Ospitalità e simpatia

L'accoglienza della signora Concetta che mi ha fatto sentire subito a mio agio. Inoltre mi ha indicato come poter raggiungere il centro di Palermo con i mezzi publici . Ed infine mi ha suggerito un buon ristorante per la sera a Mondello. È stato fantastico fare colazione insieme agli altri ospiti tutti insieme intorno ad un grande tavolo ovale , la colazione era ricchissima e buonissima . Lo sottolineo la signora Concetta è un ottima padrona di casa che mette a proprio agio i suoi ospiti. La camera era pulita ed aveva un letto matrimoniale con climatizzatore e frigo bar . Complimenti .

La signora che ci ha accolto è stata squisita. Ci ha consigliato e coccolato con la colazione abbondante e varia.

Non avevo inteso che il bagno fosse fuori dalla camera anche se era pulito e ben tenuto lo abbiamo condiviso con altre 2 camere.

Все дуже чудово

Приємне і затишне місце. Ми мали досить велику кімнату на родину з трьох осіб. Великий балкон з видом на гори та велике лимонне дерево яке рясніло від лимонів. На балконі є меблі ,столик. .Всюди чисто. Власниця дуже мила і приємна жінка. Що ранку організовувала смачні сніданки з капучіно і круасанами. Крім того ще були фруктові салати, сир..... Після сніданку голодним не лишився ніхто) Пішки до пляжу Mondello йти 15-20минут в залежності від того куди саме. Пляж великий. Багато кафе, піцерій. Доїхати до центру Palermo від місця проживання автобусом можна і в день і вночі. Подорож займає 1годину. Ціна проїзду 1.40€ в одну сторону. Не дивлячись що під час перебування погода зіпсулася нам все одно сподобалося. Дякуємо власниці за приємний відпочинок і за організацію трансферу до аєропорта за дуже демократичну ціну!

Maybe the location with small kids is a bit distant from the beach.

A relaxing retreat to a stunning part of Italy. Our hostess made finding gems near mondello easy!

Pleasant

Excellent breakfast and attentive host. Even that the host didn't speak english, she tried to answer our questions and help us. The location is quite good. It's 10 minutes away from the beach.

The toilet and bathroom were in a separate room. The bed mattress is very hard, it's like you're sleeping on planks. In addition, you can hear everything that happens on the floor. There is no sound insulation. And the fridge is so loud that I had to switch it off at night.

Nice B&B in Mondello with gentle host

Very nice host and clean rooms with a nice big balcony. Good italian breakfast with fresh fruit-salad, juices, joghurt & pastries. They also offer airport pick up. Good value for money and just 15 min walk from the beach.

that the unsuits washroom were outside in corridor but that was a minor thing for me.

Great breakfast, great service and clean rooms

The breakfast is awesome! The host, even if she did not spoke English or Spanish, we managed to get along with a mix of Spanish/Italian quite well. I really recommended this place if you have a car to go around or if you do not mind walking 10min to the beach. It felt like home. :)

If you don't have a car, the walking infrastructure is pretty much none existent, you have to take care of the cars coming by. (As everywhere in Palermo ;))

A wonderful host, wonderful Sicilian breakfast; very close the beach; overall 10/10

The breakfast was an INCREDIBLE Sicilian spread; warm brioche, delicious fresh fruit salad, coffee, pastries, yogurts and spreads - so much food that we didn’t need lunch. The host was also so kind and warm and looked after us 100%, but also never disturbed us if we were in our private rooom.

Great experience, would definitely return

I had a great stay at Il Girasole - will definitely be my first choice for accomodation next time I'm in Mondello! The staff was incredibly nice, very proactive in making my stay as pleasant as possible, even going as far as washing my clothes and giving me an umbrella for the beach. Thanks so much!

Wonderful

The host was amazing, she really made us feel welcome and let us leave the car and even have breakfast on our first day since we arrived really early. The breakfast was one of the best for me, as she prepared a delicious fruit salad and watermelon (as well as pastries, toast and coffee etc). The room was spacious, clean and bright and the location of the property was great, at just 10 minutes walk to the beach. Would highly recommend!

The accommodation is a short walk from the beach and on the outskirts of Palermo. Very quiet location, absolutely clean and very helpful owner. Exclusive breakfast, the best of our entire stay in Sicily.

Lovely place to stay in Mondello

The location is great, close to the beach (10 minutes waking), the room was very clean, the breakfast was fabulous, and Maria is really friendly. It was a pleasure to stay in her B&B.

Great location, less than 10 minutes from the beach, close to the supermarket and restaurants. Nice rooms and good breakfast. The host is very nice, welcoming and helpful. If return to Mondello will stay again. Grazie mille, Maria!

Nice B&B with great breakfast

The room was good with good size, the bed is comfortable and the staff was really friendly. The breakfast was really good with a lot of food.

Our room was next to the breakfast room and was a bit noisy during the morning since we could hear everything but nothing so bad. In general was a good stay.

First trip to Sicily

The owner was the sweetest Sicilian woman. When we got off the wrong bus coming to town, she offered to come get us! She loaned us towels and a blanket to go to the beach and even dropped us off there. She tried her hardest to communicate with us despite the English/Italian language barrier. She served us an amazing Sicilian breakfast (included in the price) … fresh fruit, pastries, bread, meats and cheeses, and choice of cappuccino or espresso. It was about 10 minute walk to the beach but we rented bikes for 10 euros per day and it was well worth it to travel too and from town.

Cleanliness of the rooms, the breakfast and the coffee. Only a 10min walk to the beach supermarket and all the restaurants. Also Maria Concetta who is the owner was a very nice lady always ready to help and answer any questions.

Really pleasant stay

Great location only 10 minutes walk to the beach, breakfast was amazing, the owner is super nice, they have private parking, nice terrace and lots of beautiful flowers.
