The property offers an awesome location, spacious outdoor areas, and stunning views. Perfect for families, outdoor cooking, and relaxation by the pool. Guests enjoyed easy access to nearby attractions. Phenomenal experience!

This was our second time here and it remains our favorite place to stay on the island. The home is beautiful, amazing views from every angle, you can sleep an army here and there are plenty of bathrooms for all. It’s a great location if you are just doing some of the adventure park activities right down the hill, or hitting anything on the east coast. Or just hang out in the pool or hammocks swinging around.
I say “I hate to say this” because I don’t want you to take my week!

The property and the location are awesome. The house was clean and easy to get to. Just a little minor things that were wrong. Hector and Carmen were on it. I would stay here again because of the location.
I went to celebrate my 60th birthday with my friends and my brother and we all enjoyed this place.
Thank you for renting to us. I will recommend this place.
Sincerely Jose

This house was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the pool and outdoors. The outside patio is very big and you can host a big group comfortably.

We stayed here last year for spring break and liked it so much that we came back. The location is ideal - 30 minutes to/from airport, 5 minutes to Luquillo beach and its awesome kiosks, 30 minutes to Fajardo and its charter cruises, 45 minutes to Old San Juan, 15 minutes to El Yunque. House is nestled away and peaceful. Cooking/eating outside is great. Awesome sunsets.

Beautiful home in a beautiful place!! Perfect for families or if you just want to escape. Amazing views from just about every side of the house, upstairs or downstairs. We will be back!!

This house was perfect for our family vacation. We spent 9 lovely days here. It was a total of 5 people. Our 3 year old grandson felt so at home. Played everywhere and loved the pool. Carmen was very responsive when I contacted her to ask if they can send someone to clean the pool. The pool person came to take care of it within 10 mins. Since the pool is closed to the trees. It gets leaves in it. We never had an issue with anything. All the amenities were just perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the bottom floor for evening dinners. We used the grill to cook dinner most of the time. We found everything we needed. Beds were comfortable, AC worked well, showers were very cleaned with nice warm water. There are many places that you could go eat near by. Supermarkets, beaches, Jaz clubs, the river. We also went to ride horses at the Carabali Hacienda. That was a wonderful expeirnce. Our grandson rode a horse by himself and loved it. The neighborhood was very safe. The neighbors were very friendly. We loved the sorroundings at night and in the morning. You will love the donkey (we named it Henry). Roosters waking you up, all sort of birds singing and of course at night you will hear the lovely coqui signing. This is a house that I would definitely stay in again. Overall experience in PR and this house was phenomenal.

Overall our family of 5 really liked this property. The location was terrific for what we wanted to do - visit Old San Juan, El Yunque, and beaches. Close to lots of food (kiosks and restaurants) and groceries.
Pros:
Location!
Great outdoor space - fun to cook/eat outside and we enjoyed the pool table. The hammocks were a big hit too. And the views were excellent.
Felt very safe.
Air conditioning worked great, washer/dryer really helpful, plenty of bathrooms.
Cons:
These were mostly little and weren't "major issues," but they added up:
No beach towels as advertised. We had to buy our own, which was a bummer.
Cleaning could have been better. There were two melted cough drops (I think) on our bedroom floor.
Many of the fans/lights didn't work or didn't have remotes (including the one in the main living room).
TV instructions were totally different from what actually had to be done to get it to work (didn't really matter but was annoying).
No dishwasher (we knew going in but it was more annoying than we expected it to be - would be rough for bigger groups).
Pool not heated (again, we knew going in, but it was surprisingly cold).
Waste pipes leaked onto the lower outdoor level whenever someone took a shower.
Contacted the owner through the VRBO app and via text about the towels and lights in case we were missing something obvious, but never heard back. Didn't want to call because they weren't emergencies.
Based on the price that we paid, I would have expected the little things to be taken care of. Since we knew about the lack of dishwasher and heated pool going in, I did not hold that against the property (but put it in the review to point out to others).

We had a wonderful time at this property. We were a group consisting of 2 families with teens. The outdoor space was amazing — we thoroughly enjoyed hanging out there in our “downtime” and even cooked dinner in the fabulous outdoor kitchen. The views and surroundings can’t be beat. We also enjoyed the proximity to Carabali, as we walked to dinner there twice during our one week stay. The roosters, coqui, horses, dog visitors and nearby donkey made our trip even more memorable!

This is a great rental. The highlight is the outdoor area that can be used both rain or shine because the majority is covered. The pool is often in the shade, so great for when you want a dip but need to take a break from the sun. The beach chairs and boogie board was an awesome thing to have! It’s five-10 minutes to the beaches of Luquillo and 10-15 to El Yunque rain forest. Also super close to Las Plaices natural water slide area.
The only major issues we had were the following and would be easy things for the property management to address.
The code we were given to get into the gate to the neighborhood did not work. We got lucky and followed someone in. That’s kind of a big one.
A couple minor things: the description states that the place has beach towels and it does not, or we would have brought some with us.
The knives at the place are so dull that they really pose a risk to guests trying to use them. My husband is an avid cook and cut himself pretty good. Sharp knives for a safety win next time please! :)
Other than that it was fantastic. Everything you need for a great family vacay and close to so many incredible sights. We left a piece of our heart in Puerto Rico and will most DEFINITELY be back!

