The room was very clean and tidy.
It was very noisy, we got very little sleep. No sound proofing. Heard different groups of people arriving late at night and others leaving early in the morning. Doors that slam and unsympathetic staff.

Room was good, bed was very comfortable and seemed clean

Located just a short walking distance from most main Queenstown attractions and facilities. Room was quite large and had an excellent scenic view of the lake and mountains. Easy entry and exit to the block I was staying in via a secure side entrance. Breakfast began early at 6am.
Even if they are standard practice, the credit/debit card surcharges were unwelcome as was the thirty dollar charge for each breakfast...a significant financial blow on top of already considerable nightly room rates. My section of the hotel had no elevator access unless I climbed some stairs, including with heavy luggage when I checked out.

Front desk and restaurant staff were nice. It’s an easy walk into town.
Old, rundown place desperately in need to of some renovation. Cheap, old, stained furniture. Dirty common areas. Awful wifi. Inconsistent hot water. Room not made up. Had to ask for more shower gel after two days. Paid for superior room for lake view, but it was nothing like the picture. Bathroom so badly designed you can’t sit on toilet without bruising your arm on the toilet roll holder. For the cost this was the worst place I’ve stayed in years. Feels like it’s designed for coach tours where people have no choice.

Great service - very lovely and helpful staff, great view, location is ideal to town centre and the room was very nice.

Comfortable bed. Good. Quick walk to town centre.
It was very expensive. Charges made for using C/C which I hate.

The beds are very comfortable and spa is good but very limited time.
The breakfast in the hotel don't have much options compare to other hotels in Queenstown. The receptionist lack good customer service, she needs to have more training on receiving guest, she never explain clearly the using of the spa, that we need to get the key in the reception so it ends up us only having 15 mins trying to open the door with our own card key. We expect the rooms that we booked are close to each other but it turns out that it is so far. We book the junior suit expecting of a great lake view at the front like in the picture but it turns out that it is not front view. I think the photo is misleading or the hotel didn't give us the right room for the price we pay.

Spacious room, view outstanding, always clean and tidy. Warm, big bed.
Shower needs some maintenance, no matter where you set the temperature it never settled, jumped between hot and cold no matter where you set it. I thought the set breakfast was pretty ordinary.

Good location, clean and comfy.
The spa was too hot (indoors meant it was more like a steam room) and there was no thermostat control in the rooms.

Really central, walking distance to shops and lake front. Super comfy beds, warm and spacious room.
Paying for parking, it shouldn’t be an additional cost when parking is so scarce in Queenstown anyway.

location, price affordability, staff good
they didn’t clean the room every day and one they cleaned but it was just the bedsheets nothing else no vacuum nothing

Central location, close to town centre. Beautiful lake view.
Property is a little dated and looking tired. Furniture dark and worn.

great view from the room

Location was great. Short walk to beautiful central Queenstown and Lake . The bed was super comfy. Most comfortable bed out of the 3 nice places we stayed at. We had a junior suite with a balcony so we have lovely views of the Lake from our bedroom and lounge area . Friendly staff . Nice spa pool.
Bathroom probably needs updating but that didn’t affect our stay . spa bath was nice. Having a kitchenette in our room would of been helpful.

The location, the room and its size were great.
The staff were extremely helpful and obliging, the cocktails were done very well.
Very clean, and the bed was very comfortable.
The view from our suite was magnificent.
The robes and the fluffy slippers really made a difference, we were very grateful.
The room was beautifully appointed, and superbly clean.
We also had a free airport transfer, so well done guys, that was a great touch!
Wifi - could only get it for 24 hours, stayed there 4 days. The wifi reception was quite poor. We ended up using our own data, which is an unheard-of thing in nowadays.
The room - had a beautiful view, but it was a cold room and the heaters had to go 24/7.
If a suggestion can be made - the hotel is obviously outdated throughout and carries that feel and smell - it is possible to install air fresheners for a mild, gentle scent?
The tiles in the bathroom were freezing, and there was no underfloor heating. For Queenstown, that matters.
The heater in the bedroom made a ticking noise all night, had to switch it off to get back to sleep.
The central ventilation was very, very noisy and added to the discomfort.
Breakfast was lacking in quality. Although breakfast was included in our package, we chose to skip it after the first day.
Although the suite was big, the little things such as the above took away from the experience a bit.
I absolutely understand that COVID and a couple of years after have hurt a lot of hotels in Queenstown, and may have brought a few to their knees. This place has the potential to be an amazing experience, once the right investment happens.
