The apartment was beautiful and even larger than it appeared in photos. The terrace was enormous and had a stunning view of the surrounding area and ocean, as well as lots of very nice outdoor furniture to lounge on. Viri the apartment manager was lovely and accommodating to our delayed arrival, and owners Steve and Sophie were very communicative. Two minor notes, the hot water heater for the master bathroom didn't work during our stay. We notified Viri about it and she offered to send someone over to fix it the next day, but we were only there for three days and the hot water in the other shower worked so we told her not to worry about it for us. Hopefully that is now fixed! Unrelated to the apartment itself but just to keep in mind about its location, it is located at the top of a large hill that takes around 7-8 minutes to drive up, and only has a sidewalk during the first quarter or so. We had a rental car that we used for getting around La Paz during the day, but when we wanted to go out at night we used Uber. Uber drivers were hit and miss with whether they wanted to drive up the hill to pick us up, one night we couldn't get anyone to come up, one night we got a driver after a few passed, and the last night we decided to just walk down to the main drag since it was still daylight and get an Uber from there. Fortunately we never had any issues with getting an Uber to drop us back off, but it's something to keep in mind if you don't have your own car and/or don't want to force someone to be DD for the evening. We admittedly did not try to use any taxi services, just Uber. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay again, hopefully next time for longer!

Great property delivered just as advertised. Large rooftop patio with great views of the city and waterfront. Full kitchen and outside barbeque if not wishing to eat out. Gated community only a short drive to restaurants and the waterfront Malecon.

Briefly - Beautiful view but owners must think that renters must pay for all their maintenance. We had a number of issues that inconvenienced us, such as pipes bursting in 2nd bathroom which meant we couldn't use for 2 days and door handle breaking off. In addition, the water pressure and hot water was terrible and resulted in a plugged toilet. All these resulted in an extra bill to my credit card to cover costs and labor. Not to mention, charging me for paint for a wine stain and we didn't even have wine or anything red in the unit. I wrote a response to them and have heard nothing. So, as my review title says, watch your credit card because these owners want their renters to cover everything, including use and wear and tear. Also to note, no remotes for DVD or TV in Second bedroom so these didn't work and be sure to duck because of the nails in spare bedroom bunkbed.

The location is perfect and safe. The view is spectacular and it has the most beautiful sunset view. The person in charge was always available via phone but did not get to meet her; her daughter greeted us instead. The place was spacious, had A/C and the terrace was very spacious. There’s a community pool, but seemed like it hadn’t been clean for a couple of days when we got there. The only thing we had issues with was the tv in the small room, we couldn’t figure it out. Overall our stay was pleasant and met our expectations.

We had lovely time at Steve & Sophie’s spacious condo with panoramic views. Helpfully furnished and a few minutes from downtown La Paz. Would definitely recommend staying here!!!

This property was impeccably clean. However, there were enough little things wrong that we probably won't stay again. Here is some of our issues. 1. Towels were old. 2. Beach towels not available until 3rd day of 4 day stay. 3. Blinds are not in working order. 4. Some lights did not work. 5. No coffee or tea available. 6. The master bed is extremely high. A small stable stool would have been appreciated for those that are vertically challenged. 7. We did not appreciate the changes in floor levels in the Master Suite. 8. The deck has a lot of sun exposure and not enough shade to escape to when needed. 9. Cabinet hardware is degrading (falling apart) throughout the house. One cabinet door fell off. 10. The shower head needs to be cleaned of build up because the flow is wonky. 11. There were no extra blankets (that we could find) to sit comfortably outside on a sunny but windy day or on a cool morning. 12. Evacuation plan in case of fire or earthquake is not provided. During our stay we felt very safe (gate with a guard) and enjoyed the view. The deck/outside area is phenomenal. However, we had some windy chilly days and it was hard to enjoy without blankets. I can't imagine staying at this place in the summer when the sun would be blazing and the only relief would be the stationary tarp. At this price point, we think we could do better. Major kudos to the cleaning staff. However, we probably won't be back.

Really nice, clean place. The outdoor terrace and being on the top (6th) floor was the tru value of this property and was perfect for two of us with comfortable outdoor furniture and dining area. Good kitchen with pots, pans and utensils. Really enjoyed our stay.

