Location details and neighborhood.
The apartment is located in one of Florence’s liveliest neighborhoods and provides a rare glimpse of “old” Florence with typical antique shops and artisan studios: locals still live and work in this area and have not given it over completely to generic chain shops and hotels as some other areas of the center have slowly done. You will find the flea market at Piazza dei Ciompi, a 5 minute walk. If however you are looking for luxury shopping, the main shopping street, Via Tornabuoni, is also only a few minutes’ walk.
All of the city's main monuments and points of interests can be quickly and easily reached on foot. To name a few examples: Florence’s landmark, the Duomo, Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, Ponte Vecchio, the Bargello (one of Italy’s most important sculpture museums), the Casa Buonarroti, (the former home of Michelangelo), and of course the magnificent Santa Croce church and museum.
The apartment is in a restricted traffic area and so it is quiet and tranquil.
If you want to make the most of being in the apartment, the Mercato di Sant’ Ambrogio (the city’s second main food market after the Mercato San Lorenzo) is close by so you can stock up on fresh, local, typical ingredients. There are also several supermarkets, food stores and gift shops in the surrounding area.
For eating out, Via Ghibellina is home to some of Florence’s best eateries and within close walking distance is also Via dei Benci, home to every genre of restaurant and bar that one could want. Three of the city’s finest restaurants, Cibreo, Pinchiorri and Alle Murate, are also located nearby.
Transport
Florence is a relatively small city and there are many ways to travel. The quickest way to get around is on foot (and that way you are much more likely to discover a hidden gem - a beautiful garden inside a palazzo, a hidden away church with beautiful frescoes, a small boutique with beautiful hand made jewellery). If you want to explore outside of the city you can travel easily by train from the main station, Santa Maria Novella, where you can take day trips to many other beautiful places in Tuscany and even to Venice or Rome. There are also many places to visit by bus. Alternatively you can always take a taxi. You can easily access all of these methods of transport from the apartment.
If you have a rental car, there is a parking garage called “Garage del Bargello,” located steps away from the apartment. Since the apartment is located in a restricted traffic zone, they will take care of discharging the license plate of the car for you so that you do not get a fine.
**“City Tax” of € 5.50 per person per night applicable for a maximum of 7 nights during is to be paid upon arrival as per the city's regulatory rules (kids under 12 are exempt).**
** final cleaning fee of € 170, due extra upon arrival .**

A perfect location for a tourist stay.
The laundry facilities were appreciated.

This was a great apartment in a great location in Florence. Lots of room, with a nice kitchen, comfortable beds and good showers. It was only a short walk to all the major sights and there were plenty of bars and restaurants even closer (including practically across the street). Definitely somewhere we would look to stay again if visiting Florence! (We had some difficulty with the air conditioners, but I think that was user error, so just make sure at check-in that you know how to use them if it's really hot out!) :)

Family of five stayed for four days and found apartment very comfortable and centrally located in a quit neighborhood. Emma was a great manager and helped get us situated and set up car service for us. Apartment was very comfortable for the five of us with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. Easy walk to train station and many fine restaurants close by. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence and would stay again at the same place. Thank you!

I underestimated how close we’d be to the Duomo. It was wonderful not needing a car or any transportation in the city. Everything we needed was within walking distance.
The property was wonderful, spacious & very clean (& I’m picky). We would definitely stay here again!

Very spacious apartment, well taken care of, nice decor. Nicely appointed full kitchen. 3 full bathrooms. Great to have washer/dryer/drying rack. Very central location. Air conditioning worked great. Check in, check out very easy. Beds very comfortable.

This apartment was so well located and we felt very lucky to score a place with 3 full baths. It was clean and comfortable. We found a Bounce site right across the street at a tattoo place, but it was clean and nice .
My only recommendation is spend more time educating about the lights in the stairwells

It is a very centrally located 3 bedroom / 3 bath apartment. Emma was a pleasure for check in, explaining the neighborhood, and all our anticipated needs. We had a wonderful time in Florence. Fantastic weather, food, fun, and great apartment.

A short walk to all major sites. The site is managed and maintained impeccably. The building is secure and central to all major historic sites. Additionally, we were a short walk from all the restaurants. I loved our stay; thank you, Silvia.

The apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. It is centrally located and is near the Duomo as well as shopping. Emma was very helpful and even helped us with dinner reservations. The apartment has a washer and dryer which is very handy when traveling for a long time. We will certainly stay again when back in Florence.

Great communication with the host throughout the entire process from booking to checkout. Nice large apartment for our group of 6 adults- each couple with their own large bedroom and bathroom, living area with 2 large sofas, and a laundry area. Possibly the best part was that the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. All of this in a very good location close to everything yet in a more quiet neighborhood area. Would definitely recommend this to others.

This was a wonderful apartment in a wonderful location. Silvia was great in correspondence leading up to the check-in and Emma and Yoshie were on site and simply fabulous! They were responsive to all our requests and made the check-in/check-out so easy. The apartment is clean, comfortable and lovely furnishings. Beds are comfortable and plenty of space for everyone. We were there with our family of five - me, my husband and our three children ages 16, 14 and 14. It was great and deserves all 5 stars!

