Nick & Sandra's place is a wonderful retreat to the beautiful Irish countryside.

Nick & Sandra are wonderful hosts!! They made sure our stay was pleasant and comfortable. Their home is out in the countryside -- beautiful setting -- we had a peaceful walk to the end of the country lane.

Everything about our stay was wonderful.

Cosy apartment, wonderful hosts

Nick and Sandra's apartment is lovely and cosy and perfect for a weekend getaway. It's right beside Slane for the concert goers and a short drive from anywhere else you'd like to see around Meath. Sandra was very kind to us from the get-go and made us feel right at home and even had left out a few bits for us to make breakfast and light snacks. I'd highly recommend staying here.

Well, we liked the warm welcome and the comfortable surroundings. Also the fact that there was food and drinks in the fridge, a hamper with a variety of snacks, which we didn't expect. It felt like home from home. We will definitely pass this information on to our friends.

Very comfortable country stay, convenient to Brun na Boinne.

Spacious quarters and very nice hosts. Property rental did not include breakfast, but hosts provided us with everything from orange juice and milk to cereal and croissants!

It was a bit difficult (at least for us) to find, but Nick intercepted our wandering rental car and guided us to the property!

Home away from home - warm and welcoming hosts in the Royal county

great communication with Nick and Sandra from the start. Warm welcome - really comfortable bed. Spotless! Breakfast and other goodies (beer and crisps) left in the kitchen for us. Kitchen well kitted out and lovely garden area outside. We only stayed for a night as were going to a wedding in Slane (Sandra offered to drop us over to it!) but you could easily stay there for longer as a couple as it’s a great base if you wanted to explore Meath and Louth. They really went out of their way for us - when we mentioned in the booking that one of us was gluten and lactose free- gluten free bread was lactose free milk was provided in the very generous breakfast basket. Also lovely waking up to see the cows across the road in the field!

Wish we had booked more time so we could walk and enjoy the countryside.

A beautiful country location. Sandra has created a welcoming, comfortable, tastefully decorated home away from home. Lots of tasty snacks and impeccably clean.

Great place to stay!

Nick and sandra was so welcoming and lovely during our stay and it was a wonderful place to stay for a wedding in tankardstown. The place was homely, clean and warm. The bed was extremely comfortable and we had a lovely stay!

Amazing apartment in the country

Although Nick and Sandra's was a iittle hard to find since it is out in the country, it was a lovely apartment that we enjoyed very much! The kitchen was well-stocked so even though breakfast "wasn't included," we had plenty of options for preparing our own breakfast. Nick and Sandra were quite attentive to making sure they would be available when we arrived and were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the nearby town and found the location and apartment to be very relaxing and comfortable. (You would have a hard time getting there without a car.)

Everything was great! (Although we couldn't figure out how to lock the door when we left)

This property was spotless and so clean. Nick was so welcoming and even gave us a lift to a wedding we were attending in Tankardstown! The bed was really comfy and they provided all the supplies for a breakfasts no snacks

excellent, comforting to know you have friendly hosts when travelling alone

very friendly hosts, gave useful advice re taxi home from wedding venue i was attending and kindly transported me to the venue. The property was well equipped and i was assured if i required anything just to let them know.

The host was exceptionally accommodating and drove us to the wedding at Tankardstown House!

Breakfast was self-service and a packaged experience. However, the privacy of having our own self-contained unit made up for an unimaginative breakfast!. Everything was laid on and the host was exceptionally pleasant. A very acceptable place to spend a night.

Breakfast was underwhelming but acceptable in the scheme of things.
