Well worth a stay

We really enjoyed our stay in Tollyrose Country House, Helen , our host was very friendly and helpful, of every aspect, Our room was spotlessly clean, located in a very quiet area,( a place to find yourself) we chose the king size bed,which was super comfortable and spacious, Breakfast was delicious , and we'll.presented. To sum up, well worth a visit

Best stay we have had so far in our travels across Northern Ireland

It is in the perfect location to visit everything the area has to offer. The rooms are well set up and the hosts do everything in their power to make your stay both welcoming and enjoyable. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay here.

The location of the house is wonderfully quiet, and yet only a 5 minute drive from Newcastle. We had a fantastic walk in the nearby Mountains of Mourne

Very enjoyable and very tasty and filling breakfasts.

Helen couldn’t have been more obliging in catering for us, offering us variations on our breakfasts if desired (we stayed three nights) and was very cheerful and informative on potential destinations.

Absolutely loved our stay at Tollyrose, we’ll

We loved that everything you could have needed was there plus extra touches - chocolate bars to have with a cup of tea, lovely toiletries, lots of space, comfy bed and a delicious breakfast with lots of choice available. Helen and her staff were so lovely and friendly, nothing was a bother. Also right beside Tollymore Forest Park - beautiful spot which is definitely worth a visit.

We weren’t able to tilt the TV which made it a bit more difficult to see from the bed but that was literally the only thing and even then it was fine.

Excellent countryside mini hotel with the family run feel.

I expected a basic b and b but it's a very modern mini hotel. Family run and very clean with everything you need. Located right beside Tollymore Forest but only 5 mins from Newcastle centre.

I prefer a buffet breakfast rather than ordering but it was all lovely. Also a better TV in the room would be nice but not a big deal.

Relaxing stopover stay.

Located about 3 miles from Newcastle with easy access to Mourne mountains and Tollymore Forest. Room very clean, breakfast good and hostess very friendly.

Its located within walking distance of the Tollymore Forest. It was really clean, and the host was very friendly and easy to talk to. We felt very welcome. Gardens are neat and tidy. Parking facilities. The little treats she left us in the room. Breakfast was lovely. Definitely a place we will revisit.
