Comfy beds, clean, good location and lovely staff.
We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa and there was only a small 3 seater sofa for 4 guests when the lounge area had plenty of room to fit another sofa which was a shame. Also I think a few more basic provisions should be provided given the price paid, such as additional dish cloths, tea towels and hand towels as we only had one of each for a 3 night stay.

Nice site. We were not there long enough to give a fair evaluation but the hut was nice, bed comfortable and we had everything we needed.
Nothing.

Convenient location. Staff good.
Very expensive considering it is just a small cabin. Got everything i.e. kitchen, bed, table, and sliding door to shower toilet. but very small area. floor not cleaned very well as we found a plastic bottle top by the bed and had to clean the mugs with salt to get rid of previous ring of coffee on the inside.
OK it was just prior to Christmas, but $300 per night over the top.

The grounds are beautiful, very tranquil. The staff very helpful. Great location. Comfortable room.
1) The no visitor rule made it awkward when my friend arrived early to pick me up and I requested him to meet me at the cottage and a staff member asked why he was there. The reason he was not staying with me is because there are no animals allowed and therefore he chose to camp.
2) Hot water ran out after a couple of minutes every time I tried to shower. Challenging when trying to wash one’s hair.

The location to central Byron Bay was excellent and we loved the shortcuts. The grounds of Glen Villa were perfectly groomed and inviting. The room that was visible was clean and I was impressed by the clean kitchen area. We also appreciated the fly screens. The cabin also had a good working smart TV! However, there were things that you could have improved....
A family of cockroaches lives underneath the shower recess (in the floor) and we had to 'deal' with them nightly i.e. use a lot of bug spray. The bathroom door doesn't close properly and didn't have a working lock to lock the door. This was very disappointing and should have been fixed by maintenance prior to our arrival. A toilet door is not like a normal door you can just leave not working - people need privacy when they are on the toilet. Our cabin was right next door to the pathway for people to get to the amenities block which meant that we had people walking back and forth past our cabin twenty-four-seven. This was not ideal and I would have preferred a cabin in a different location. Both my friend and I had bed bug bites from the bedding, so I would recommend a really hot wash to get them out.

The huts were cute, comfortable and quiet. Birds, frogs and crickets made up the night noises. Very relaxing. It was dark, too, which I liked. Many caravan parks have too much lighting for my liking, but this was more peaceful and natural. The gardens were very well-kept with beautiful ferns on the palm trees near the camp kitchen.
There was only one microwave in the camp kitchen, which offen had a queue at meal times. The toilets smelt bad.

Staff were friendly and accommodating, we had only booked for a 1 night stop over and fell in love with Byron Bay and wanted to stay on. Our room was booked out but they were able to quickly reshuffle and book us in for another night.
We stayed in the little hut, it's cute, compact and clean and more than enough space for 2 ppl on a short stay.
The whole complex was very clean including shared toilets /bathrooms.
A very short walk to the main street and beach. Highly recommend this place
The door of the hut is a flywire door with a curtain. Probably refreshing in the peak of summer but I was a bit cold, having said that I'm always cold. Bring warmer pj's and it's fine

Location, space, staff were great. We were upgraded to a cabin which was fantastic and much appreciated
A bit too close to a neighbouring beach hut meant it was a bit noisy one night when our neighbours sat outside drinking till late
4.1
It was very close ,within walking distance to the centre of Byron ‘s shops/cafe/ cinema
A lovely park setting
Our cabin was a little smaller than we expected, with very limited cooking pots, cooking tools etc .Hot water very slow to come through

Friendly communication,
Heater worked nicely which was nice this time of year! Cool little pool view from our room.
Decent price for our quick overnight pit stop
I’m not a huge fan of those sticky shower curtains that never seem to work (bathroom gets drenched)
Seemed to be a few quite intoxicated people roaming around the park (although we realised later it was splendour weekend)
4.1
Location perfect close to everything
A little dated but given the price it’s pretty decent

The beds were comfy and the little portable aircon had a kick. The location was also great only a few minutes walk from the bus terminal. Bathrooms were clean the whole time I was there which was great.
The huts only had a screen door and a curtain so you could hear literally every breath from the people around you. Bit expensive for a metal box with two beds and no solid door but it did the job.
4.1
The heating worked well which was well needed in July. The location is just a short work from shops and restaurants.
Compared to other similar places we stayed this was more on the expensive side for what it was. For friends sharing the bed was a little too small. It probably didn't help our overall impression that we got the cottage right opposite the entrance and reception. Will ask to be a little further back next time.
4.1
Quiet park with parking right outside the cabin.
We had been on the road for a week, and the wife wanted a spa. Paid extra for a spa cabin, and on the second night, she had the chance to get in, but when she turned it on, the button popped out and it wouldn't work. Very disappointing. (No offer of refund when I spoke to staff).
Also, the bathroom fan didn't work, and who puts an air conditioner in the bathroom???
