Beautiful view and well equipped apartment

Well equipped apartment with beautiful view and plenty food for breakfast. The host was very responsive and generous.

The bed is a little firm and it could benefit from a topper.

La signora Silvana ci ha accolti benissimo, l'appartamento è in un'ottima posizione un po' disagiato quando si arriva per via delle stradine con i ciottoli e per il fatto di avere dei trolley ma poi dopo è tutto facilmente raggiungibile, spiaggia e paese. La casa era molto pulita e c'era tutto per un'ottima colazione anche con ottima torta fatta in casa gentilmente offerta. Veduta dalle camere sul mare spettacolare Chianalea è un posto magico con le sue stradine e le piattaforme che si affacciano sul mare con ristoranti da provare.

Exceptional, fabulous apartment with stunning views, well located to explore Scilla.

We loved everything! The stunning views across the bay to Sicily, the apartment's homely feel, lots of little touches to make each room feel warm and special. A very comfy bed & extra blankets if needed. Many and varied options for breakfast, from cereal to yoghurts, bread, toast, biscuits etc. and of course home made cake that Silvana brought for us on day 1. Yum. An umbrella ready in case it rained (it didn't!). A village map to help us explore Scilla. A very well equipped kitchen and bathroom too. Lovely walks in all directions to explore Scilla. Bar & restaurants close by, and many more along past the port and towards the beach & lower town (the flattest route, just go down hill from the apartment). Find the lift to upper Scilla near Bar Roxy and go for a coffee on the piazza with yet more more amazing views.

Luogo incantevole, appartamento pulitissimo e curato in ogni minimo particolare, sia dal punto di vista funzionale che estetico. La signora Silvana è un'ospite eccezionale. Consigliatissimo.

Scilla is a fantastic place to visit and stay for a few days.. but if you do it staying in this house it will be just magical.. The house is fully equipped and the view from the two bedrooms is fabulous Silvana is a warm and super attentive host.. you will love it !

Will be staying longer next time for sure

It was just beautiful. The host Silvana was very accommodating and even made us a cake which was not wasted. The apartment was clean and the location was perfect.

Excellent value for the location and amenities

Location, location, location. The rooms had a/c, which we didn't need but in the summer it will be necessary. Loved the snacks and drinks along with the cake that were already at the apartment and the quick communication with Silvia.

The main bed was very hard and uncomfortable.

Excellent apartment in a wonderful location

The apartment was overlooking the sea with a little balcony, big enough for 2 people to sit out and have a drink. The flat was spacious with all the amenities you might expect and a perfect location in the old town. We ate in a restaurant recommended by our host which was wonderful, again overlooking the sea and we saw a gorgeous sunset. The food was delicious and the menu very reasonably priced. Our host was extremely helpful and very friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

Scilla was the highlight of our Italy-trip! We truly enjoyed to stay in the beautiful place of Piana della galee. The view is fantastic, close to the water so you will hear the waves. Silvana and her family are such kind and caring hosts! We were lucky to have dinner at De Angelis, (which was delicate) but the apartment also has a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need to make dinner. We are already thinking about when we could go back to Calabria and this beautiful place in Scilla!

The house is super comfy and you will find everything you need there for a nice vacation or a simple stopover! It’s placed in a super cute village (just 10m walking from an amazing beach) and the host helped us parking the car near the BB and in a free spot! We got freshly backed croissants for breakfast and an amazing sea view!!! totally recommend it!!! Thanks again for everything!

Amazing place, with beautiful views of the sea, great apartment and I even got fresh croissants for breakfast, and many other things, just loved it and wish I had stayed longer, next time I will! Thanks so much! I also took the recommendation to go for dinner to Patriaca and had great fresh fish. Looking forward to going again!

Great overnight stay prior to taking the ferry to Sicily

Wonderful spot overlooking the sea in Scila. Host was a lovely lady and very helpful. It was bit confusing regarding parking overnight but we sorted it out in the end.

This was a relaxing stay for our whole family in a beautiful apartment! I can highly recommend it!

Cleanliness, comfort, quiet location with beautiful see view and closeness to restaurants and bars. Our host, Silvana, baked us a delicious cake for breakfast but most important, she gave us information for our further journey, this helped us so much! Thank you very much Silvana!

Fantastic location, lovely hostess, absolutely spotless and great breakfast included.

Great location on the old part of town, the house is spacious with sea views from both bedrooms and absolutely spotless. Silvana is a lovely host and very accommodating! She left us a breakfast cake and biscuits and that’s on top of the already well stocked breakfast facilities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I would definitely return and recommend.

I was disappointed

I stayed in this apartment for 11 nights. I stayed in this apartment for 11 days in September and October and there was a construction noise just meters away from my balcony which ruined my vacation. I had to leave the apartment at 7am because of the noise and go to the beach to sleep. Three days they didn't come and I enjoyed a quiet peaceful time with my daughter who came to visit. Later when I complained about the noise the owners didn't want to take responsibility of it yet said it only happened 3 days when in reality it was 9 and I have proof of it. It's a shame because the apartment is lovely but the construction noise was just unbearable.
