In the middle of hills, there is a beautiful lodge/mini-hotel where you can hang out and play games, sled and slide, hike, and eat & drink.
The power went out on us for a night. But, we fortunately brought lanterns, used the fireplace, and melted snow to flush the toilets.
We rebooked for next year.

This cabin was amazing! Modern amenities but the rural and isolation to get away! The cabin was clean and spacious! Unfortunately some of party couldn't attend so the place was even more spacious! We were able to see the stars for 2 nights and then we got about 4 inches of snow over the next!
Highly recommend!

Second time here. Great spot. Super quiet. House is great. Can't go wrong

For starters, the place is incredibly clean. The amenities cover everything you should need. Communication with the owner was excellent and his responsiveness was better than we could hope for. The location is remote and the home is rustic but modern. We literally could not have asked for anything better for our holiday destination gathering for our family that is in multiple locations around the country. Would stay here again, no question!

This is a beautiful log home retreat. Enjoyed just relaxing on the huge wrap-around porch.
Lots of things to do such as hiking, bird watching" Eagle perched in tree by pond", and golfing.
Great place to stay. Planning to return next year.

Luxury cabin nestled back in the Wilds of PA. Tons of room for all of our family. Everyone enjoyed the immaculate accommodations. Lightly rained the entire time we were there, but with plenty of room inside and tons of outdoor covered deck space, we still had a great time. The location is quite rural (just what we were looking for as long-time visitors of the Black Forest area in PA), so be prepared. Sam was easy to communicate with and the check-in/check-out process was very simple. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat... with everything you could possibly want in a house.

We had the best week that was well earned by all of us. The house was perfect. Enough room for everyone to have their own space. So clean and inviting.

This house is absolutely stunning. The deck was great for star gazing and the kids had a blast sitting around the fire. Saw 2 bear at the pond on the first night. The dog really loved playing in Prouty Run. Weather was hot two days but the fans and open windows helped cool things down at night. Had a great time and everything we needed was there with the house. Highly recommend.

Property manager was easy to communicate with and was great at answering questions pre, during, and post stay. House is awesome. Like that they have basic kitchen spices and basic condiments left in house from previous stays. Supplying firewood foe awesome fireplace that will make you sweat when it's 20 degrees outside is awesome. The best surprise not listed is the heated floors in the house. Best place I have stayed at in the area. Can't go wrong.

Absolutely fabulous! The house is filled with light, beautifully furnished, and everything used in the house is of the best quality. The kitchen has fantastic appliances, top of the line utensils, pots and pans.

This property and home were both wonderful. Definitely out in the middle of nowhere, but we were happy to be away from the hustle and bustle of life for a little while. The house is well kept and clean, and check in and out was super simple. Thanks Sam!

Our family enjoyed a long holiday weekend together. Foggy, cloudy nights prevented our stargazing plans from coming to pass but there was plenty of hiking and scenery to keep us busy otherwise.

Great for family vacations
My extended family took a trip together (ages 3m-63) and we all loved the stay and plan to come back! The home was clean, well organized, well stocked with what we needed. There is plenty of room for everyone and we all enjoyed the game room and the beautiful wrap around porch. We saw bears galore, deer, fox, and turtles. The weather was gorgeous and even though the heat index hit 85 for two days of our stay, we stayed cool in the basement and using all the fans. The neighbors are friendly too! Thanks again for sharing your home!

Spectacular Stargazing
Stayed here for a quiet weekend away with my parents, sibling, our partners, and our dog (6 humans + 1 dog). The house and property were lovely--spacious, clean, and functional. The property manager was helpful and responsive to my questions. The only way our stay could have been improved is with with comfort of the mattresses--they are quite firm, though we realize everyone has different preferences for firmness. We made sure to bring and/or pick up any groceries on the way in as the nearest grocery store is about 25 minutes away. We appreciated all the kitchenwares, the extra beverage refrigerator in the garage, the ping-pong and air hockey tables, ceiling and/or floor fans in the rooms, the bidets, and the super comfortable zero gravity lounge chairs. The highlight was the huge wraparound porch--partially covered and partially uncovered so we could move in and out from the sun. We booked this location for stargazing and it did not disappoint!
