Buen trato y desayuno y buena ubicación

La amabilidad y buena atención del personal. Las instalaciones son modestas pero más que suficientes para pasar unos dias. El buffet del alumuerzo muy correcto, había prácticamente de todo y estaba bueno. Buena ubicación, cerca del puerto de S'Arenal y de la playa.

Por poner un pero seria el aparcamiento, ya que está en una zona con poco aparcamiento, pero hay una explanada a 5 min. a pie donde poder dejarlo si no encuentras algo más cerca.

Muy buena relación calidad precio

Hotel muy cómodo y agradable, personal amable, buen desayuno, cama muy cómoda, estupenda relación calidad precio. En un extremo de El Arenal, pero muy cerca del autobús de Palma (aproximadamente 30 min de trayecto) y del aeropuerto (15-20 min de trayecto)

mi habitación era un poco pequeña, otras eran de tamaño superior, pero para una persona, mas que suficiente. En el baño no había mas que los dispensadores de gel de ducha y de jabón de manos. Un vaso no hubiese estado mal.

Good location, good value

Staff were friendly and helpful, particularly those on duty at breakfast and at reception in the evening, and the room cleaning staff. Quality of breakfast is very good with a good range of options - although vegan options were very limited. Dining area is pleasant with lots of natural light and views overlooking the pool area and the woodland area to the side of the hotel. Location is good: the hotel is a 15 minute walk to the beach, however it has a pleasant pool area, and it is very close to a good supermarket (Mercadona - closed on Sundays) and other useful shops, a pharmacy (which is open until 22:00), a children's playground, and a bus stop on the route to the airport. Two rooms were booked and as requested they were close to each other - opposite each other. Our party included a child in each room and one of the rooms had a walk in shower only while the other room had shower/bathtub, which meant the children (aged 4 and 18 months) could enjoy a bath each day. Don't know if this was thoughtful room selection by the hotel or happy coincidence, but mentioning it in case relevant to room requests - impression is that hotel will do its best to match requests. Two English language TV stations available - these are BBC News and a Disney channel (very useful). While the hotel bar (which is next to the pool area) closed early evening (may be different in high season - we were start of May), there is a bar with al fresco seating nearby (2 minute leisurely walk). Overall, excellent value.

The balcony design includes vertical bars rather than a solid barrier. Won't bother everyone, but gave me the heebie-jeebies re the children, so not used much, which was a shame.

Nice Spot, lovely Hotel.

Safe Swimming pool with lifeguard, brilliant, quality breakfast with lots of varieties. Friendly, caring & respectful staffs.

No parking except at the open land spaces about 5-7minutes walk from the hotel.

Dont have parking. That is one very big problems. Because need spend 30-40min finded the spaces for car.

The location is good, very close to bus stations. The room was big and it was pretty clean. We had breakfast and dinner included, both of them were great every single day.

The furniture in the room seemed to be pretty old. Also we did not enjoy the fact that the balcony was very close to another building.

great stay at Alea, great rooms, wonderful breakfast, british or continental, only issue was location from beach was up big hill which didn't help having some elderly gents in the group who struggled walking up from beach and bar/restaurant area.

Good place for family :)

Receptionist Islam is a polite guy, he solved all the questions we asked. Thank you. Some administrators speak Russian. Who likes walks, to the sea to go uphill and downhill for 10-15 minutes, depending on the pace. The hotel borders on the forest, it is quieter here than in the other part of the city. Close to mini markets, souvenir shops. The restaurant in the hotel serves delicious food with a good selection. Near the reception there is free cold water with lemon and a paid vending machine with drinks. Good thing there is a pool. At noon, we left the beach and were in the pool with umbrellas and sun loungers. There is a bar

The room unfortunately smells of dampness. The air conditioner saved us... And the ants... The receptionist gave us insect repellent, though we had to do everything ourselves... There was not enough small fridge for drinks and food in the room. I would like to buy myself what I like, but there is nowhere to store.

Excellent little hotel, apart from one member of staff.

Excellent choice for breakfast, both hot & cold, constantly being replenished. Overall the hotel was spotlessly clean.

One member of staff in the poolside bar, (only bar in the hotel), completely took the shine off the holiday, (think her name was Anna). She was rude and plainly did not know her job. Just one example in a list of many things-The bar shut at 11pm and on one particular night we ordered drinks at 10.55 and sat outside, where at 11pm she turned the lights off and told us and others to leave! Quite where we were supposed to go with our drinks, she couldn't tell us. Every time that we used the bar when she was on, she plainly didn't want anyone in there!

Pathetic n unhygenic place to stay

We didnt like the place at all...it was pathetic exp fr us..the photos shows more than the actual reality..rooms r so compact,. Twin beds wt uncomfortbl mattress. Bed linen r tored up n had holes in it...

Just fr sake breakfast was ok but rest all is very bad..i wont recommended to book this place fr any couple n family atleast

Very lovely and affordable place with great breakfast!

The hotel located in a pretty good yet calm area and the beach is near. The rooms were clean and tidy and the balcony made it really comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing.

The rooms were a little smaller than we expected. The staff was very friendly, however they weren't really up to date and even though they really wanted to help, not always been able even with small things like recommending car rental.

Should have chosen another Hotel.

Moderate breakfast and friendly staff. Convenient with nearby restaurants and convenient store's.

Ac was more like a fan that blew some air that was slightly cold, but couldn't keep the room cold (when they write AC you expect a cold room. The pharmacy and the Tobacco shop had better AC's). Safe box cost €3/day extra. The guy in the bar didn't speak good English (we got a sparkling wine and white wine when we ordered a big beer and a Martini). The pool area looked bigger at the pictures. Poorly cleaned room (especially under the beds). The shampoo and shower gel that the cleaning lady left each day wasn't enough to put on your whole body and your hair (if you had long hair). The shampoo was really bad for the hair. The bathroom had poor ventilation. If the floor got wet, it stayed wet until cleaning.
