Quando il primo impatto è’ tutto

Esperienza terribile, siamo arrivati con un zaino e una valigia zaino sulle spalle e subito la reception ci blocca chiedendoci di togliere le scarpe senza neanche darci una mano. Tolte le scarpe, un check in lunghissimo, sempre con i zaini sulle spalle, ci volevano illustrare tutte le escursioni. Chiedendo aiuto per un trasferimento privato a Sihanoukville, ci hanno risposto che ci volevano 10 ore e loro non potevano aiutarci. Vista la stanza ( con una porta su un balcone sul retro che non poteva chiudersi ) abbiamo deciso, dopo aver pagato la notte, di spostarci in un altro hotel dove ci hanno trovato il trasferimento all’orario da noi richiesto e necessario per non perdere la coincidenza con il traghetto ( alla fine ci abbiamo messo solo 6 ore e non non 10 come comunicato dalla struttura ). Fuori dall’Hotel la strada non è asfaltata. Concludendo, la gestione del cliente è inesistente e sicurante l’accoglienza può essere migliorata !

Absolutely lovely staff

Everything was perfect! We didn’t end up staying because we caught the night bus but the staff did everything to make our travels as easy as possible, even gave us towels for a quick freshen up before the bus! Rooms looked great and facilities were very clean, the food in the restaurant was so good and was even included in happy hour. Will be recommending this place to others!

Très bien pour loger à Battambang

Très bon accueil, l' endroit propose beaucoup d'activités, le dortoir climatisé est très spacieux, le lit confortable (avec rideaux) et la salle de bain est bien. Propre. Casier à disposition.

La restauration et les cocktails au roof-top sont plutôt bof, privilégiez de manger en ville (meilleur et moins cher).

Great Hostel for A Great Price

I stayed here with my close friend and we absolutely loved the Place hostel! All the staff members are incredibly kind and welcoming and did a wonderful job at showing us a large selection of different tours to do in Battambang. The crowd here is mostly young 20-year-olds and the hostel does a great job at making a social environment such as their lovely rooftop bar for a reasonable price. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The Hostel was incredible though there could have been better maintenance in the bathroom . The bathroom is cleaned very often (I believe three or four times a day) but could use other maintenance. For example, the toilet seat seems to be a little off/broken.

Recommend the place!

Very nice staff, big room, nice bed and clean hostel! We spent the end of the evening on the rooftop having a snack and something to drink. Overall a very good hostel and I would recommend it to everyone!

Pipe from the upstairs bedroom through our bathroom and got bitten by a few mosquitos in the night.

Seulement une douche et un toilette pour un dortoir de 12, ça peut très vite être sale, et rideaux trop courts sur les lits qui laissent passer la lumière

Toller Aufenthalt im The Place in Battambang

Die tolle Lage und das sehr freundliche Personal sind hier hervor zu heben. Gute und lockere Atmosphäre

Im Hotel den Transfer Battambang nach Siem Reap im Privattaxi gebucht (vom Place empfohlen). Privattaxi war ein Sammelttransport zusammen mit ein paar hundert Kilo Bananen auf dem Dach, Lebensmittel und lebenden Hühnern im Kofferraum. Koffer hatte fast keinen Platz mehr. Technischer Zustand des Fahrzeugs war ebenfalls zweifelhaft.

A wonderful hostel!

Wonderful hostel, with plenty of space to relax, the rooms are very good for the price, with curtains and all confort. The bathroom is super clean. I loved the staff, who give really good advice and the tours they organise are excellent. I would stay again... and again.

Good for a 1 night stay if you are on your way to the capital.

The staff were super friendly. The restaurant on the the rooftop was very convenient! Booking tours was made really easy! :)

Private room- the bathroom was a bit dirty as there is poor drainage. The check in time was later than what was said, which meant that we had to wait 2 hours later to check in as they said that this was their time for housekeeping.

Really recommend this place as it was nice and sociable and offered great tours and transportation

The Property was small and intimate which meant that it was very social. It was nice and clean. and appreciated how the hostel has its own cafe on the rooftop. Staff were super helpful and the hostel provided a really great full day tour and helped with transportation

Didn’t like how the AC was turned off during the day as it meant you couldn’t cool off. They supplied a couple of fans but they wouldn’t the top bunks and certain people would hog them. There was only one loo and shower for each dorm, which wasn’t enough as there was around 10 people in the room.

Room was spacious. Hostel offered good tours. Both air con and fan in room a plus. Location near market was good.

Wifi very patchy. Bathroom very small and odour of sewage. Window from room to stairwell let alot of light in at night and also made it easier people talking in stairwell

Great hostel! Very friendly staff and nice rooftop bar. Enjoyed my stay and even booked their hostel for my stay in Siem Reap as well.

Could have been more toilets/bathrooms - but everything else was great.

Staff were super friendly

We had private room, there is a small market behind where they start work chopping food and playing LOUD music from 5am and they don't stop being Lound till 1am. We had to leave and relocate on the last day at 6am to check in elsewhere to get some sleep.

Great choice in Battambang

We stayed in one of the private rooms for three nights. It was a massive room and had a fridge, kettle, and TV. The bed was huge too and really comfortable. You can get meals on the rooftop for a decent price, and it's a nice place to chill out. The hostel is well located. They offer a range of tours and the full day tour is really excellent; it's also great value for money! It was really easy to meet other people staying there during the various activities. The hostel can help with booking buses and with arranging activities, such as the circus. Overall a great place to stay :)

The bus company that the hostel arranged for us to travel to Phnom Penh with was really quite terrible. I would do your own research into the various companies before you book through the hostel. The bathroom could have been cleaner. The pillows had a bad smell so could do with being replaced.
