An idyllic setting, room with a panoramic Seaview, attentive service, friendly and helpful staff, a restaurant setting to die for(!), and a chef and waiting staff of exceptional quality. A remarkable hotel in a brilliant setting. Our thanks to all staff and management team.
Nothing, see above, truly nothing to criticise.

It is an amazing hotel, exclusive, excellent, and exceptional. Very comfortable and welcoming. It is all located in Porticcio, not far from Ajaccio but far enough to make it quiet and clean and amazing. The staff is amazing, the rooms have everything that you may need, even more.

Amazing location. Private beach. Beautiful room (priceless opening the window on the beach every morning). Superb view from the restaurant (very nice service, also in room). Staff always kind and available.
Everything was perfect. Really.
As the only suggestion, considering all the food service is provided by the elegant restaurant of the hotel, maybe increasing the offer with some more easy-going choices would not be a bad idea (sometimes on the seaside, even thought a refined offer is appreciated, people are just looking for something uncomplicated).

I had a beachside room with terrace overlooking the beach -just stunning. The restaurant here was both anazing and delicious with dinner and lunch served on the terrace next to the pool.

This place is such a charming hotel. It is a family own hotel which makes the experience kind of unique.

- Very nice setting in front of the sea.
- Very good breakfast and we had an amazing dinner there too.
- We enjoyed the swimming pool and the stand up paddles
- Attention to details like the Guerlain shower gels
- The service was excellent, friendly staff
- The room looked a bit outdated and quite below our expectations given the price, especially the bathroom which looked poorly renovated.
- We had one unclean bathrobe (hair and stains) which again surprised us for a hotel of this standing

I loved the location. Perfectly situated on the water. Romantic setting. Luxurious but cozy and not ostentatious. Experienced personnel. Professional. Quiet. Secluded. Charming. Really nice private beach, with beach beds, umbrellas and drink/food service. Great breakfast and great waiter. And really nice toiletries from Guerlain!
Dinner could have been better. It’s a beautiful setting but it wasn’t fantastic. At least not what we would expect from a 5 star hotel. We don’t eat certain fish or seafood and random fishes were added to our plate that were not on the menu. I like to have an iron in the room. Although they offer a laundry service, certain things I prefer to do myself since some items may be delicate. We heard a dog from the room next door. Toiletries are only replenished in the evening and I like when they are replenished in the morning and evening. Specially, since we showered multiple times because of the heat, beach and pool. The bed was a bit hard. The bed cover was red and old. Should be updated. The bathroom was updated but not luxurious (example: basic tiles as opposed to marble, etc)

One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve ever stayed in, everything perfect, the private beach, the staff, the decor and the atmosphere.
let down by the breakfast which was overpriced and almost always the incorrect order. It wouldn’t put me off returning though.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Le Maquis. It’s a charming and cozy hotel right on the beach. It's beautifully decorated and filled with lovely antiques and interesting artwork and photos. The staff were superb and we felt we were with family!

A place filled with French atmosphere, tradition and timeless stories,of great class. The small bay and the lively garden offer a true oasis of peace and fresh energy.Great facilities and amenities-in the rooms, as well as in the surrounding complex.Perfect for honeymooners, romantic escapes, relaxing breaks.
The team was very welcoming, but missing a bit of a personal approach, probably due to the short interval that we have chosen to stay. The restaurant is rather traditional,of very high quality but overrated, considering the large offer of high quality gastronomy in the proximity of the capital.
