I've stayed here several times. The room was excellent with a nice view into the woods. Breakfast was perfect and presented a lot of options to choose from. All in all just what I was looking for.

Excellent location, smack bang in the middle of the woods. Helpful staff. Room was in the basement of the properly, but still having a window with outdoor view (grass covered slope).
The bathroom is separated from the bedroom by means of a frosted glass door. The light in the bathroom has no switch, but a motion sensor. Comes on automatically with movement and goes off a few minutes after the last detected movement. Nice during the day, but a nightly visit to the toilet wakes not only you up, but your partner in the bedroom as well. Most annoying that there is no switch to kill the light!

We stayed at the balcony room with our dog. The receptionist was very patient and attentive. The room itself amazed me with it's size, design and thought out features. The fact that there were small details such as the minibar being included in the price and having a cozy lounge area for a small hotel with really good coffee really added to the experience as I didnt need to keep track of which drinks we had or what we used. The forest area is beautiful and quiet. The breakfast was quite alright. Based on other pictures I would guess it differs when you go, but everything was edible and fresh so you will likely find something to fit your tastes. The restaurant options in the evening were also great, very quick and affordable. Plus the small sweets in the room, plenty of tea, coffee, water and decently soft towels were a great addition. The cleanliness level exceeded my expectations. It was not perfect as you might see in my cons section, but the small details really didn't affect our stay. Block out blinds on the gorgeous windows allowed for perfect sleep. We absolutely will stay here again and can wholeheartedly recommend it.
The window into the bathroom felt a bit weird. It would be nice to have some sort of shutter or curtain so you could choose whether you want to be seen or not. Being in the balcony room, which is right next to the reception, made it a bit annoying to hear everyone checking in. I tried to take a nap upon arrival and hearing every conversation was a bit frustrating. Thankfully, I brought ear plugs. Otherwise, did not hear anything from any other rooms. There were some small details such as hairs in the bathroom drawers, stains on the walls in the bathroom, on the towels and heavy dust levels under the bed. And the shower head could desperately use a de-calcification, but nothing that really made us feel uncomfortable or even hinted at the fact that there could have been hundreds or thousands of people before us. The twin beds did have a gap in between them, so mind your phone or earphones and check under the bed before you check out, but they were really comfortable. So don't let my cons paragraph here scare you. It is still absolutely amazing

The location within woodland is very nice, we felt instantly relaxed when we arrived. Staff were friendly and helpfull. Nice room and breakfast.
4.0
the lady of the reception and she was also at breakfast; very friendly, very committed.
Two things:
1) one or two hooks in the bathroom to properly hang the towels and/or clothes would make all the difference.
2) instead of the bulky glass waterbowl for preparing tea or coffee (hardly used I guess), there should be at least a proper shaded lamp or table-lamp because on and around the existing table and chair it is absolutely far too dark, this is really frustrating and unnecessary. The coffee and or tea facilities should be situated on a small new additional square table next to the existing table.
