I wouldn't recommend this hotel (this is my personal view)

Nothing really!

Although this hotel is budget-friendly, my experience was disappointing, and I can't recommend it. I arrived to find that the hotel, listed on Booking.com as Smart Hotel Schönbrunn, is actually called Design & Budget Hotel. I was initially stuck outside, as access to the lobby required a PIN code—which I hadn’t received—and there was no reception staff to assist. Eventually, I managed to get inside when other guests opened the door, only to find several other people in the lobby equally confused about how to obtain their room keys. It turned out that an additional online registration was necessary to receive a PDF with all the codes and instructions for getting a room card, making the process unusually complicated and impersonal. The room had an unpleasant smell, likely from a cleaning product similar to vinegar, which was far from inviting. To add to the string of surprises, I visited the upper floor to buy a coffee but was told by an unfriendly staff member that coffee was only available with the full €13 breakfast. Despite trying to simply buy a coffee multiple times, my request was firmly denied. To top it off, the hotel is situated near a construction site, adding to the overall inconvenience.

Înșelătorie

Toți clienții hotelului am fost înșelați, aceleași camere s-au vândut pe booking de două ori la persoane diferite. În cele trei zile și două nopți erau câte 10-20 de turiști care așteptau să-și ia în primire camera pentru care plătiseră prin booking, dar era ocupată de altcineva. La fel am pățit și noi, am închiriat două camere, nu au vrut să ne-o dea pe cea de-a doua.. După câteva ore ne-au dat a doua cameră. Alții nu au primit nimic!

Kleines feines Frühstück Top Lage (U-Bahn 10 Gehminuten entfernt) Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis Parken ist bei der Unterkunft möglich

Kleine Zimmer - für einen Städtetrip optimal, aber wenn man mehr Zeit im Zimmer verbringen will/muss, ist es nicht empfehlenswert

War ganz ok

Betten waren bequem, Lage gut, Öffis gleich in der Nähe, Parkplatz gleich ums Eck.

Obwohl wir 2 Nächte gebucht hatten, wurde unsere Zimmerkarte am 2. Tag gesperrt, da in der Rezeption anscheinend ein Fehler gemacht wurde. Wurde nach langem Hin und Her richtiggestellt. Leider wurde die Rechnung für die Übernachtung noch immer nicht per E-mail an mich geschickt, obwohl dies mit der Rezeption ausgemacht war.

Zbyt duży hałas, klima nie działa.

Musiałem zaplacic za pobyt jeszcze raz, mimo, że 30 lipca 2024 na booking wszystko zostało uregulowane. Opłata poszła z Blik. Na drugi dzień pojechaliśmy do Rijeka na dalszy pobyt, tam również przez stronę booking płaciliśmy w 25 stycznia 2024 za pobyt i wszystko grało. Słaba sytuacja, nie rozumiem dlaczego Pan z recepcji wziął od nas kasę. Pozdr DZIKDGL i Beti

Cozy but the room is a little bit tiny

I like the location and traffic. There are several supermarkets and several nice imbisses downstairs. It is also close to some landmarks. I like the friendly receptions, who are always there to help.

Be careful while using the towel. The shelf is right above the toilet. I brought my own towel. After I put it back in a rush, it fell into the toilet, and it happened twice (of-course I throw these pity towels away)... Well, it was actually my own mistake, but I think it would be nice to do something to prevent this.

We came for just a one day stay, a Rubik's cube competition, and everything went well.

Great, simple room. Great location close to the Technische Museum. Sometimes there is noise from the intersection below, but the windows keep the room quiet. The breakfast was actually VERY nice.

Nice hotel close to Schoenbrunn. The room was clean and comfortable.

Everything was alright and as announced. I would appreciate a fridge in the room, though.

Very comfy stay

Perfect location next to tram stop and 8 min walking from Schönbrunn palace, lovely room with very clean bathroom and comfy bed, tasty breakfast with great view as bonus. Nice and helpfull staff.

Rooms with windows to the street are very loud esp during day. During night with closed window its feasible but not for lightsleepers.

Very good

Very quiet. Good access to public transportation. Room clean. Bathroom is clean with good water pressure. Easy walk to Schoenberg Palace. Near 3 grocery markets. Check in was easy.

Outside in some areas could have been swept. Other than that my very adequate.

Practical hotel close to zoo and Schönbrunn

Easy parking in the garage. Nice breakfast room on top floor with great view, but the breakfast choices were not very great. Comfortable rooms. Location close to zoo.

I really liked the hotel, besides breakfast, might have been better

I liked the room, it was big and clean. The location was also good, pretty close to the metro station (10-15 minutes) and to the Westbahnhof (20 minutes). The breakfast was not that good in my opinion.

I didn't like the breakfast. It was very small, it was hard to get full, especially by that price, it was better to get to the next door cafe to get more food. But the view from the roof was very nice.
