Have stayed here for past few years. Always enjoyed our stay and can’t fault the staff. Would definitely return

Nothing. Only small snag bar didn’t open till 7 and was always closed when we got back which was only around 11 ish so never had a nightcap.

Goed verblijf voor enkele dagen. Niet ver van albufeira.

Nette kamer met heerlijk groot bed. Verse jus d’orange bij het ontbijt. Prima gratis parkeeerplaats.

Badkamer iets aan de kleine kant, maar goed te doen. Ontbijt was goed, maar niet heel bijzonder. Koffie was niet erg lekker.

I must say this was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Amazing service, lovely staff and great room. It was my birthday that week and they left a lovely birthday card and chocolate cake in my room. Thank you to Maria and the staff and Velamar Boutique Hotel!!!

Really great place

Location, rooms, service and breakfast were all great

A group of about 5 middle aged men by the pool were playing loud and unpleasant music through a portable speaker... I asked the bar staff to intervene and I basically got encouraged not to complain because they "might make trouble". This is a small, quiet hotel - it should be the staff's responsibility to resolve this without visitors having to ask for it

it was not worth 1K we paid for. tv could have Netflix we asked for ironing board twice….. and the ones they brought 1 or 2hr (s) later didn’t work so we didn’t bother to ask again

One of best hotel in albufeira (Olhos de Agua). Excelente service, very clean, private car parking , excelent breakfast. Location is great. Quite area away from the busy city with good restaurants and supermarket. Recommended.

A warm welcome in Portugal

Really lovely staff and the location is very good for two gorgeous beaches. Right outside the hotel had some lovely amenities too. Breakfast was excellent and the rooftop breakfast room is a lovely place to start the day. Our room was a suite and a great size.

The only minor downsides for us was the cleaning team didnt remove rubbish over the course of our stay until the 2nd to last day. And pool towels could not be changed daily and we had no means of drying them due to no balcony or line in the room. The couches in our room need to be updated and small details like the shower door need some maintenance.

Hotel is very nice, would recommend

Staff were very professional, extremely obliging and friendly, in particular the young gentleman who checked us in. Room was beautiful and very spacious. Breakfast was good, enough choice. Good location, Olhos d'Agua is a lovely location situated between Albuferia and Vilamoura. Plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Beautiful beach within walking distance. Would recommend.

Pool area was clean and lovely but small, limited loungers in the sun. We didn't have a balcony.

Amazing stay, hotel is excellent

Hotel is pristine. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Beds extremely comfortable and large. Area is perfect if you want somewhere quieter while it’s only a ten to fifteen mins ride from livelier old town and the marina. Vilamoura is also a twenty min Uber or taxi away. Good choice for couples and retirees.

Maybe some music by the pool so it wasn’t too quiet.

Nice room and big bed. Excellent parking. Friendly staff.

Shower holder couldn’t hold shower on full. Drain couldn’t cope and as a result water all over floor. Pool is too small.

Everything. We changed rooms because of a very bad and dangerous leak from the ceiling light. And the other room also had leaks and problems plus a very bad smell. the shower drain had a problem so there was standing water in the shower the whole time we were there (5nights) and the worst part is that it was NEVER cleaned!

We've stayed here twice now and we'll go again some day, excellent value for money

The room was a great size, the beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was excellent, the breakfast was good and the pool was a decent size, not too big or overcrowded. Close to shops, restaurants and a short walk to the beach.

We wanted a double bed but we got two single beds pushed together. Literally the only negative point to the hotel, not a major issue though.