We loved our stay!!! The views were spectacular from all directions! It was great to have air-conditioned bedrooms to sleep in but we lived outside the rest of the time! There is nothing like preparing all your meals in an outdoor kitchen! The home is within close driving distance of all activities in the area. Highly recommend this property!

The property was lovely and just what we expected. As other reviews mentioned, finding the house the 1st time was a little tricky but not terrible. The gate referenced in the directions no longer has a horse on it so do not let that throw you off. The house was well equipped, the bedrooms were perfect for what we needed (we were 7 adults), the A/C worked great and each room had it's own unit. We spent most of our time in the open air kitchen/living area with pool table. We could not get the fans down there to work but there was always a breeze so it did not really matter. There is tons of sitting areas throughout the property. ....sun, shade, pool-side, views of mountains, sit with the group or take sometime by yourself in a hammock. There was no shortage of space it was all there and you just had to pick your seat. The pool was also nicer than we expected. We eat at the Carabali Rainforest Bar and Restaurant a couple times and it was very good and just a short walk from the home. We also went on a horse ride which we would recommend. It would have be nice to have an additional gate opener because sometime our group wanted to split up but we had to plan around someone being able to open the gate to the neighborhood. We always figured it out but it did take extra planning, so having 2 would have been nice. After our week in this home we did not want to leave. We hope to be lucky enough to come back and stay here again someday. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

If the location and the amazing view wasn’t fabulous, I would not have been super impressed with this property. The beds were not comfortable, the pillows were so flat. The outdoor space was a saving grace as the inside is tight for a larger group. The seating out door was not comfortable either, I felt like for a space meant for hanging out, it would be more comfortable. Small things that made the stay not as enjoyable especially with a large group. Overall not a bad experience, however I have stayed in enough places to notice the differences with comparable prices.

Very good location- short drive to Luquillo beach! You can use amenities at Hacienda Carabali (go cart, bar/restaurant, ATV rental, horse rental) just a short walk away. I love horses, so it was great to see all of them and the stables in the neighborhood.
I wish we would have stayed here longer!
4.0
This property has many bonuses: spacious (especially the lower, open level), stunning views, pool table, comfortable air conditioning, very private, lots of cozy hammocks, and convenient location to Luquillo beaches and El Yungue Rainforest. If more attention were given to its upkeep, it would be a stellar property. The drawbacks: The swimming pool/hot tub was unheated and not clean (the floor and sides of the pool needed to be vacuumed), only one bathroom had a hot shower (the other two were cool), may lightbulbs needed replacing, there was significant water leakage to the lower level anytime someone showered. The biggest downside was that the directions to the place were wrong and very confusing. The owner should replace the unclear directions with a single pin drop. If the items above were rectified, it would be a FABULOUS place to stay!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The beautiful flowers, fruit trees, and listening to the coqui at night were part of its charm. There was room to spread out, and the many outdoor areas were so nice to relax. One note- be careful with the tile floor in the open area downstairs; after some rain, we had someone in our group slip and fall. The tile becomes very slippery when wet.
So thankful for our time here and hope to stay again.

While we had a some difficulty finding the property when arriving after dark, Carmen checked in on us and was available to help us find the right place. The house and property are beautiful and well-maintained. We spent the weekend surrounded by flowering trees, bamboo, avocados, bananas, frogs, lizards, chickens, horses, cats & dogs! The house had lots of amenities from kitchen supplies to beach chairs. The pool was perfect, clean and cool. The a/c, hot water, wifi, cell reception, everything worked with no problem. Luquillo is a great town and we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!!

Our extended family of 10 (from 5 - 74 years) had a marvelous time here! Very close to entrance to El Yunque rainforest and several places to eat nearby. Our "walkers" felt very comfortable on their early morning walks in the neighborhood with beautiful tropical foliage and open spaces. Our alarm clocks were roosters and a nearby donkey, and we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck watching two large iquanas in the tops of nearby trees. We were able to grill out one night and the downstairs kitchen was well stocked with dishware etc. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool, and there were plenty of towels, and the washer/dryer was most helpful after the mud wall climb in the rainforest! Carmen was easily accessible and helpful when we called. The only issues were a few periods of no water, but it was apparently a government "black out" due to the drought, and created very little interruption. The neighborhood gate was a bit tricky, and it would have been nice to have two clickers as the family was in two cars and not always together. Most of us are from Florida, so we are used to mosquitoes, but we didn't see (hear or feel) a single one, and we spent A LOT of time outside; there was usually a very nice breeze due to the elevation. What a nice surprise!

