Ottimo hotel in un paese molto bello

Ottimo hotel a gestione familiare nel centro di Scilla. Personale gentilissimo e colazione ottima con vari dolci fatti in casa

Bene ma non benissimo

- posizione abbastanza centrale; - colazione abbastanza buona con marmellate casalinghe e torte fresche e uova sode* - rapporto qualità prezzo abbastanza buono; - ragazza della reception molto gentile e disponibile.

L'arredamento con un miscuglio di stili diversi, Il letto non è stato rifatto bene, forse anche per la fretta di farci trovare la camera pronta. In generale le camere avrebbero bisogno di una ristrutturata. * Uova troppo cotte, peccato.

Familiengeführtes kleines Hotel

Die Unterkunft ist ein familiengeführtes, kleines Hotel. Das Hotel liegt im oberen Teil der Stadt. Den Strand und den kleinen Hafen kann man mit einem Spaziergang gut erreichen. Parken konnten wir kostenlos vor der Tür. Man kann aber auch einen Parkplatz in der Garage anmieten. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Es war etwas hellhörig. Hier und da konnte man Gebrauchsspuren an der Einrichtung sehen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir waren deutlich vor der Check-in-Zeit vor Ort. Die Gastgeber haben uns sehr pragmatisch ein bereits verfügbares Zimmer und damit ein kostenloses Upgrade gegeben. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut.

My first time in Scilla

Very nice Hotel . Host very gentle and helpful. Upgraded our room free to a superior with terrace. Quiet area with parking and walking distance to all attractions

Some good, some bad.

The room was clean and quiet with a nice view.

In our month of travel in Italy this was the only hotel or B&B that set bottled water out in the room for you and then, without notice, charged for it when you left. The reception staff recommended 2 restaurants for dinner but both were closed on Mondays. He recommended the lift between the upper and lower town but neglected to say it closed early.

A lovely stay.

This is a lovely hotel in the upper region of Scilla. Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed. breakfasts were good and staff were always helpful. Nicoletta, one of the family members, was outstanding in her communication and friendliness. we greatly appreciated the pick up/drop off at the train station, as we had heavy bags.

Being in the upper area of the town was a disadvantage sometimes, as the elevator only operates from 9-6pm. It also closes during ripose for a couple of hours. The steps are doable, but they are steep and one needs a relatively good level of fitness.

Just one night and breakfast next morning was everything we needed

Easy to find comfortable, clean and very lovely staff.

There was a low ceiling which caused a knock on the head but that was all.

wonderful stay

Very friendly family run hotel. hospitable and welcoming. breakfast was very good, breakfast area a little small which is typical of small hotel. located on the upper side of the town. didn’t mind the walk up after dinner at the lower part of town. parking was amole when i was there in December. safe street parking.

Great stay and a lovely quiet area. Glad of our choice.

The host provided a lovely buffet breakfast which was excellent. Full choice of yoghurt, fresh fruit ,fresh bread croissants etc etc. Proper cappuccino and also fruit juice etc. It was really impressive and plenty to choose from. Parking was so close and easy. Nicolleta welcomed us at reception. She speaks good English and spent time telling us about the area. Our dog was made welcome too. Would definitely return. Excellent hosts. This hotel is a jewel and well worth a stopover.

Exceptional

It didn't look much upon our arrival but we absolutely loved this hotel. Family run by mum, dad and two daughters I think. Bedroom 302 was spotless. Super comfy bed and a great view from rhe balcony. The big plus for me was both daughters spoke excellent English and were a huge help with suggestions and bookings. They really did go above and beyond which made our stay all the more comfortable. Thank you very much. I cannot recommend this little hotel highly enough.

A good find in Scilla

Well positioned with easy parking on the road. Our room was comfortable and loved the open views to the sea. The staff were all very helpful and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Next time in Calabria will include Scilla, and this place as well.

Very friendly staff, supportive with booking problems (my fault) even in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, we received all the necessary information about the interesting places in Scilla and how to get there. Just ask them where to get the best pesce spada panini in town... ♥♥ The location is in a quiet part of the village, but within walking distance of all places you should visit. They also offer transportation (or will organize it for you), but that should not even be necessary. (Note that the hotels close to the beach are also close to the train station and the SS18 - all neatly packed between the beach and the steep ascent to the upper level of Scilla) Nice, clean and functional room and we certainly enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. ♥

We should have stayed longer - but at times re-planning is just not possible anymore...

wonderful and charming place. we felt welcome from the very first moment we checked in. maria's tipp "how to explore Calabria in one day" was excellent. tasty breakfast buffet; I recommend their homemade marmelade with uva fragola :-) looking forward to coming back!
