Location is perfect for a ski (both downhill and xcountry) vacation! Enjoyed walking to Clark Market and Wine Mine for provisions! It was an easy kitchen to navigate, glad there was salt and pepper! The chalet was cozy. Lotsa room for clothing to hang and put in drawers. The garage was a perfect place for skis, boots and ski clothes. Loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer… next time we can pack less!

Will be back. Great place!!! Very convenient to everything.

SO convenient to the ski lift. Great warm storage for ski kit.
Easy acces to town with free bus at the door. Walking distance to supermarket.
Cosy, warm comfortable accom. 3rd bed access a bit awkward.( no issue for us only 2 beds needed).
Position, position, position!!!

Perfect location, perfect comfort, perfect environment

Fantastic view and location

Great location for a summer stay.Lots of trails for hiking. Short walk to grocery or downtown. Free gondola to Mountain Village and more trailheads close by as well. It was a bit warm on the 3rd floor of the chalet, but we spent very little time there, so it was manageable.

We had a great stay at this condo. It was perfectly located at the base of lift 7. There is no ac and we were there in summer so got a little hot during day and it was too hot to use the loft at night. The pictures make the place look a little bigger than it is but it was comfortable and clean. Kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed. Telluride is a great place to be in summer and we loved our stay (in spite of the construction next door)!
4.7
Easy walk to shops & restaurants, great views from living room and deck. Had all essentials needed for our stay. Good for two people, might be a little crowded with more. Bathrooms are small and there is limited room for luggage. Our only issue was a lack of hot showers for most our stay.
4.7
We were a family of 4 and this space worked great for us, but it is relatively small and the loft space is very small. Our 14 year old son loved it, but I don’t think it would work well for an adult.

This place is a little gem. Perfect for the 2 of us. Right next to lift 7. Walked out garage door and on to the lift. It has everything you need. It is 3 stories so it has a lot of stairs. In floor heat so it is always super snug in the winter. Kitchen has everything you would need. The Galloping Goose stops just outside if you don’t want to walk. Downtown is easily walking distance and a grocery store is only 2 blocks away. The only thing I would recommend is putting some open shelves in the bathrooms. Bathrooms are the size of a closet and no place to put your personals. Bedrooms are also small. Would definitely stay here again.
4.7
Great condo. Steps from chair 7 and a short walk to the restaurants and shops in town. I am already planning my next stay in the condo.
4.7
The views from two patios (2nd and 3rd floor) were very private and had nice views of the mountains. The kitchen was clean and had a good selection of cooking apparel and full-size updated appliances. The beds were pretty comfy.
We had a few issues that were disappointing considering the cost per night.
1. We were given the wrong keys but luckily didn’t get locked out. The lock box code was incorrect too. They did come the next morning to remake keys.
2. The hot tub was padlocked most of our stay. Never got a reason or response.
3. Dead bugs by bathroom lights and ceiling. I understand the area has had an issue with gnats this season, but still.
4. There are no closets or place to hang up clothes. Not a huge issue, but should mention in description. Bedrooms are quite small, so not a lot of room for suitcases and personal items.

Great property with great location!
4.7
Cozy corner unit with about a 10 min walk to the center of town. Don’t forget to ask for a parking pass if you have an SUV because it won’t fit in the garage

Comfortable beds and functional kitchen Two outdoor decks for great views

It was very clean and has a beautiful view of the mountains.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything to make a delicious meal.
We loved the place.

This was a great condo with all of the amenities we needed for cooking and just feeling comfortable. Loved the location - close to town and the gondola. We will definitely be back!

This place has it all. Compact, yet complete. It is literally 50 steps to Chair 7. It is next to the ticket office, and also next to the ski rental store. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a delightful community hot tub. And best of all, the views are incomparable. Probably the best located ski in ski out townhouse in the entire town of Telluride. Thank you very much for sharing your wonderful home with us. Look forward to many more years.

The overall experience was good but the condo is very compact, especially the bathrooms. The condo was clean upon arrival, is well equipped for cooking and is stocked with toiletries. The ski-in/out was good unless you are not a great skier. There are no easy runs to get back to the condo, only a narrow intermediate trail or black diamond runs. So, if you aren’t a great skier you have to take the gondola and bus which takes approximately 45 minutes to get back to the condo. The loft is unusable unless you are a child. The views of the mountain are wonderful and the lift is right outside the side garage door, super convenient. The Galloping Goose bus drops and picks up right outside the complex which we used to go into town for dinner and to go to the gondola to go over to mountain village. This was a family ski trip, myself, my husband and our two 20 something sons. For our family this condo was just too compact, we felt we were on top of each other all week. I’m sure others would think the space is fine. The top floor stays very warm, we did not turn the heat on up there during our stay. We had to open windows to cool it off. We stayed in January and it was cold outside. I guess it is very well insulted, so keep the blinds closed on the top floor when the sun is out to try and keep it cooler. If you are a good skier and are looking for a ski in/out condo you will be very happy with the location.

What a great place in a magical place! Right outside our patio was lift 7, Saw a bear on the mountain, saw a huge heard of Elk, and we were able to walk to every part of this beautiful town!! Cosmopolitan was our absolute fave at the base of the free gondola to the Mountain Village, FYI they do close it for fall maintenance from late October to mid November, was a bit of a bummer but we had the town to ourselves it felt like! So being shoulder season, we felt we got lucky and missed the craziness that is their normal. Was amazing. Only hiccup was that somebody was moving into one of the Townhouses and they blocked us in for two full days. Vacasa on Facebook was very responsive and helpful. The email team however sounded like it was our fault that we got blocked in! Our day plans had to be audibled, lucky my girlfriend is much more patient than me, but finally Vacasa got the two trucks and trailers moved finally. Had we not done this we may still be there, which wouldn’t have sucked. The people who blocked us have to be hands down the rudest people on the planet, selfish at the highest level, from AZ, stay there please. Parked right next to the signs that said no parking, and a giant parking lot right across the street. Already a tight fit in there and this was just unreal to see from another person. But Vacasa was amazing from the FB response side and very courteous, again the [email protected] needs some work though, they had no thoughtfulness even when I sent pics. FB team should be applauded though, 10/10 for them. Place was amazing and hope to be back, we even extended our stay an extra day with FB team and was as easy as pie.

The view, location, amenities and convenience are all top notch. We came here for the renowned Telluride Horror Show, but also to hike and de-compress in this gorgeous mountain town. This condo is a spit-ball away from the chair lift- true ski in/ski out, so we are coming back to ski for sure. At this condo, you feel totally immersed in the mountains, and totally at home. Thank you, Vacasa! This place is a gem.

Everything was nice! Well equipped 2 bedroom. Only downside, master bath, smallest shower in the world. A fan and or two would have helped on the warm afternoons given no AC.

We stayed at the Double Diamond Chalet in July after Vacasa cancelled our original reservation in Telluride. The condo was immaculately clean and only a short walk to downtown Telluride. The beds were very comfortable. It had beautiful views of a nearby ski slope (we saw a bear!) and the surrounding mountains.
We had small children (ages 2 and 5) traveling with us. This condo was not really suitable for young kids, especially toddlers. We didn’t have another option, as our much more kid-friendly rental was cancelled by Vacasa only a few days before our trip. We wouldn’t stay here again with young kids in tow. It is definitely appropriate for adults and older children! We also found the condo to be pretty small and cramped, but luckily we spent most of our times outdoors.
Overall, a great place to stay if you want a warm, clean, comfy bed at the end of a long day of hiking or skiing. However, I would avoid this rental if you are traveling with young kids.
