About this villa rental
Island House Beach Resort, Crescent Beach, Siesta Key Florida! Newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit. The unit is approx. 1000 sq. ft. has a large living area, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, all appliances, central ac/heat, covered parking, screened lanai, 3 flat screen tv's, dvd, in unit Internet and unlimited long distance. The unit has a king, 2 twin beds, sleeper sofa, can up to 6 guests. It is located close to the swimming pool and is a short distance to the beautiful waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This beautifully maintained complex has 2 beach cabanas, beach chairs, heated swimming pool, game room and a scenic beachfront courtyard where you will experience the most amazing sunsets. There are many shops, restaurants, golfing, tennis, boating, bikine, parasailing, kayaking in the area. Bush Gardens, Adventure Island and Disney are a short driving distance. After a very long time without taking a vacation, we decided to give Island House Beach Resort a chance. A better decision it could not have been. From the moment we set foot on the property, it was nothing but relaxing and fun. The property and amenities were great. Right on the beach and close to everything. I enjoyed our villa. Overall really well kept and enjoyed the beds and pillows. Would love for an upgraded tub and shower floor. Some mold in the shower floor. Otherwise would definitely rent again. Last night there was a cockroach in our bedroom.

Our villa is always clean and is conveniently located between the pool and the beach. The only improvement I would suggest is the sliding blinds on the slider door. We have been returning to Island House since 1980 and this year did not disappoint. The unit was clean and comfortable, and well stocked with kitchen accessories. All 5 star ratings...but always room for suggestions...the vertical blind slats were of different lengths, and some would fall off, or not close easily...preventing privacy at night. Several suggestions for property management...the beach chair crew bumped us from our chairs on several occasions at least 30 minutes before sunset. That is often the nicest part of the day. I understand the need to collect the furniture, but perhaps it could be delayed until after sunset?
Also, guests in one of the apartment units was not as respectful of other IH guests or IH property, often leaving their toys, bikes, and even garbage (boxes of beer cans, etc.) on/blocking the courtyard sidewalks.

We loved everything about the Island House, we were so impressed by the cleanliness and how well kept the grounds were! Everyday the maintenance and grounds team were on their golf carts , getting garbage, power washing the drives and just generally keeping everything in beautiful shape.
We stayed in Villa 7, we had a minute walk to the pool and maybe a 5 minute walk to the beach. Honestly we were so happy and enjoyed ourselves so much, I will definitely recommend Island House Beach Resort and would gladly stay there again!

This property has a great location with a very short walk to the most beautiful beaches. I would only change out the twin beds for a queen or king, otherwise a great rental.

Just right villa
We loved our stay at Islandhouse Villas. V7 was show perfect. Our two kids enjoyed the twin beds. Super clean and had all the supplies we needed. I’m glad I brought 8 beach towels. The sand was amazingly soft. We didn’t know the pool was heated and kids loved night swimming. Central to everywhere! I loved the Siesta Key Village and was hopping with things to do. I also loved how the beach seemed more private with blue waters galore. We got picked up for our banana boat right there too!

It was perfect. Villa 7 was very clean and modern. Plenty of dishes. Very close to private beach. I kinda wish the laundry area would have been free, but that's not really a complaint, just an observation. The pool was very clean. The whole place is perfect and beautiful and pleasant.

Property management refused to clean the sea weed off the beach which was lots more than we���d ever seen my family and I were not able to go out to the water which is what we came to do and payed for afraid of an infection; house was nice

Villa 7 was as described on listing. Clean, comfortable beds, and close proximity to beach. The kitchen was well stocked with plates/storage containers/pans. For the cost it would have been nice to have a few items to help with the stay. The only products they provided were bar soap, toilet paper, 3 dishwasher tabs (only after I asked for them), towels and washcloths. There were no dish soap, paper towels, tissues, or beach towels,. On the beach they provide loungers/chairs but there were only 2 small cabana's. If you wanted shade you had to purchase an umbrella or canopy separately.

Island House
We have been coming to Siesta Key for over 25 years. Island House is our favorite spot because of the "old Florida style" villas they have and the beautiful landscape with beach. Some places on the Key have "maximized" their property trying to fit as many condos into one property for the most profit. Island House is still spacious and private and reminds of the old Florida we originally fell in love with!
