhere and new turtle tracks and nest almost every night we where there. The bird sanctuary at the end of the key was nice to see with all the chick's running around. Even found a good amount of shark teeth on beach. The Sand Bar and White Elephant bars had good food and good entertainment, and shuttle was really nice. I would definitely go back and stay agian.
