The little room off the kitchen is really nice. Their patience with us was great. We came on the ferry from Calais that was late getting into Dover and the hostel’s door takes a code they give you as well as a coded door receptacle to get in your room. With these codes you don’t need to see the staff, if you come after hours.
No parking on-site, we had to park on the street near the hostel not knowing if we were legally parked.

Close access to train station and shops
Strange that spare towels and pillows taken off second bed in room as soon as I advised which bed I would sleep in. Only place that held opportunity to take fifty pound from my visa if any damages
Tea and coffee in kitchen but no milk.

Nothing at all!
It is a place to AVOID big time!!!
Everything was wrong with the place since we arrived.
The person who opened the door was rude and really unhelpful.
The pace was dirty, and even the shower had somebody else's hair!!
NO KITCHEN!
The mattress in the bed was like 1.20m long so even the shortest person would have their feet sticking out the bed!???
There was noise all night long, banging doors, people walking up and down being so loud.. you can hear everything that happens in the place.
The place was so smelly, it stank of tobacco and humidity, and smoking is not allowed inside, but it was obvious that there were people smoking.
We got charged extra because we were a couple, and the guy in the door wouldn't let us in unless we paid him more money!!
we were not allowed to keep our bikes in a safe place unless we paid extra, and then we had to bring the bikes to the room where there was already no space at all...
I mean an absolute awful experience in every aspect.
I have more to say, but it is all negative and is not worth it.

Basic room close to the harbour. Everything's in there what you need for a night.
Parking situation is a bit difficult. Room maybe too tiny for 2 people. Very noisy during the night, because rain was dripping on a zinc plate directly under my window.

Close to the ferry, pretty much as we expected based on the reviews.
Difficult to check in with phone number on door not matching that on booking.com. No hot water (lukewarm) in the room. Advertise a shared kitchen, it’s a microwave, kettle, and fridge.

Location was good-ish
Everything from the person running it to the arctic climate inside the room. The window doesn’t serve as an insulation of sound or temperature. The bed was not comfy but bearable.

Close to the bus stop and downtown. Not busy at the time of my visit, Feb 2023. Room was cleaned during my 2 nights stay.
There is a nonstop petrol station right across the street so light sleepers may consider using earplugs. Rooms are tiny but probably ok for two people who like each other.

I booked this place for my sister who had unfortunately lost her credit card and couldn't return to london due to train cancellation.
Everything was decent except the manager or receptionist of this Hotel, was very rude to my sister and was not patient at all. I am very upset about this, it was a disgrace!
Staff behaviour towards my sister during stressful times.
