About this apartment rental
Enjoy the elegant atmosphere of An American Castle. This National Landmark is a hilltop treasure with spectacular views and majestic sunsets. On-site you can enjoy our heated outdoor pool, our NEWLY renovated indoor pool and spa, fitness room, bbq areas, tennis courts and volleyball. The spacious lobby offers comfortable seating, fireplaces and a restaurant. Our duplex apartment is conveniently located right off the lobby overlooking the tennis courts. The unit consists of a fully equipped kitchen, living room with queen size sofa bed and a full bathroom on the first floor. The second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom.

Clean, well stocked and very convenient location in Montauk. It's peaceful and we didn't hear any noise from the neighbors or the lobby.
All of our group was comfortable, having the two full bathrooms was essential for getting ready for the wedding we were attending on saturday. One of our group did try out the gorgeous, newly redone sauna on the lower level of the Manor and raved about it.
Though the vrbo isn't a huge space for 4 people it is enough. I was up and out to see the sunrise every morning at a local spot just up the road and there is always the stunning lobby that you can sit and chat with friends.
The only thing I would mention is the dining room chairs, though white and classy, are uncomfortable to sit in for any length of time as the padding in the seats appear to have been compressed over time. But that's just a very minor complaint and easily rectified by putting a pillow from the couch on the chair.
A lovely place to stay, great amenities.
Note - the parking spaces at the check in area limited. Everyone does appear to park in the fire lane for a few minutes to unload luggage, you do have to move your car down to the parking lot past the tennis courts. I did notice a number of handicap spots near the lobby for those who have trouble walking and there were usually a few spots open.

We had a wonderful week and enjoyed being in this beautiful manor immensely. We strolled the grounds and caught gorgeous sunsets. The shuttle into downtown Montauk (5 mins away) allowed us to untether from our car and parking worries, and to spend time at the ocean and wandering the quaint downtown. It was the perfect spot and we would go back again.

A resort feeling in a tudor castle made it a relaxing setting. A nice pool and a restaurant/bar that added to options for dining and swimming. Gorgeous sunsets and a quick ride into Montauk village and beaches.

Very Family Friendly
We really enjoyed Montauk Manor. The staff was great and very helpful answering questions about the area. The hostess at the restaurant was so friendly and kind. We enjoyed talking with her. The decor is a dated but we didn't mind. It was just the perfect place for a family.

Everything was nice
The two-story condo is compact but efficient for a short stay. The location is great, near the Montauk circle and just minutes from the lighthouse. The larger of the two bedrooms has a mattress that is extremely soft but manageable. You will enjoy your stay here

Joyce was the BEST, host I’ve ever encountered. Very responsive and really cared about us having a great experience in Montauk. You can tell that she takes great pride in her responsibilities as a host and more importantly in her great little town of Montauk!!!

Great location
This was our first time in Montauk and we really enjoyed having a quiet place to stay after our busy days at the beach/bustling town during the height of tourist season. Great to have a kitchen so members of our group could have coffee/breakfast as they got up. Beautiful grounds, plenty of places to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

We loved renting it from the owner who was very helpful. The only person that was not so nice was the woman at the desk when we checked in and indicated that because it was not a hotel unit she was not very polite. We love the room and would do it again and again

Lovely, Two Bedroom Retreat!!
My family and I had a lovely retreat despite the overcast weather. The rooms were clean and well stocked with supplies. The owners were great at communicating all of the details for a relaxing and fun stay!!

Was on the first floor so easy access to the pool and gym. The pool was heated which was great as it was a bit windy and not super hot out. The building itself is really pretty and lots of great views all over the property. They had a bar/resto open most of the time also which is convenient however we just brought groceries and went out into town to eat. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedrooms all had cable which was nice. Only a couple watch outs for future travelers:1. If you’re not a hard bed person the master bed will hurt your back. Really firm. So bring a mattress topper if you have or take the second guest room which has a super comfy bed. 2. The spa and indoor pools are not open which it doesn’t state anywhere. Was kind of looking forward to a massage but was informed upon arrival they are not open. Also because this is a owned property the front desk took it upon themselves to tell us we can’t access a lot of the amenities like the shuttle and tennis equipment. We didn’t care for either but just an FYI.Overall though wonderful place and Joyce went above and beyond to make sure our stay was going to be a great one.Highly recommend!

Great Location, Wonderful stay
The group I went with could not have had a better time! I have been coming to montauk for years and never want to stay anywhere else! Montauk Manor has everything you could need. Joyce was so responsive and kind to any requests/questions I had. The beds and rooms were comfortable and cozy. I have already recommended to many friends and family!

Montauk Wedding
2 BR at Montauk Manor was awesome Plenty of room for 5 Adults...Van service provided by MM was exceptional especially since they charge for parking at Kirk beach. $50 !! Dropped us off and picked us up... as well to Ditch Plains. The unit was fully stocked with the essentials... Iron Ironing board.. Hair dryer and all the utensils you need to cook a meal. We really enjoyed the Hilltop restaurant

Closed amenities
Unit was clean and well stocked but smaller than we anticipated. One BR didn’t have a closet and was at least 5 degrees hotter than the rest of the unit. The main problem was that neither the indoor or the outdoor pool was open and since the weather was bad, which can obviously happen at this time of year, the kids had nothing to do. This is obviously an issue with the property as a whole not this specific unit.

The unit we stayed in was very dirty. Which was incredibly disappointing considering we were charged a significant cleaning fee for a two night stay. The floors and carpets were so dirty that we couldn't walk on them without socks or shoes. There was some sort of white residue on the couches and coffee table so we avoided using them.