We stayed as an extended family of 7 and would come back again! Communication was prompt, the place was as described but most importantly, to us, it was within walking distance of so much! This was our first time to Florence and we would love to come back and stay here again.

This location was a great location & such a cute apartment! One of the reasons I picked this place was because it would be the middle of our trip and we could use the washer & dryer. We were able to pack lighter because of this. The lift elevator was nice. It gets loud on the street below at night but we brought earplugs (we’ve learned it’s loud everywhere at night in Italy). The hosts were great & booked our taxi to the train station.

Everything was great! Host Emma was extremely helpful and was right there when we needed her.

Wonderful stay at very nice apartment.
Comfortable beds. Thanks.
Close to grocery was very nice.
Tijuana Mexican restaurant just across the street was fantastic. Ate there twice.
Entry foyer was dark and climb up stairs was steep. Lift was small but served its purpose.
Overall good visit and walked to all the major Florence attractions. Very nice to have both a washer and dryer. Thanks to the Host.

What a perfect location! We were five minutes away from the Duomo, Santa Croce and an easy walk to the Arno. The apartment was clean and bright and large enough for our group of 5 to fit comfortably. The air conditioning was a blissful reprieve from the hot summer days in Florence!

We had three couples, and there was plenty of room. The apartment was very clean. We had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment in Florence. We were a family of 4 and had plenty of space in the apartment. The apartment is centrally located in the heart of Florence and walkable to all sights, shopping, museums, etc. There are also many great restaurants and bars nearby for eating/drinking out, so you don't have to go far. The check-in process was great and Emma was so helpful throughout our stay. We plan to reserve this same place if we come back in the future! I highly recommend.

We loved this apartment and would definitely stay again. Lots of space for 6 people, we had 5. The bedrooms were well furnished, decent closet/shelf space. master bath had a great walk in closet and bathroom. All bathrooms were larger then your average Italian bathroom. It was clean and lovely. Emma, the property manager was the icing on the cake. She was patient with our check in and assisted us more than once with transportation needs and travel advice. This is a place to consider for future travel to Florence!

We had an amazing time in Florence and this was such a great location! Close enough to walk to all the major tourist spots, but not exactly on a main road with a ton of foot traffic. Check in process was easy and the space is huge! The only thing was the air conditioning wasn’t really working since it was 99 degrees everyday. I would suggest to add more fans to the apartment for the summer when its very hot. Other than that it was really really great, we would stay here again!

The welcome from the host was slightly uncomfortable do to her telling us that everything is antique or art making us feel like we can’t be at a place to stay but a museum. The parking was down the the street but was not include in the price even though the amenities list stated parking. The parking was expensive per night. Also this place stated a cloths dryer would be available but was broken. The host was unaccommodating to provide reimbursement to use the local laundry mat. Not to mention the lost of time waiting for your cloths to dry at the laundry mat on vacation. These items were all an unexpected cost. The place otherwise was nice clean.

We had a lovely stay. We had a bit of an issue upon arrival that was quickly fixed. We appreciate the kindness shown to our family. One of the nicest places we have stayed on our vacation.

We had a great stay here. The location is excellent and the property has air conditioning and a washer dryer. The property manager really helped us out when we left our passports there by mistake. We are eternally grateful.

We had a party of five people and needed a reasonably specific layout, and this apartment fit perfectly. Located in the heart of the city, it was a 20-minute walk to all of the significant sites. We felt very safe, loved the amenities, and highly recommend it if you are visiting Florence. The check-in/check-out process was smooth, and we had informative and timely communications with the property managers.

The apartment was spacious, very well cared for, and in an ideal location for visiting all of the sites of Florence. Checking in and out was easy, and Emma was responsive to all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Florence.

This apartment provides a compelling combination of size, location, and value. Our group of 6 adults had a great time here.
First, the apartment is very clean and comfortable. The photos give a good idea of the apartment, but I would say it is actually a bit larger in real life than the photos show, particularly the living room. There is a bath for each bedroom which is very convenient. Check in and out with Emma went very smoothly, she is great in explaining everything in the apartment and what is in the neighborhood.
The location is also great. It's near many of the major sights - Duomo, Santa Croce, Uffizi, Piazza Signoria, Bargello, etc. Also Pino's and Antico Vinaio if you want sandwiches.
If you are looking for a good place to stay in Florence that is convenient and clean, and have a larger group, we would recommend that you consider this apartment.

Wonderful location and perfect size for our family of six. Everything we wanted to do was within a few minutes walk. Communication was easy and the host was responsive. The host does not allow early check-ins but she gave us a good recommendation for a luggage storage place, which is really all we needed. The noise from the restaurant below the apartment can get a bit loud at times if you have the windows open but it did not bother us. We would definitely stay here again.
5.0
The apartment is very well appointed and comfortable and in a perfect location. All the main sights of Florence are within easy walking distance, and the area is filled with excellent restaurants and shops. Don’t miss this excellent home from home.
