It had spectacular views of the lake and mountains.
Those views are available anywhere in Queenstown and closer to the town. I didn’t like the common door to the area where your room is. There is one door for two rooms. So you enter the main door and then you are met with two doors, one of which is your room. It is very noisy and disturbing when guests sharing the entrance door to that area arrive and go into their room. The guests next to our room kept leaving the door open and the cold air was felt coming into our room under the door and the bed is right there near the door. We kept having to get up and close the main entrance door. Very annoying.

staff were great. Our mattress was not comfortable, and they changed it straight away. Regular free drop off and pick up by hotel bus into Queenstown. Rooms were excellent and modern. View from the room was great. Nice sitting area in reception for a coffee
Restaurant was not great. Breakfast options were limited. Dinner menu is very small and food just average. If they fixed the restaurant the hotel is a 10

We didn’t have breakfast. Location was good. Very secure.
We couldn’t eat in the dining room because there were large group bookings for two nights we stayed. We ran out of some essentials and requested supplies but they didn’t arrive.

Superb location. And a great breakfast !

The view and location is in the quiet part of Queenstown. You can easily walk to the town centre it’s 45 min stroll with such a beautiful view.
Or you can catch water taxi
Nice speaker in the room.
Unfortunately my spa bath didn’t work on the second night.

We stayed in the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment that came with a full kitchen, dining area, and lake-view balcony. The room is very comfortable in size and cleanliness. The fireplace kept the room toasty and inviting, and the lake view was breathtaking! The beds are firm and comfortable. Huge bathrooms.
Special shoutout to hotel F&B staff Kathryn who we met almost daily during breakfast - she's such a lovely person with a beautiful smile, we love starting our day seeing her! And she has a great memory, she remembers our room number and our coffee and egg preferences! What a gem!
The other hotel staff, including the shuttle bus drivers, concierge staff (including the lovely and professional Tai who greeted us at check-in), and everyone at the True South Restaurant, all made our stay even more enjoyable and special with their wonderful service.
We will definitely come back to stay here when we visit Queenstown again!
The electrical socket design in the room was a little tricky - the socket is too close to the switch. When we use our travel adaptor on the socket, it presses against the switch, which makes the connection unstable.

The staff were incredible, and the services provided there made our stay that much more enjoyable. The staffs recommendations of restaurants and places to visit while in Queenstown made me realise I need to book another trip. The complimentary shuttle into town made the distance from the CBD seem like nothing, or the walk along the lakeside was a perfect way of also getting around

Staff were friendly & helpful,
Room was spacious and very comfortable
Layout of the breakfast could be better-
Eg the pancakes were at the back so the kids couldn’t reach their own food- you also needed 1 hand to lift the lids with not alot of space to place your plate down and 1 hand to hold lid and 1 hand to serve made it a little disjointed.

I booked a 2 bedroom apartment with proper kitchen and laundry and dryer which was great.the service was quite good.
the bathroom was surprisingly tiny, had to shut the door first before used the toilet….and there is no proper blind in the bedrooms. very see through on the front to ceiling glass doors.

Nice place just outside of the main town. They have shuttles on the hour to take you in or return you home. They also have access to the lakefront and a private jetty.
Not worth the money

Manager was very understanding of our health situation
If possible would be most helpful to have a hotel hillside elevator lift or funicular tram to provide a convenient way to get safely up and down the steep incline to the beautiful lakefront walk
