L’emplacement.

Front of house staff was very friendly, location was beautiful, beach area was ok but underwhelming for price. Rooms were very nice.
Food was unbelievably overpriced and just not very good. Restaurants and cafe were slow, forgot about us, portions were comically small and laughably expensive. Check in was very slow.
4.1
+ Private beach with sunbeds and parasols, pebble shore and sand bottom
+ Live music 2-3 times a week on evenings
+ Free parking
+ Good restaurant on site
+ Jetski / paddle rentals on site
+ Friendly staff quickly resolves all issues in a friendly and professional manner
- Hard to find location: no any sign where to turn from the main road
- Small room with tiny balcony with very uncomfortable hard wooden chairs
- Bathrooms, doors, room furniture, hallways need urgent renovation
- Breakfast selection is not corresponding to 5* hotel, e.g. fish is missing, you need to ask for eggs, water etc
- Empty mini-bar with only still water available in the fridge
- Restaurant on site is rather expensive (we paid same price that Michelin-stared restaurant charged us for a dinner)
- No underground / shaded parking, as a result car turns hot even before lunch
- No any activities offered (e.g. no newspapers/magazines to read, no mini-golf or table tennis to play)

Best hotel in Ajaccio. Old concept and facilities, but managed well. Restaurant and food are excellent.
The staff is attentive but not effective in meeting clients needs. Feels somehow more administrative than in the hospitality area.

beautiful place, great leisure activities, wonderful bed and delicious breakfast. excellent service of the restaurant and bar personnel. I appreciated the help unloading and parking the car

4.1
The location is amazing and overall the experience was positive.
The garden and pool are amazing, like the views from the hotel and the room we got with terrace
The breakfast is extremely expensive for the bad service provided. The service on the restaurant for the breakfast and the bar at night was very bad.. no motivated, keep forgetting our orders every single day we were there (5 days)
The room and specially bathroom need renovation.

The hotel is located in a truly beautiful place, it is very enjoyable to be there. The staff were very professional, helpful and attentive. I really enjoyed the beach and the maginificent views.
The main problem with this hotel is the value for money. When you go to a hotel in this price range you truly expect a lot more than you get here. Despite the beautiful property, the building itself clearly needs a complete renovation, it has clearly not been renovated in around 25 years. There isn't really a feeling of luxury.
One thing that was extremely, extremely unpleasant was that in the middle of our stay, the hotel decided to organize a live music concert right in the middle of the hotel grounds. We were informed the night before with an invite to attend at a charge of 150 euros per person. As we are not interested in this (and another reason why we picked a hotel on a cape, far away from the party zones) We left for the evening but returned at 11.30, and of course were unable to sleep, you could literally fees the bass beats in the room, which was facing the concert directly. People from outside the hotel came. They began rehearsing at 6 pm, you could hear the music on the beach, and didnt stop until 12.30 am. This is extremely surprising and annoying from a 5 star hotel, where people with small children come. If this happened in a 3 star, 80euro per night all-inclusive in Turkey, I would not be too surprised. But in a 5 star 'luxury' hotel on Corsica - come on.... the music was probably of the lowest quality I have ever heard.
The food was also a little underwhelming. I was really expecting more. What made this stay good for me was the location, which really is incredible, and the staff.
Don't get me wrong -- it's not a bad hotel, the atmosphere is really pleasant overall and it was relaxing. But if you are charging 500 euros per night for a double room, you need to not cut corners with food and organize awful concerts to make some extra cash. This is just beyond comprehension.

What I really liked about the property is the view. It is absolutely stunning and peaceful.
The food was ok but not amazing and not at the level of a 5 stars hotel. The service was a bit rigid.
4.1
Staff and location was good.
No lift all throughout our stay to 2nd floor. And the property needs refurbishment in certain areas especially the rooms for the rates they are charging. Breakfast is very expensive and the restaurants are rip offs 140euro for a small fish.
4.1
The place is beautiful and the staff is very kind and helpful. The concierge was amazing!!!
There aren't enough air conditioning and shaded public areas downstairs
4.1
location
old facilities, average restaurant and services, tennis court not ready to play full of dirt impossible to practice and uneven surface (reception provide a blower to selfa-clean the court ) Small beach access with fake sand more like small stones not comfortable.

Very pleasant second stay in this beautiful place - great view from our room, good breakfast, friendly staff, nice private beach. Big plus for the charging stations for hybrid/electric cars.
The hotel is very dog friendly, however the animal supplement (40 euros per night) is much higher than in other hotels we stayed at (including other Sofitel hotels).

great staff and location
bit run down

Such a beautiful property! The location and how it's being used with seating areas, bar, restaurant etc. is amazing. The staff is trained very well - so polite, quick, attentive and well organized - beyond the standards of other luxury places on Corsika.
Also, they are very very child-friendly!
Planes regularly pass by which of course causes noise, but we weren't bothered by it.
4.1
Great view of the sea! Great balcony! Room size is very good. Bathroom is very good. Meets all expectations of a luxury resort.
Check-in process is unfriendly. If check-out time is 12 noon, why can't incoming guests be given rooms by 1 pm or so? Even if guests have to wait, why can't the room be made ready in 15-20 minutes? Surely they can tell housekeeping to clean up the room meant for arriving guests? Staff just doesnt care for arriving guests. They made me wait until 3 pm (I came at 1 pm), and that too after I complained to booking.com.

Everything about this hotel was superb. The stuff is very polite, the overall experience is great. Good and nice location with breathtaking views on Ajaccio bay. Breakfast and diner are tasty, congratulations to the Chef.

This hotel is well run with a full complement of staff. Harold looked after us in the restaurants ensuring our well being. I appreciated his and the staff’s positive energy.
Tô be honest it would be hard to find fault with anything. Everyone works hard here and puts the guests first. The management should be congratulated.
