About this villa rental
This unique villa offers you a fascinating combination of style and tranquility and promises you an unforgettable summer experience.
Built just 30 meters away from the coast, Villa Frydi offers a panoramic view, which takes your breath away: the Ionian Sea and Ithaca, the Odysseus’ Island.
Villa Frydi is a brand new and comfortable house. It accommodates up to 8 people. It has 3 bedrooms +1, 3 bathrooms, spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi and a small but useful laundry area. The harmonious pairing of quiet colors and simple lines create a peaceful and elegant ambient.
The 300sqm stone-built courtyard that surrounds the house, the attractive swimming pool, the barbecue and the two pergolas create a space with respect to privacy for everlasting summer vibes.
Under the shadow of the one pergola there is a comfortable and artistic table for 8 people. An olive tree and bougainvillea shape a beautiful scenery.
An ideal place for relaxation is the large outdoor living room under the second pergola. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view with a glass of Kefalonia wine. The wonderful colors of the sea in combination with the sound of the waves create serene and positive thoughts.
Sun loungers and umbrellas invite you to enjoy the pool and the sun while swimming or playing.
A large garden with Mediterranean plants such as lavender and rosemary surrounds the terrace. The elegant lighting in the evening creates a romantic and earthly environment.
Villa Frydi means ‘eyebrow’ in Greek and has taken its name from the shape of the beach right in front like the local inhabitants call it traditionally.

This villa is absolute perfection, it is a fabulous place. Very well equipped villa with everything you need on holiday. The bedrooms are spacious with incredibly comfortable beds and air con in every room. Great pool with a beautiful view and access to the beach for swimming or kayaking. It’s a short walk to a couple of tavernas and cafes and a quick drive to a supermarket. Quiet location. The hosts were very quick to respond and very helpful. We can’t wait to go back! Love this place!

Lovely villa with stunning views. Direct access to the beach was great, outside areas really maximised the great views.

We had a wonderful holiday at Villa Frydi. Both the house and the hosts are truly exceptional. We travelled as a family group of five adult family members and thoroughly enjoyed our break. In particular the younger family members were appreciative of use of the kayaks. One member of our party has coeliac disease and both the owners and local restaurants were very helpful, making eating out so straightforward. And we would like to thank the owners for leaving some gluten free products to get us started!! We ate out frequently in both Sami and Agia Efimia, and visited Argostoli twice. Highly recommended

Sheer Joy
This is the only Villa I’ve ever booked twice and I will definitely be going again. Everything from the accommodation to the location is simply wonderful - I can’t recommend it highly enough

Home away from home
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Frydi. It felt like being at home from the very beginning. The house is looked after with love - that be can clearly felt. All contact with Olvino was really nice, kind, efficient and straightforward. The outside patios and the pool are fabulous and very comfortable and the quick access to the sea a differentiator for us. The house is very well set up and one has everything one needs. Thank you very much for being such a great an easygoing host!
We hope to br able to come back sometime as we also loved Kefalonia and how easily you get around so many wonderful places.

A gem
Fabulous property in a great location

Kefalonian paradise
Pictures don’t do justice to the property - all new specs and wonderful landscaping and views. There was also an added perk of a mid week house clean. The only thing is you can’t put toilet paper down the toilets and the combination of a cold water current coming from the nearby caves and rocky pebbles make beach access not as a baby friendly.

Better and more breathtaking than we could have imagined
Our family just returned from a one week stay at Villa Frydi. The outdoor spaces and the house itself were beautiful, impeccably maintained and incredibly comfortable. The views of the ocean and Ithaca were breathtaking. In fact, we have stayed in many villas secured from HomeAway but this was one of the most spectacular ones. The management is professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the island, halfway between Sami and Agia Effimia and close to two of the larger roads on the island. There were several excellent bakeries, supermarkets, butcher shops and tavernas within short drives. We hope to return one day before too long. We fell in love with the house, Karavomilos and Kefalonia.

Immediately relaxing!
As soon as we drove onto the driveway and saw the wonderful seaview we were instantly relaxed. The property itself is clean and welcoming. It has been decorated beautifully and has been designed for your comfort and relaxation. But the view! Uninterrupted sea view made for some spectacular sun rises!
Our new 'bolthole' for sure!

fantastic villa, fantastic position
This villa is truly perfect. We tried to find fault and couldn't! The location is perfect, you can walk straight to the sea shore from your bedroom and take one of the canoes out just after sunrise. The perfect way to start a day. The outside photos on the website really don't do it justice, it has been further improved and is great for both daytime sunbathing and evening eating and drinking.
Karavomylos is a lovely village, has a minimarket, lovely bakery/cafe that does excellent breakfasts, and two good restaurants. Don't forget to try the one that isn't by the seashore (called Zervati) as the food, location and staff are all lovely.
Kefalonia is small enough that you can drive around most of it in a fortnight's stay. Assos is a lovely village, as is Agia Efimia and both the Drogarati caves and Melissani lake (literally 10 minutes walk from the villa) are well worth a visit.
We could say much more. I'm sure no one would be disappointed with this beautiful villa.

Outstanding Villa
It’s the little things that added to our overall experience. 3 hairdryers, beach towels, thoughtful sewing kit, and mosi plug ins. The place was spotless and the outside space the best we have encountered. Since these pictures were taken they have added two new pergolas for added shade and a very nice L shaped outdoor sofa, chair and coffee table. The landscaping has really matured too and as we were part of a wedding party, we had many visitors all of whom commented on the place. As you go through the electric gates the sea views open up and it’s totally stunning. Sami is a 30 min walk along the coastline if you need shops and a good selection of waterfront restaurants and bars. Highly recommend.

Perfect place to relax.
The property was exactly as the description and the pictures led us to expect. Everything we could possibly need for a family holiday was provided. This is a beautiful house with breathtaking views across to Ithaca.

Outstanding property, fantastic views and super location
Villa Frydi is a beautiful villa a couple of minutes walk to LAKE MELISSANI. The Villa fixtures and fitting are of a high standard. Each room has stunning views of the sea. The gentle lapping of the sea is a peaceful sound to wake up too each morning ! The views from the pool area and sitting areas are equally as fantastic. The hospitality of the owner made the stay at Villa Frydi Extra special. Locally, within 7 mins walk, there is a very good Taverna which over looks the sea, a mini-market and pretty decent coffee and cake shop. The drive to Sami is 5mins and Agia Effemia is 10 mins drive away

Fantastic 3 bedroom villa on the water!
Villa Frydi is a beautiful beach house located on the water.
The villa has great architecture: all 3 bedrooms have amazing sea views. We are a family of 6 and we were very comfortable. All rooms and the bathroom are decorated with taste and the villa has all the necessary amenities. There is a large porch with a pool. The porch leads to pebble beach. The property has 2 canoes for exploring the tranquil waters. The porch is large enough for parties and celebrations. We celebrated our daughter's baptism and we all had a fantastic time. The surroundings are very quiet.
It is located close to the Port of Sami and also to Agia Efimia where one can find super-markets, restaurants and bars. Mellisani lake is very close also.
More importantly, the owners are great people! They were very helpful and offer authentic Greek (and Italian!) hospitality.
We had a fantastic time and we cant wait to return in 2018!
