AC-ul a mers perfect, am avut aparat de tantari in camera, wi-fi-ul a functionat bine.
Intrarea nu e la strada, e prin spate si cand ajungi noaptea nu e f usor de gasit, dar nu e chiar o mare problema. Staff-ul nu prea vorbeste engleza, dar cu aplicatii de traducere ne-am descurcat.

Excellent breakfast and location.
It is not very convenience for none-Chinese citizens. Hotel stopped currency exchange service. Restaurants don't accept US credit cards' payment. You have to bring sufficient cash (Chinese) with you. The banks near the hotel don't provide cash exchange service either. Only way to make the changes is with some private brokers (which is illegal in China) who stand in front of banks. No ATM machine service either.

Check in at Holiday Inn Aqua City was bit clumsy but staff quickly offered me complimentary breakfast which was a nice gesture. While Holiday Inn is part of American Hotel Group evidently this property has more local Chinese mainlander customer as not many staff from service center, waiters, breakfast chef, room services have the ability to speak/understand basic English. This itself isn't a poor experience overall, but my expectation was indeed higher given that I did choose to stay in an international hotel chain not a local China hotel group. Nevertheless, the staff was very polite, patience and dedicated to provide their upmost best quality of service during my stay at Aqua City, this includes helping me navigate the complexity of Chinese apps registration, how to get to tourist spots via metro or walking distance. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I will not hesitate to return again in the future.
The swimming facilities was outsourced to a third-party provider and usage was complimentary to hotel guest. However, i was given a half-a swimming towel instead of a full towel. I thought that was hilarious but also a reflection on how just because your hotel facilitates is "outsourced" the quality of the delivery is still in my view a joint responsibility with Holiday Inn's to manage, supervise or co-exist as its co-branded together.

Staff is nice. Excellent location.
A little bit cold during the night. No heating, unfortunately.

Upon arrival, hotel upgraded our room. Staff was friendly and polite when we make our other requests.
Housekeeping lady was friendly and helpful too.
Food items more on local delights. Not much variety for foreigners.

The location, near the Confucius Temple, was very good. The neighbourhood was reasonably quiet late at night. Room and ensuite was good size and kept very clean.
The two restaurants in the hotel weren't great. The French Restaurant, not only was the food poor, they expected us to have a Chinese app on our mobiles to pay for the meal. They refused to accept Mastercard/Visa or put it on our room tab. Eventually they accepted cash but very reluctantly. Rooms were very warm and we were told the temperature could not be lowered as it was centrally controlled. It made sleeping very difficult.

The staff is super helpful and kind. I was originally given a room that had some maintenance issues and they swiftly resolved the problem and upgraded me. Very happy with my stay here.

Arrived early and was checked in early with free upgrade - spacious room, with all practical amenities. Maybe somewhat outdated for some people, but be reminded that this is a 4-star facility.
Well-located as part of a shopping mall (with lower ground food court, and upper floor restaurants in the next building), 5-min walk to MTR Confucius Temple, and to the immensely popular Qinhuai River Scenic Area.
My original booking included breakfast, which was a pleasant surprise - with good spread and (Chinese) variety. I tried some local dishes with hot soup, both savory and sweet, as I wish to know what locals would have for breakfast. The duck soup and the duck (local specialty) were both good :)
AC was controlled probably by the central system. A little warm for me personally, and wondering if the room would be overheated in winter.

I loved the executive room was clean and cozy, nice staff could speak English fluently esp a guy named Allen . it has access to Agua plaza, you could find everything there! free parking also provided and nice breakfast. all in all was good experience.
in the parking (near the elevator the advertising speaker was so loud and annoying)

Hotel a bit outdated but comfortable. Location is very convenient. Breakfast is so so, very basic.

Second time visit very comfortable
Security need better training. My spouse momentarily stepped outside the hotel and then when stepped back inside the guard yelled, insisting to see the health code again despite the room key being shown.

The property's located closely to Fuzi temple. The staffs are very nice that they helped me upgrade the room and offered me a free breakfast ticket.

Bathroom needs renovation update

Great location connected to the mall with lots of options. Good hotel but pricey for how dated it is
The rooms look exactly the same as they did my last stay 6 years ago. It's getting to be shabby now and could use some upgrades. Especially the bathroom. Breakfast was ok but could be more foreign friendly and fresher. The staff were not aware of how to deal with a foreigner and treated me as though I brought the virus in with me. Despite the fact that I've been in the country for 7 months. It was eventually sorted by the 4th member that came to help. But was very inconvenient.

Excellent breakfast and litery.
Poor WIFI quality.

Great location, great and friendly staff, clean and comfortable. A popular wedding location, enjoyed seeing in the lobby the picture of the wedded couple of the day haha

Location was convenient to get to where I wanted to go. The price was reasonable for what you got.
Overpriced services and food. Service people - although they were kind, I was a little disappointed . For example room service. I live in Beijing quite humbly. And I rarely treat myself to luxury experiences. I needed a few days to relax. One morning- I wanted my breakfast in my room. I tried calling concierge but no one picked up. So I had to go downstairs to main desk to order. There were people at front desk- not busy. So I don’t know what happened. It also would have been nice to have a small store to buy snacks or basics.