A few friends and I stayed here, the pool was fantastic and the views were incredible. The power went out for a few days and the Tesla battery saved our trip. 10/10

Falling asleep at night to the sound of the tree frogs was very relaxing. Great views all around. Nice peaceful setting!

There were 6 of us who stayed here and every one of us kept commenting how perfect it would be for a big family reunion. The public space on the first floor was huge & so comfortable.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful and peaceful place!! Great neighborhood and lovely dog Catalina from the neighbor. We didn’t wanted to leave. The natural scenery of el Yunque, landscape and pool area was beautiful. We definitely come back again.

We were very excited about what we saw with the property when we booked many months ago. When we finally arrived, it was even better than we expected. We have 3 teenagers and the property had plenty of room to allow us to all hang out.
The only real comment we had was that we were surprised there was no full size oven available. It was listed in the propertly listing, but we overlooked that. It didn't make a difference for us as we just adapted to use the grill.
I'd come stay back here again if we can in the future!

Muy buena la estadía, sin embargo deben mejorar el “pin de localización”, nos llevó a un área lejos y de dudosa seguridad.

Excellent stay for Thanksgiving with family. We enjoyed the house and all that it had to entertain us. Beautiful views and it had everything we needed except for the oven. The property description says it had one but there was no oven to cook the turkey. We found out when we called the day before to make sure. Very good communication from the property manager. Overall, we had a great time, loved the flow of the house, the breeze, comfortable rooms and bathrooms and nice family room with kitchen with a view. We hope to visit again!

Property was perfect and Carmen was great with helping usher to the house n everything needed. Home was well equipped and if you stay here you can seriously stay here n not go anywhere it’s such a slice of heaven. Will never stay anywhere else in Puerto Rico.

Nice secluded house with private pool, and yet still easy access to beaches and El Yunque. A thunderstorm knocked the power out in the area for a few hours, but otherwise things were great.

Very difficult to find, no reason not to provide a listing in google maps or a pin drop. Otherwise the property was nice and as advertised. The outdoor space was great. The beds left a little to be desired. Overall I would recommend.

The house is perfect! Next to hacienda carabali super clean and the view is amazing ! The downstairs was super peaceful and quiet at night! To just really relax and unplug if you want to. The view from the all around the house was mountains and nature and El Yunque!

This place was so home-y and fun! The AC was great when we needed it and the outdoor space was perfect for our group. We had fun playing basketball and reading in the hammock. It was also extremely close to restaurants, grocery stores, and El Yunque. The only downfall was the directions to get there were not correct so we spent 45 minutes trying to find it. Other than that, great place and would recommend.

Communication with the property manager was good. The house is very charming and spacious, lots of open spaces downstairs. We were a group of 7 adults and we had a great time. The pictures are 100% accurate and we really enjoyed our stay there.

We were a family of nine going to a place, for the first time, that has had much tragedy. First, Puerto Rico is ready and open for business. Roads and infrastructure are sound. The Villa Tesoro exceeds the posted pictures. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two kitchens, swimming pool and hot tub, pool table. All were clean and well maintained. We felt safe wherever we went. Because of Villa Tesoro our vacation was beyond expectation for all of us.

In love with the view and the modern, cozy furniture used to decorate the house. Definitely made us feel as if we were at home. Everything as advertised and then some. Owner was very flexible and responsive. The house is well kept and very clean and the pool was a huge plus. Overall, we were highly impressed. We'll be coming back soon for sure!

Perfect vacation for our six member, three generation family. We loved being close to the El Yunque Rainforest as well as the beach but the house itself with its pool, jacuzzi, and amazing lower patio with barbecue, kitchen, stereo and comfortable lounges has Its own attractions. Shady in the day and well-lit at night, the patio was our first choice for all our meals. Everything a family kitchen requires is provided, even for adventurous cooks. Hector was always a text away and was so helpful with any question from the best supermarket to weekend medical care for an ear infection. Wifi was perfect for staying connected to work obligations. The upper decks provide space for even large groups to spread out and enjoy the scenery. The air conditioning units are useful and effective against the afternoon heat. Two small recommendations: bring a book light for indoor reading at night; connect with Hector before arrival to confirm directions and access to house. Prepare to have a fabulous relaxing vacation!

We visited this property for our first visit to Puerto Rico and found it to be an excellent home away from home. The secluded location was close to the Rain Forest, Luquillo Beach, an easy to access all that Fajardo and San jUan have to offer as well. The house itself was just as advertised, with comfortable furniture, great electronics, and fully stocked to cook and eat for any meal. Hector was responsive whenever we had a question.

We had a group of friends stay here for a few days in November. The house was beautiful location - you felt like you were in the middle of a treehouse in the rainforest. It's very close to the beach, too. Our favorite part of this home was the outside kitchen & entertaining area. We prepared and ate every meal outside - such a great experience! The owner is very kind and easy to work with. We would highly recommend this location, and will probably return again in the future.