This property was perfect for our stay in La Paz. The views could not be beat and the penthouse is well appointed and very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

The property was was definitely as advertised. The only things we didn’t expect was the elevator only going to the 5th floor, and the property was on the 6th floor. The person checking us in didn’t speak English, which wasn’t a problem as long you have WhatsApp. The final thing was there wasn’t any bar soap in either of the bathrooms.

The views are amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Owners very helpful and quick with communication. The balcony is spectacular. Plenty of clean towels and linens provided. Water pressure was a bit low. We would definitely stay here again!!

We were supposed to stay here last year but due to the pandemic we had to reschedule twice. However, we were finally able to make it this April and it did not disappoint. The property was fabulous and the view couldn’t have been any better! We spent mornings and some evenings out on the balcony enjoying the view and nice warm breeze. The view from the master shower was amazing! We had everything we needed in this condo. We had a pleasant surprise finding beach chairs and umbrellas as well as a cooler to use for our beach trip. We only had a couple hiccups that really wasn’t too big of a deal. One, we ran out of water on our second day(I think it was our second day) but it was quickly filled back up. This is common in La Paz as it’s not the same as in the US. There is a shortage there and water has to be used sparingly. Two, the parking spot is shared with the neighbor in the second MPH suite, which the person who checked us in didn’t really tell us they just told us someone was in it and we’d have to reach out to the owner. The neighbor was nice and we only had to move once so he could park his jet ski. My daughter(21 years old) did say the bed in the second bedroom was super uncomfortable and woke up with some aches the next day. We were able to find some stuff to help make it more comfortable for her though. Lastly the trash can in the kitchen is small and no other trash bags were provided so we had to manage without any extras. These were all minor things that didn’t really interfere with our stay. My family and I really loved our stay here and would love to come back. Thank you for letting us stay in your home away from home!

Great but partial smelly

This was a very nice property with an amazing view of la Paz. Dogs in the neighborhood were a little loud at times and there were no trash bags. I would recommend it to anyone. The property manager nazar was extremely helpful. It has to have one of the best views in all of la Paz.

Our girls loved the full size buck beds and having their own closet space and bathroom. The master suite was wonderful, we felt miles away from our teenagers. The big windows everywhere to bring in the views! Showering late afternoon with the sun shining through. The Sea of Cortez will stay with us forever. The kitchen had almost everything we needed. We purchased a blender for smoothies. The stove is a bit tricky but we figured it out. The Restaurants in La Paz were all fantastic and just a quick 5 min drive down the hill. There are amazing beaches to visit all within a 20 min drive. We felt safe out and about in La Paz. The locals and condo residents were very friendly & helpful. Just a few things: If you are sensitive to noise: Lots of dogs barking in surrounding neighborhoods and the wind bangs up against the windows and terrace umbrella. You get use to it easily by just relaxing! Water issue shortage in the building but was resolved quickly. Our toilets got backed up often but we just put TP in waste baskets, plunged and tried to space out our timing of use. We used the pool water to help flush when water was out. The pool was cold at this time of year (Dec 23-Jan 6) but the beaches were amazing! Shallow cool water. Also when we were home at the condo we really just wanted to be on the terrace. Pack layers for the chilly early mornings and evenings. Enjoy everything La Paz has to offer. This is the place to stay!

The penthouse has spectacular views over La Paz and the Sea of Cortez from everywhere including the shower. Very comfortable and well equipped and has an enormous terrace. We had a great time there and highly recommend it.

Oh how we wish we could have stayed longer... forever maybe!?! Obviously the best part of this condo itself is the terrace. We could easily get used to living like this... in fact everyone should have a terrace like this wherever they live. But it’s not just the terrace, the entire penthouse offers an unparalleled level of creature comfort. The master bedroom and bath scream luxury. Can’t say we’ve ever had a shower quite so spectacular. The king size bed is especially comfy and the panoramic view... well you just have to see it for yourself. Amazing views, even at night. On a side note, whoever built/designed this place definitely has a knack on how to use every nook and cranny. The use of and amount of storage is mind boggling. So yes staying in the MPH1 gave us a taste of the good life, we understand why many others have written that they felt “privileged” staying here. It’s true, the experience really can’t be better described.

