This cheery multilevel home is tastefully decorated and appointed. Main floor: large open living room dining area and kitchen opening up onto a beautifully landscaped terrace and garden. Two twin bedrooms and one bathroom.
Lower (street) level: Bedroom with queen bed and private full bathroom. Second floor: master bedroom suite with queen bed, private full bathroom and walk-in closet/changing room and a day bed.
This perfect Nantucket location is an easy walk into town, to the windmill, to open parks and charming lanes. Away from the hustle and bustle of Nantucket tourists and traffic and yet so close to everything!

All enjoyed their stay at Trunkles. We had no issues or problems the entire stay. The house was as advertised...nice, clean, and with all of the amenities that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, and it was a very easy, 10 minute walk into town. We will not hesitate to book again. Thanks Tom!

Highly recommend Tom’s home. It is perfectly situated - quick walk to town and a quick drive to everywhere (truly everywhere!) else. The home is well stocked with anything you could need and super spacious. A great layout for a group so you don’t feel on top of each other! We hope to be back very soon!

This home is located in a great area and close proximity to downtown. The owners were easy to work with and very responsive when needed. We were hoping this home was a bit more higher end and wish it was in better shape. The furnishings were veey tired and need to be replaced as well as all the towels and linens. The towels were torn and scratchy. The outside patio furniture was covered in moss. Other than the location being convenient I'm sorry to say we would not rent again unless there were some updates.

Trunkles is the perfect Nantucket home! Beautifully detailed and in an ideal location that is walking distance to downtown! The home is charming and classic with the perfect amount of space for a family. The multi level bedrooms give everyone their needed privacy. Every room was spacious and cozy! Trunkles invites you to relax and feel at home while visiting beautiful Nantucket Island! Host was gracious, accessible and very responsive! Hope to visit again! Highly recommend!

A stay on Nantucket island would be amiss without claiming one of the quaint, grey-shingled cottages as your own while you are there. This one does not disappoint. Just a couple of blocks off the cobblestone Main Street, it is furnished just as you would imagine - with Old World, New England-style pieces to preserve the charm of the area. The host made it easy to access and everything you need in a full kitchen is there - even tupperware containers and ziplock bags. The backyard patio is like a private oasis. There are two rooms with full/queen beds with private bathrooms and two rooms with twins that share a bathroom. All were reportedly comfortable. We walked to shopping and the harbor with no trouble and it is fun to explore the neighborhood! We were delighted to find this place and hope to return again one day.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family. I've been coming to Nantucket for over 40 years. This home was perfectly situated - close enough to walk to town but tucked away to provide peace and quiet. The house was large, clean, and had everything we needed. The owner was available whenever needed.

Our stay at Trunkles was quite lovely. My family loved the open living area, where folks could cook, dine, and lounge while being together. We also appreciated how well stocked the house is, particularly as it relates to cooking and going to the beach. Last but not least, the house is conveniently located to downtown (15 minute walk) and Stop & Shop (15 minute walk). Hope to return!!!

Our daughter got married this past Saturday and my husband and I along with my cousins stayed at Trunkles. It was the perfect location being close to town so our guest could walk to everything. The home was the perfect wedding home as our daughter was able to get her makeup done and get dressed for her wedding in the beautiful MBR suite. The home was spacious and very clean. We will definitely stay again as we loved everything about Trunkles. Thomas was a great host very attentive and quick to answer any questions we had.

This was a great house for our family wedding. Nice kitchen and living area to relax/visit. Bedrooms are separated so works well for those with guests of varying ages (i.e. we had a baby taking naps). Driveway is very narrow so takes a little adjusting to make 2 cars fit and be able to open the doors - there is no parking area on the lane itself. No soap or shampoo in showers which was a bit of a surprise the first day so come prepared. A little noise with construction currently being completed nearby.

Fantastic Property

Our stay was for a long weekend to attend a family wedding on the island. The house is large, well appointed and comfortable. The beds are excellent. The kitchen has everything you could need. We were there for the wedding and most of the functions were afternoon and evening. We spent several morning gathered on the very nice outdoor patio behind the house, which is lovely and feels very private despite the density of the neighborhood. We had eight family members there and it never felt crowded. We used Uber some, but it's an easy walk to downtown. It was perfect for us. I have no hesitation recommending the house.

We enjoyed our stay immensely in this beautiful, cozy, comfortable home. It's very close to the downtown district and so that is a huge plus. It's also quite roomy with a good sized kitchen, and living and dining areas just off the kitchen. Each bedroom is nicely sized, and the Master is quite large with separate relaxing areas and very large closet space. And one of the nicest features of this lovely house is the shaded back patio which is an awesome place to start your day enjoying coffee, or begin your evening enjoying a cold beverage before heading out to the vast number of restaurants only a short 10 minute walk away. Also, the owners keep this place exceptionally clean which is always appreciated. All in all, I would stay at this wonderful house again in a heartbeat!

The open-plan kitchen, dining area and living room was spacious, charming, comfortable and well-appointed, beds were comfortable and baths sparkling clean. Within walking distance of the town center. Patio on which to relax, eat out-of-doors, listen to the song birds and enjoy the plantings. Peaceful, quiet, absolutely lovely.
