Cute older home on a beautiful, wooded lot. The management company was responsive to email and the owner even stopped by to address a concern we had. Our dog enjoyed sitting on the three-season porch and watching the bunnies in the yard. Easy walk to the Salt Pond public access on Knowlesway Ext. and quick drives to all the beaches.
The photos and description of the house are dated - there is no interior living room (it is now a formal dining room), the kitchen has a small hi-top table, and the porch has couches, armchairs, and a TV. The house has been well used by tenants and renters and there are some oddities (unfinished closets, water heater in the bedroom, sticking drawers), but worth a stay for the yard, porch, and location.

Great house- a few issues throughout the week-

The location is what made our vacation so good. It's close to all the places on the water. The neighborhood is quiet with nice houses. The back yard is very big and private.
The house itself was just ok. It's very basic, hasn't been renovated and could use some upgrading and better maintenance. Both toilets were running. The beds are pretty bad as I see others have pointed out. It wouldn't take much effort at all to spruce the place up and make it a little nicer. It has the feel of a college rental during the off season.
But the location and yard were so nice that I would consider renting again.

Came in on Saturday there was a pile of garbage outside that smelled like fish. It stunk up the whole house, you couldn’t even keep the windows open. It was finally removed by Tuesday. The two downstair bedrooms were had full size beds. If you are over 5 feet tall, you can barely fit. My husbands feet hungover the side of the bed. Those beds are for a single person, not two adult size humans. So if you have a family of 8, this house is too small. I called the realtor to ask if the house had linens, they told me only to bring beach towels that the house had bath towels. There were no bath towels. I had to buy new ones for the family. Also planned a lobster bake at the house. They did not have any lobster utensils at this beach house. We finally left a day earlier because we could not sleep another night in those beds. The owner of the property did refund us $300 for our inconvenience. I do think we should have gotten more given that half our vacation we smelled the vile garbage outside our front door. Other than that property was private and on a nice street.

Quiet neighborhood great location.

The house was spacious, although it had a small living room
and there was only one TV.
The property was very nice and very quiet which we liked.
The light/fan in the upstairs bath was very noisy. A separate light
and fan would have been better. The handle on the toilet upstairs
didn't always return. One of the lights in the bedroom downstairs
didn't go on. We have no major complaints.
All in all, we were very happy with our stay there.

The location was great - quiet neighborhood, private, beaches close by. Nice place for pets with a wonderful dog park a few miles away.
The cottage is a nice size. From a weekly cleaning perspective it was fine. If the owner got a dumpster for all the big items stored here there and everywhere plus spiffed up the shower area this place would be just right.

It was great to be near Scarborough Beach and Pt. Judith. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our teenage son to spread out. House seems to be undergoing renovations and still needs updating. No clothes hangers at the house. Floor of outdoor shower needs repair. Was once a nicely maintained home.
Overall, we found the home clean, but less than luxurious. Living room is tiny and lighting throughout the house is less than ideal.
We visited Aunt Carrie's several times as well as Galilee fish store.

This house was a great place for myself and my two adult children and my dog! We were right next to the water where my dog could go swimming every morning and every night we could walk down to the end of the street and catch a beautiful sunset over the water. We spent most of the time when we were home either sitting on the picnic table in the backyard or outside on the screened in porch. And having four bedrooms with a couple of beds in the upstairs bedroom was great for extra space if someone came to visit. We definitely enjoyed our week at this home.

The location is close to everything ! The neighborhood is quiet. The yard is private with beautiful trees and a wonderful breeze.
The house is cozy, I especially loved the porch.

The property is on a nice quiet street and has an awesome yard. We came as 5 single people and one couple ...with the bed setup was perfect. Some of the electric was funky...like the switches for the lights being behind the door...but we are on vacation and could handle...loved the screen in porch...all in all, was well worth it.

This house was very clean and in a quite neighborhood. Our dog loved the veranda. 3 Minute drive to the beach and Point Judith for fresh lobsters and streamers! I would highly recommend this house!
