About this house rental
Set in the village of Titikaveka on the south side of Rarotonga, down a winding family road amongst fruit trees and wild ginger is Kia Manuia Cottage.
This brand new 2 bedroom home is perfect for small families wanting quality accommodation at an excellent price. The area (Titikaveka) is renowned for pristine beaches (400 metres away) and fertile land, amongst the locals its known as "the country".
Surrounding the property are mango, banana and paw paw trees and of course, coconut trees are everywhere.
From the veranda you look out over a vast lawn, ideal for kids to cut loose, the road is quiet and only used by those that live on it. Through the sliding door Kia Manuia opens up to the main living area with ample room for everyone during the rainy days. TV and DVDs will keep the kids occupied and wifi will keep the parents out of trouble. To the left of the living room is a full kitchen, and to the right are the two bedrooms, the master has a queen, and the second bedroom has two singles, there is ample wardrobe space in both.
Getting to the beach will take 5 minutes, pack a lunch because you probably won't want to leave. The sand is deep and white, and the lagoon azure blue.
Special conditions:
Smoking allowed outside only
There is wifi at the house, in order to activated it you need to buy a wifi card from any shop showing the telecom “e” sign, or buy a “data pack” online using a credit card.

Very clean, renovated. Plenty of kitchen utilities. Very private. Plenty of towels. Close to the beach where you can swim & snorkel (for the best snorkelling experience I would recommend a park/beach around 300 meters to the right)
Several restaurants / cafeterias in walking distance. Basic shop nearby as well, having all necessary for the first day at least.
Great local experience. Friendly neighbours.
Highly recommended if you're not up to high-end resort :) , good option for budget holidays.

We loved the place and exceeded our expectations. So spacious and lovely outdoor area. So peaceful.
The Bach has everything you need for great holiday.
Quick walk down the lane to the beach where we saw stunning fish.
The dairy was really convenient, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kia Manuia Cottage for our first ever visit to Rarotonga. It's location was close to everything; especially its proximity to Muri where everything is happening on Rarotonga.
Also, because of it's location that is set back from the main road, it was so quiet with no traffic noise. And even though their were dogs, they were quiet throughout the night. We would go back in a heart beat if they would have us back.

Easy to find on line. Eddie very helpful, especially when our flight was delayed by a day. The instructions for access to the property would have been more helpful if sent later rather than 9 days before. I couldn't find the code on my emails. Have now learned how to screen shot. All good.

Lovely bach that felt some homely to stay in while we were in Rarotonga for the week. Easy to book and access to the bach was fine even in the evening as the airport transfer driver knew where the property was. Close walk the beach and main road where you could catch a bus throughout the day and night. Shop close by too if you needed something which was handy. Amazing location and Eddie was great to communicate with. Will be booking again when we come back !!!

Great Find
Beautifully situated in a tranquil garden setting. Everything you could possible need for a self catering holiday all you would expect to find at home. The property is well cared for and spotlessly keen but some furniture needs replacing. Would definitely recommend this property and Eddie was easy to deal with when making our booking.

The property was exactly as it was in the pictures with plenty of cooking equipment, towels, sheets etc. The location was handy to good snorkeling spots (e.g. outside 'The Rarotongan') and Muri beach where the night markets, shops and restaurants are located.

House was fantastic for our family, nice & cosy, had everything we needed. We very much enjoyed our stay untill we were broken into one night while we were out which was unfortunate. There happened to be some thieft happening in the area at the time so be sure to lock up all doors properly not just the screen door, our mistake.

The house has everything you need - even snorkelling gear and rock shoes! We loved staying there. The location, slightly off the beaten track, was great. It would have been easier to find if Pit Stop was mentioned - it is across the road from the road to the cottage.

The house is bright and modern, with a good kitchen and newish bath. It's in a quiet location on a large parcel a block back from the water. It's convenient to Muri, and to good snorkeling a short drive in either direction. There's a large covered porch, a handy hose for rinsing gear, and a big container to take advantage of the free filtered drinking water available nearby.

We were there during some brutally hot weather, so the fans were just adequate, but otherwise, the property is clean and modern, and it's easy to be comfortable. It's well situated to enjoy Muri without being involved in the mass tourism there, and it's close to restaurants heading the other direction as well. The big refillable jug of free filtered water is a great bonus as well.
