Perfect for five people - a spacious family home, perfectly equipped, with historic character and a story behind it!
Lovely location, but can't help wishing it had a view over to Skye!

It's a very cosy cottage with a fire place which is easy to use. The kitchen has everything you need to cook for 4 people. There's a supermarket in walking distance plus several restaurants if you want to eat out.
The location is great to discover Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle and the Isle of Skye
Everything was fine.

Gute Küchenausstattung, neues Bad, alles sehr sauber

Amazing location! Walking distance to supermarket and local restaurants and very close to Skye Bridge.
Mild smell of stale cigarette smoke in kitchen and dining room. There is a designated smoking area outside the cottage and I'm sure on cold days people smoke in the doorway which then wafts inside. But this was not a deal breaker by any means.

The pictures don't do it any justice! It looks recently renovated, the host was helpful and it had all the house essentials including dish soap, dishes, cutlery, coffee, olive oil, etc. The cottage was tidy and clean to a high standard. It has a huge yard up front. There are enough heaters so even though its December we didn't get cold (Christmas decorations were a huge bonus to the experience). There was also hot water. Really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back ASAP!
Beds and pillows weren't too comfortable
