One of our best apartment in Komiza rented over 12 years

Excellent lay-out of the apartment very well furnished with taste, nice garden with shade, quiet central location with easy access to the Riva, shops and beaches. Friendly owners just next door.

Ideal for 2-3 friends or couples for a short stay.

Host is kind, easy check-in, clean room, good location and good price for the busy season.

Just one small thing: towels are clean, but really harsh.

Not as described and not as the pictures on Booking.com lead you to believe. Tiny apartment, suitable for 1 or a couple who would not spend much time there. Not suited for any more than two people. Laundry provision not as good as other apartments in the area, I have been visiting for 20 + years. Would have been nice to have some loo roll! Would have been nice if the owners had been present to welcome guests rather than leave us trying to call at the given arrival time with no answer and having to wait about hoping someone would arrive to show us to the apartment. It would have been helpful is the host could perhaps have extended the single sofa bed so there could be no accusation of damage or an overly excessive charge to replace. Felt I was treated as an idiot and as someone who couldn't follow basic IKEA instructions to fold the be out. Lacked suitable amount of basic crockery/cutlery. If you want to be cramped go here, others are available with better provisions, space. Do not be fooled by the pictures, this apartment is small. My children were accused of making excessive noise by owner, however, this is a block of apartments with paper thin walls therefore we were equally disturbed by other guest tramping in and out at all hours. Not making excuses for my children but after the accusation felt we had to creep in and out like little mice and be in bed by 8pm. The hosts had children who would knock on the door at all hours and harry us when we went out. A cheek to accuse us of making excessive noise. Basic curtesy of the host leads a lot to be desired.

Superb

- Overall clean and large, ideal for 4 people - the patio with barbecue was great and provided shelter against the sun in the afternoon - As the apartment is in the basement it maintains reasonable temperature even in very hot days (with the support of the A/C unit in the living room) - Great location close to the city center and a dedicated parking lot in the proximity (about 200 m)

- The apartment is ideal for 4 as additional person has to sleep in the living room - Supply of toilet paper and dustbin bags was not sufficient - not a big deal to buy it, but given the accommodation price it could have been provided in bigger amount - The A/C worked well, however there is only one unit in the living room and thus the temperature was higher in the sleeping rooms

Facilities were fine, nice comfy bed and good shower.

The lady wasn't really welcoming. And I did not understand why the garden was closed. Nobody was using it during my stay, maybe it was only for certain rooms, but that was a bit disappointing.

Superb location, and our local contact was wonderfully helpful.

The photographs provided are rather misleading. Access to the adjoining garden would have been greatly appreciated. The sofa-bed in one room was unfortunately too uncomfortable to offer a good night's rest.

This place should NOT be listed as a sobe- protect yourself- do not stay here

The location was fine.

Where do I even begin. The elderly woman who was apparently in charge made no attempt to interact with me. Her grandson was very kind and acted like a normal host, suggesting places to go and encouraging me to write to write with questions. He helped me with my bags, which was needed, and normal. And then he left and the misery began. This sobe is owned by one of those old women who want to control every tiny little detail of everything and have no concept that someone is paying to stay in their property and they are obliged to make sure things are OK. This woman doesn't care- only wants money. First, there is one tiny air conditioner that barely cools the kitchen. Sleeping was possible- windows open or windows closed- the bedroom was boiling to the point of danger. There was no way to control this. I asked for a fan, but was ignored. There are also two steps, one going to the balcony and one- the worst going into the bathroom- it is high and rough- not properly finished. I sliced my toe on two separate occasions using the restroom in the middle of the night- and there is ZERO medical care on that side of the island so will be visiting the hospital today as it is now well infected. Again, I let the woman know. No response. Doesn't care about injuring her guests. As long as she gets her money- who cares! However...and here's where it gets utterly bizarre, I asked several questions (as I had been encouraged to) by her grandson, about the ferry, and a tour he had personally suggested. All these messages were ignored. BUT- the old lady DID see it fit to write me a nasty email about how I needed to "take care of the windows and doors" because it could rain...despite the fact that it was boiling and the sun was shining. I responded negatively to her, informing her I was injured due to her lack of property management, and that there was no rain (nor was there!) She was unable to comprehend why she was wrong.

Location is great, apartment was perfectly clean, the price was great - especially for this time of the year, the owner was friendly.

It would be nice if there was a hairdryer in the apartment and if there were more towels.

Friendly person, modern appartement ,verry clean and perfect shower! When we arrive the garden smells verry fresh & nice seats to sit outside! Excellent price& Quality. 5 star Recommendation.

Great place, perfect for our stay in Komiza. Good communication, we were also taken by the owner's mum to a local wine producer to try and supply. Amazing indoor and outdoor space.

Nice apartment in excellent location

The location of the flat is amazing, 5min walk to the sea front.

The kitchen facilities were good but a few basic ingredients such as salt, pepper, oil etc would be useful.
