The room was large, so was the shower. All the staff were great, especially housekeeping, and a special mention has to go to Mr. Charles Hao, the executive vice general manager whose English was very good and who went above and beyond. Breakfast was amazing, a huge choice.
There was no dedicated bar.

如果服务态度和主动性有个标准的话,那南京大酒店就是这个标准的标杆。非常体贴周到,想客人所想。
洗澡时造音太大

Very nice rooms. I didn't expect it. Wish I could have stayed longer.
All good.

Very central location. Room was very comfortable, staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely.
The swimming pool and gym facilities are lovely but fairly tiny. There is one changing room for each gender and you have to walk through the fitness room to get to the pool. There was no lifeguard or anyone in the vicinity - a possible safety hazard.
I had a room on the inside of the semi-circle so I didn’t have a proper window but instead had a balcony overlooking the breakfast room. The room was still bright but not the view I was hoping for.

a little pricey - the facilities outside the room werent quite as good

Staff very, rooms clean, breakfast very good value
Nothing to really shout about. Hotel is a bit dated but that adds to its charm

The room and bathroom, while old and dated, is exceptionally clean. Breakfast was lovely with a huge range of choice. Location was perfect. However there are loads of similarly priced hotels in this central location so I dont think the negatives of this hotel make it worth it's price.
I had one of the worst weekend sleeps here. The room has a balcony which overlooks the inside of the hotel, facing down to where they serve breakfast, so the artificial light from there makes the rooms, which have extremely low ceilings feel really claustrophobic. The noise from breakfast in the morning is also unbearably loud, echoing around like the noise in swimming pools. The flush in the bathroom is very weak, not ideal for 2 people sharing a room. The wifi is shockingly bad. The door opens into the bathroom area which I didnt really care about but it's still weird. When we were checking in the receptionist convinced us to pay ¥50 per night to upgrade our room as the one we booked was, according to her, very small and badly decorated which I just thought was unbelievably cheeky on the hotel's part. If a room isn't suitable it shouldn't be online to book in the first place. All in all a really poor experience.

This was the second time we stayed and it wasn’t as good as last time. There was confusion with the rooms, but it was sorted quickly, but the room wasn’t as spacious or as nice as the last one (paid more this time).
Couple of times we had issues with the room card not working, a cleaning lady came in whilst we were getting ready (do not disturb button wasn’t working).
We were higher up then last time, and the floor was noisier.
Again, no issues with the staff as they were all polite, but the first stay was much better & worth the money.

Room design, comfort and value for money.

The deluxe twin room was nice and spacious. The bathrooms were well kept, very clean, and very pretty. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Didn’t have breakfast, but the lunch spread was good and had a lot of options, very few vegetarian tho.
The room temperature was pretty warm, tried to change it with the thermostat but wasn’t working. Also wanted to take a bath, but the bathtub stopper wasn’t working so the tub wasn’t filling up.
