Das Design der Wohnung war klasse im botel drin auch super. Sehr schick gemacht
Das der warm Wasserboiler dierekt im Schrank neben dem Bett ist war relativ laut

The location and view from our window were fantastic. The bunk beds were comfortable. The room was very clean. It was lovely looking out over the water and seeing the birds and the shipping going by.
The corridors were a little dark and dingy. Staff didn’t tell us information about Botel when we arrived (e.g. use of bar, breakfast facilities). Seeing floating rubbish outside the window wasn’t so nice!

The location for the hostel and the view are very good, staff was friendly, and the room was clean.
The distance between the bunk beds were so low. You cannot sit on the bed comfortably for the bottom bed. And you need your own padlock for the lockers.

Location and idea (boat hotel)
Rooms (bed, under the bed and shower) were not clean enough. Towels were not clean either (stains, hairs).
Some images on booking.com not in line with reality.

The view
It was the worst hotel room I have ever seen. The room is very small, the ceiling is very low, also your head hits the top when you get up from the bed downstairs. The toilet is so small that you hardly sit down and stand up. When you take a shower, the water fills the entire bathroom, floor towels were not available, and when we asked for a towel for the floor, they delivered normal towels. There is only one type of towel, face towel and shower towel are not separate. The room is for 4 people, but there are only two stools in it. In this room you feel like soldiers going to war. There is no hair dryer. The photos in the booking.com are completely misleading. There are only 5 normal rooms and the other 3 floors are prison-like rooms. But the photos that are shown to you are mostly related to those 5 rooms. I trusted the score available in Booking, but unfortunately this score was much higher than the reality.

Rooms are quite compact with 2 nos. of bunk beds..
No additional facilities within the property, breakfast was good.

The concept of a floating hotel and a boat restaurant is what attracted us to comme. Employees are accommodating including those in the bar. And the breakfast is a good one; has enough selection.
The bathroom in our room is so small. I am 5'4" in height and weighs 45 kg but knocked my elbows on the wall when showering.

the location is really nice! It's quiet and a trendy neighbourhood.
There are not many restaurants, so that could be better, but there is a supermarket close by.
It's a special vibe as the "hotel" is a boat! we had a clean private bathroom and the beds where comfortable.
Drinks in the botel lounge available all day/evening at a very correct price.
With a free ferry next door you can go to the center of Amsterdam. It goes up/down every 30min, all day/night
it could have been cleaner, there was still some paper wrapping left next to the heating from previous guests.
The corridors are really old and in urgent need of some renovation! (wallpaper hanging loose, floortiles loose, ...)
Only 1 towel per person available.
Nothing to eat in the evening at the botel.

Room was fairly modern and clean.
Ferry transfer direct from central to botel.
Bunk beds bottom bunk was very short in height not giving much room to move.
A little noisy at night.

The whole experience
How easy and close we where to everything

Great connection to Centraal by ferry. Staff is friendly.
The room was way too small for 4 persons (quadruple room with 2 bunkbeds). No place to put your luggage, and only 2 chairs to sit on, because you can't sit up in the bed. The bathroom is tiny with no place to put your stuff. While showering water splashes out, and you cannot help it. The whole ship is really worn and looks a lot more like a cheap hostel, than a hotel.

too difficult to reach the center

Lovely location with easy access to the city
Shower room a little small but understandable

location and free transportation by ferry from Central Station
other guests or locals or others were relatively loud outside of the boat (on the shore); the atmosphere was rather unusual, not typical.

Great concept, good value and easy free ferries to the hotel
very small bathroom that flooded too easily and nowhere to put your clothes

Extremely clean and staff were very helpful.
We flew in early in the morning and our room wasnt ready for check in( we knew this would be the case) so we left our luggage in the luggage room and went off exploring for the day.
When we got back late that night we then checked in and it wasnt a problem.
There is a city tax which they ask you to pay first as your checking in. We stayed Friday to sunday and it was €12 for the two of us.
The rooms are small and basic but are functional all the same, great value for money in my opinion. You need to get a boat from central station back and forth from the Botel but its FREE, we really enjoyed this aspect but it may not suit everyone.
Overall, for value and experience we highly recommend.

free ferry was easy to get to and from the centre. rooms were clean, minus a few stains on bedsheets etc. majority of the staff are friendly and welcoming!
noisy! can literally hear everything from next door or above/below you.

we had a room on the waterline which was cool.
too small. couldn’t even sit in it. there was a table but not enough room for chairs. you could only sit on the top bunk as your head was too tall for the bottom. tiny bathroom. however it was very clean. it was adequate for a family with children who were out all day. some staff were helpful, some were not. parking available cheaply nearby but you have to download a confusing app. great supermarket nearby. fantastic regular free ferry to city centre. would recommend but not luxurious.

The best is the free ferry shuttle just next to the Botel. Room were clean and beds comfortable.
Combined with a hostel. I believe it might get noisy in rush months. However all was fine during our stay.
