The view from the appartment was amazing. Stuff was very kind and helpfull. But for me the shower was to tinym which wasn't comfortable.

The rooms have been fine and clean. The air condition worked well. The breakfast was really good.
The sun lounger around the pool were very limited and the available shade unsufficient. No parasols available and the bast mat used as shade are full of holes.

This place is absolutely charming with stunning views. Staff is helpful and friendly. The restaurant is top notch and there are also many fantastic places around to eat out.

The staff was very accommodating, friendly and happy to help. I was travelling with family, our rooms were close by and very clean. They were main floor rooms with parking right outside.
All diet restrictions were met. The service was amazing!

Incredible stay at this unique hotel. We went for the view, the pool and the breakfast, and we were not deceived.
The rooms are clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning, a relaxing shower, a huge fridge and even a small dishwasher and a washing machine. The location is perfect with a small supermarket just a few minutes away.
I recommend asking for a room on the 2nd floor of the buildings up the hill so you get the best view. We had room number 349 and it was lovely.
The staff was very accommodating during our stay.
Highly recommended!
The restaurant is good, but way overpriced for the quality of the food, although it is very well presented. We enjoyed not having to drive to enjoy dinner.

This was almost like five star hotel! Staff was excellent, view was wonderful and room was big. Breakfast was very tasty and there was lot of choices. I would definitely come here again. This is the place if you want relax and have excellent service.
Bed was hard.

The hotel is situated in a dreamy location. Overlooking Mattinata bay and surrounded by olive trees. The staff is helpful and polite. The apartment has everything one needs.

The staff was great. It is a very beautiful space for family and specially if you have kids. The view was amazing and the breakfast area as well.
The shower was very small that my husband who is tall and a big guy couldnt fit comfortably. As well there was a humidity smell in the room. And a lot of kids around and at the pool which wasnt very relaxing

We enjoyed this hotel quite a lot. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was great and we had dinner once which was also really nice. The view on the bay is really something we enjoyed, especially at breakfast and from the pool, and there are gorgeous beaches easily available by car (but I guess some depending on the season of travel). Private parking also nice to have. We recommend it.
The bed could be better (soft and noisy), and the shower was a bit small. But honestly it's ok, these are details and our stay was great.

We liked the location up on the hill and a big private garden that came with our room.
It was good to have a kitchennnete with the dishwasher, washing mashine a a microwave, so we could stay in and cook on some evenings.
There are a few restaurants on the seaside, though, overall, Mattinata is a small place and you will enjoy quiet evenings if it is what you are looking for.
The beach pass was discounted (20 euros even at the weekend in June 2022), and the beach (Gardino del Monsignore) itself was great, with good facilities and accommodating staff.
If you do not have a car and do not want to pay for the beach, you can walk down the hill to a public beach (up to 15 min).
Forest Umbra is about 45 min drive, with pleasant walks in shady beautiful woods.
Breakfast could be better, though, it had all essentials, the choice could be bigger. Fresh orange juice was watered down a few times, which was a bit disappointing.
You need a car to get to the beach as it is a long walk down the hill - it used be a shuttle before COVID, so you better check with the hotel, if it is back in service.
Swimming pool was more of a landshaft design feature than a facility to use.

Everything was great

Upon arrival we were upgraded to a room with a view to the sea. The sea and the view was magnificent. Very good rooms, Airy, clean, location is great, just near the sea shore. We had great time there and was sorry to leave.

great location and great staff. On site restaurant was wonderful.
didn’t realize property was locked up for the night. couldn’t get out to take care of our dogs who were relatively close at home. would have been fine if we were informed. little compassion.

Good value for money hotel. The view on Mattinata is awesome. Nice spot if you want to visit the Umbra forest and The sanctuary of San Michele Arcangelo. The breakfast was good as well.
The hotel forgotten to make up our room during our 2 nights stay. The towels are quite thin and not soft. Blanket minimal. Bed not very comfortable.

This property has absolutely great rooms with basically and literally everything that you need, including washing machine, microwave, dishwasher. Little patio in front of the little house and also covered patio behind the house where you can dry your swimsuit and wash the sand off! Delicious food for the dinner (although very small portions) with astonishing views, breakfast great - with variety and fruits. The Covid causes waiting lines, but the staff is very swift and efficient so no problem at all. They have private beach which is down the road, far for walking but 2 min with a car (free and spacious parking). They have shuttle bus but again for Covid this service was cancelled temporarily. The beach is rather crowded, but absolutely manageable, good beach bars and nice sea (usual Italian way, sunbed next to sunbed)..
The wifi in the room is very poor, shows strong signal but definitely not working properly. We did not complain as it was our vacations and little internet detox never killed anybody, but if we would be on home office it would be an issue. There is more then less times missing also the standard mobile signal, so not even standard internet would be working. Hard to get there, to and from beach if you don't have a car. (We had, so for us almost absolutely no negatives besides the wifi, and as I said, quieter vacations were a benefit for us (for me at least :)).
