Nice location for price.
Sadly, I fell unwell with food poisoning and had to leave at midnight. So, I did not stay the fullnight. I apologised for not being able to clean up and received a cleaning fee, which was understandable. However, the response I received from the owner was not kind despite my explanation.

The rooms were beautiful ….. we got 2 and they were individually decorated and immaculately clean

Het huis en de ligging en omgeving
Het is jammer dat er geen kookgelegenheid is maar dat is ook het enige

Lovely house with beautiful grounds. Very convenient location
Information about the digital key process, and timescales when you’ll be visible on app not clear. Really great system- just need to have info to say will not be available until day of check-in and make more clear.
Also, on arrival as digital access, no ‘map’ of where room located, so not clear where to find room- needed to just ‘wander’ around looking to find. After a long journey on a Fri night, not ideal.

The location, very peaceful.

Easy check-in/out, quiet location close to Park & Ride, property very clean, well maintained and tastefully furnished, very comfortable large beds. Didn't meet any staff, but very helpful on phone when booking.
Totally minor issue which in no way took away from our experience: light bulb in ceiling light not working, similarly over-mirror shaving light. There were enough lamps and lights to compensate, so we did not worry.

A very clean and comfortable room well located to Cambridge

Location
Amenities were very poor more suitable for a 1st at hotel!!
4.0
Modern, comfortable, well equipped, own heating control, perfect location and very quiet despite proximity of the motorway.
Would have liked additional option of herbal or Earl Grey tea.

Sköna sängar
Ont om toalettpapper.. en väldigt liten tvål. Lite lyhört.

Very close to city center, the hotel is situated in a quite country area.
We like the motel style rooms.
Rooms were clean and well equipped.
As the room is accessed from the garden, it's big window can feel like a fish tank, as other residents walk pass to a full view of your bedroom.

Poor diagram on our checkin instructions!

Quiet, peaceful, lovely grounds yet still close enough to city
No shower gel / shampoo provided. No on-site restaurant or bar

Location in country setting just off M11 junction but no noticeable noise thanks to good double glazing. Room was clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. Self check-in was well arranged for late arrival. Large private and secure parking. Proximity to Cambridge park and ride and a pleasant direct walk to city center approx4km distant.
Noise from the bedroom below on ground floor.
The kitchen area only contain kettle and basic tea/coffee. Could be improved with addition of small refrigerator, microwave and basic plates cutlery etc. No on site facilities for breakfast.

The property is set in beautiful grounds. Well maintained a beautiful location.
There wasn’t anything to dislike

Last time it was okay,
but this time they turned off the refrigerator and asked me more money to turned it on. Also they turned off the oven, i told them i need to protect the food but the man did not help. They never provide a single bottle of drinking water.
They did not tell me earlier about refrigerator and oven unavailability, when i reached there they turned off both and asked more money to turn on again.
Also they never provide a single bottle of drinking water.

Possibly the greenery outside , however you need to consider no breakfast or other meals available at the property, you need to drive to other places and on weekends they are all very busy
Small, not very clean rooms , even the “ premier “ one. Toilets are also small with just a cheap soap and no other amenities.
Atrocious customer relations

The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and helpful. Lovely views and quiet location

All nice as usual!
The vending machine is not working properly. It is not a money problem but it charges the goods and these remain in the machine, because the dispensing coil it is not adjusted properly. You need to paid twice to have a product dispenced. Quite disturbing...

Location lovely and rooms spacious and well appointed
Good parking
No shampoo in bathroom
Too strict on check-in time 3pm
Bin hadn't been emptied although room spotless.
Strange no breakfast especially with room price.
Shower ran cold in house rooms

The main property itself was beautiful.
Upon arrival we found that there was no welcoming reception to check in, check in was exposed envelopes with guests names clearly visible for others to see - anyone could pick any of the other guests envelopes! Upon entering room 9, the decor was not to our liking but mostly clean and tidy. The mattress on the bed was horrendous! It was the cheapest most nasty mattress and we would not sleep on it. We had to search to find a staff member to help, who was rude, claiming the room and mattress were “brand new”, that may be the case but we’ve purchased better mattresses for £50!! She reluctantly agreed for us to move to another room which was actually a downgrade from £140 room to £92 room - and we received no compensation for it. A further £50 holding fee was taken, without informing us, and this was not mentioned in any of the booking documentation. There was no breakfast included as described and upon arrival at the recommended venue (a 35 minute walk away), discovered it was closed! All in all, while the property is appealing to the eye and the grounds are beautiful it’s a shame the lack of service and attention to detail let’s the place down completely. We will not return nor could we recommend it in good conscious.

Convenience of parking at the property
Poor check-in, just envelopes with people's names placed all together outside the main reception for each person to take themselves.
No staff to support in directing you to your room, answer any questions you may have about your stay or the local area.
Bedroom not as described or same as in pictures.
Wasp nest in extractor fan in bathroom leading to a room of angry wasps.
Metal bed (photographed and advertised as an oak wooden bedframe) that was painted to mimic a wooden bed. It squeaked and screeched every time you attempted to sit on it, never mind, have a comfortable night sleep!
Footpath to local town/pub/sights was a field with minimal directions.
The manager, Roger, is very rude and unwilling to listen to concerns.
Completely ruined out 22nd anniversary as we had to leave!

A great location with superior flair! The self-check-in is easy and the rooms are very comfy and clean!

The setting was beautiful, the room was lovely. We enjoyed walking to and from The Plough and were very impressed with the level of signage (though the gate was quite hard to spot on the way back).
We were given one small bar of soap but no other items to clean ourselves with - shower gel, shampoo etc. This seemed a bit parsimonious. We had to repeatedly transfer the bar of soap between the sink and the shower. And the complete absence of any hotel staff meant that there was no one we could ask for an additional bar of soap. It was lucky we were only staying for two nights as the soap would not have lasted another day!

Self book in book out. Basic facilities, but room nice, comfy bed, quiet and beautiful location and nice to just chill. Would visit again.
Room very hot. No shampoo.

The area was really nice.
I didn't like the wooden bed, kept banging my head on the headboard.

Well located and lovely clean rooms.
Our room was more quite before when we stayed. This time we were in the main building and it was more noisy for a long time.