Just a fabulous condo with gorgeous view of La Paz and the Sea of Cortez. Manuel was very helpful when we had a snafu with the internet, got it up and running . Easy access to drive to La Paz and beautiful beaches south of the city. The Malecon was hopping with Carnival. Very nice variety of restaurants, some fancy and sophisticated and some local charm. Sophie led us through the check in and check out process. A great horned owl visited us one night, perched on the corner of the patio and called to other owls, very nice

Absolutely worth it for the view, visible from every room. Everything as advertised except the internet. We had none during our stay, and nearly missed our whale shark trip because we missed the updates about leave time. Place was clean and really nice, but smelled quite musty when we arrived. We opened all the windows, and that helped for the rest of our stay. We loved being there so much, we only ate out once in La Paz, choosing instead to head back after a day out to cook at home and enjoy the privacy and the beautiful sunsets.

On the plus side the condo has a great location, has fantastic views of the city and bay, and has a wonderful outdoor living space. However several of the amenities listed were not as wonderful. The WiFi did not work at all. We heard that the cable system was being converted to fiber optic but it wasn't finished while we were there. This is not something the condo owner can control but we feel we paid for this amenity & didn't receive it. Communicating with family & friends during our stay was impossible. The listing says that satellite TV is in every room (actually the two bdrms) but the master TV did not display a picture so the DVD player couldn't be used, and the TV subscription service must have expired because no channels were available to view on either TV. There is a washer/dryer but only the washer works. A sign on the dryer says that it's broken. Yes, there is much more to a vacation in La Paz than WiFi and television - the beaches, whale sharks, restaurants & Malecon are all wonderful, but we were disappointed that several amenities that were listed (and important to us) were not working. Certainly when these issues are addressed this condo will be a great place to stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed staying at this property. The views from the massive private rooftop terrace are exceptional. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. The home is spacious and very clean. We loved this space so much that we have already rebooked. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about this place. It's a gated community, with parking, and then you go up to the top and look out over all of La Paz. The balcony is... there's no words for how beautiful it is. Every morning I woke up in a perfect bedroom with a perfect view. The master bed is tall and thick and I really liked it, huge walk in closets, adjoining bathroom with great view. Other bedroom has bunks and a trundle, bathroom and another huge closet. I want to live there. First rental I ever watched to buy..lol. Thank you for everything! Communication was great. Love La Paz.. plan for extra days.

This is a beautifully located condo. The outdoor living space and windows overlooking the city are quite magical. We had a great time. There are few things we wish we would have known about before hand or that can be done to improve one's stay: The washing machine was broken. We stayed long enough that we were expecting this to work. The wifi worked intermittently and not very well. Made for working quite difficult. There was no hot water in the second bathroom shower. The TV didn't have directions and was just about impossible to figure out. The manager came by one day and left it on. That is the only night it worked. I think first the service wasn't connected. The kitchen has very few pots/ pans/ cooking items. There were no additional sheets for the single bed. The towels were old and worn. Having to meet the property manager and be escorted in is a bit inconvenient when traveling, especially with kids. Upgrading these items would certainly make a more pleasant stay. La Paz is a beautiful, very friendly place. We'd love to come back. Thanks for renting your home!

We can confirm that all the nice things other people have talked about are true. Some others complained about construction noise in the area, but we didn't notice anything unusual. Dog barking yes, but that is typical all over Mexico. Uber transportation to and from the area was cheap (40-50 pesos o/w) and quick (0-5 minutes). The local contact person spoke fluent English and was quick to help and easy to contact. We look forward to our next stay here!

Very nice apartment with beautiful terrace and views. Terrace is nicely furnished and a delightful place to relax. Apartment and complex is secure and safe.

Needs to have property manager go thru rental and check for hygiene paper none in stock and more towels for the guests . Good place to stay would stay there again

The Ocean view in the terrace is amazing, the penthouse is so beautiful and confortable, the kitchen has everything you need. This is the first time we visited La Paz BCS and it was really an amazing experience!!
