Really enjoyed our stay here. The staff, without exception, were both friendly and helpful. Our evening meal and breakfast were both really good. A lovely homely pub in a great location. Within walking distance of the town & beach

Location! Great to be in a quaint village away from the hustle & bustle of Porthcawl!
4.3
Friendly staff, nice vibe to the pub, with a nice outside sitting area. The food was good and reasonably priced.
Comfortable bed and pillows. Warm shower. Room had everything we needed.
Rooms were tired and beige. they definitely need updating. Location was further away from Porthcawl than I first thought. Took ua about 30 minutes to walk there, but it was a perfect location for Rest Bay.
4.3
Perfect location. Close to M4 and is a short walk to two other pubs. Easy walk into Porthcawl. Restaurant was good and breakfast was great.
This is more of a warning rather than a dislike as I had read previous reviews that mentioned this. If you go to your room before the pub closes except it to be noisy.

Great atmosphere, delicious food and the staff were amazing, they were all so helpful which made our stay so enjoyable. I was there with my husband and a group of friends and we all agreed that we’d definitely stay again. Thank you!
I couldn’t fault it for the price, well done!

Breakfast was nice but expensive for what I had
I'm a cold person and I found the rooms very cold I was cold all night in bed and had no extra bedding and no heating on in bathroom

The staff are so friendly, and the b&b is so cosy, and beautiful.
The beds were a little uncomfortable, but that could be personal preference. Xxx
