La zona del desayuno está algo descuidada. Cristales y suelo sucios, sillas destartaladas.
Desayuno podría mejorar, no fue agradable.

The hotel is in a great location - in Simon’s Town and within walking distance of Boulders Beach. The staff were very friendly and , when we had an issue with our door key, they repaired it very quickly. The breakfast at the restaurant next to the hotel was delicious too.

The hotel was flexible with our late check-in and the staff were all really friendly.
The room was also clean and very big.
The fish smell from the area was unavoidable.
The bathroom had no ventilation

room and view beautiful
no loadshedding capabilities, extremely frustrating. not being able to smoke and paying as much as non-smoking guest is weird. not even on the balcony..

Location is ok.
Very unfriendly staff. We did NOT get the room what we booked. In addition, there was trash left in the bin from previous guests, and the floor was sticky because it was poorly cleaned...I do not recommend it.

Great view, location and friendly staff.

The staff were friendly and efficient and the view was beautiful! It was a weekend stay for my brother & our Mom to celebrate my brother's 60th.
Loadshedding meant being without air-conditioning - perhaps the Body Corporate of the building could consider installing an inverter.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was absolutely amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Simon's Town

No power during loadshedding.

The view over Simons town harbour is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious with many options. Very big room with comfy beds.
When they experienced load shedding there was a security light that couldn't be turned off in the middle of the night. No torches or lamps were provided for loadshedding. The furniture was a bit ruined, paint chipped from tables.

Perfect position and beautiful view. Lovely to wake up to the happy voices of people going off paddling/sailing/swimming.
Really good value for money - it needs a bit of updating, carpets looking tired for e.g. But really, everything was super clean and comfortable.
1.0
Absolutely nothing. Except perhaps the view - which they completely lucked out on. Shocking, shocking shocking!
Everything needs to change. From the horrendous check-in to the cleanliness of the room (we didn't sleep under the covers as they were dirty), to the cleanliness of the bathroom (we didn't shower as there was mold in the shower and on the shower faucet) to the room actually being looked after - there was paint that had been chipped off the walls, a chair that's leatherette was peeling off, to a TV that wasn't properly secured on the wall, to broken window handles, to what we can only presume was a hole in the ceiling which had been covered with a piece of cardboard and duct tape. The pillow cases were stained, the Wifi was non-existent and while there was a telephone in the room, it wasn't connected to anything and didn't work. When enquiring about this, we were simply told that they knew about it. We spent one night in the room and left early the next morning. This was absolutely disgusting! Shocking! A place like this should NEVER be rated 4 stars. 1 star is too generous. As soon as I arrived home, I showered with anti-bacterial spray. Revolting. I will never step back into Simons Town ever again! Horrified.

The Simon's Town Quayside Hotel was lovely. The rooms are large, comfortable and well airconditioned. The location is excellent, and allows for easy walks around the quay at Simon's Town.
There is no restaurant on site

The location is great, even within a walking distance to the penguins and next to the nicest cafes in town.
The place looks much better on pictures than in real life. We were very disappointed. The rooms are old, some furniture damaged and scratched all over. Seems like they haven't done any renovations in ages. We also had a very tiny window with a view to the mountain which was actually way less impressive than the images seemed to promise. Over all, the place is not bad and offers a good stay, it's just different from what you may expect from the pictures.

Location was fantastic, as was the view
Very noisy room, very low water pressure in the shower

The location overlooking the Quay was excellent and the room and balcony were exceptional. Breakfast was taken at a nearby restaurant and both the choice of food and service were excellent. We had a very enjoyable dinner at "Bertha's" restaurant on the quayside
We arrived a little early and did not expect to be able to check in necessarily but the member of staff on reception was not at all welcoming. Other staff encountered during our stay were much more hospitable

great location, clean and nice staff
5.0
Good view. Pleasant helpful staff.
Window catch did not fully secure window which then rattled in the wind. As room end of a very long corridor shower water took ages to heat very wasteful. Bed hard whilst pillows too soft ( need replacing) Only first floor rooms have a balcony to sit out.
