Rooms are nice and big, pool is lovely and the location is great.
We booked 5 days instead of 4 and tried to cancel immediately but there was no way for us to cancel one day or get a partial refund. That was disappointing. Furthermore, we did not have WiFi for 2 out of the 4 days that we stayed there and you never know whether you have hot water or not. Electricity keeps disconnecting as well. We were told that this was due to an accident on the island but it was already happening before the accident. Breakfast is also very disappointing but the staff - especially MG - was very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very very kind and housekeeping did an excellent and quick job on keeping the rooms clean every day. That was highly appreciated! There's also a large pool with a view of Koh Samui, which was nice. And you can rent scooters directly at the hotel, which you should definitely to get around easier, there's not much accessible by foot here.
Though the staff tried to make things better, we're unfortunately very disappointed with this resort.
Upon arrival we had booked a transfer service from the ferry, which they charged at 400THB. The driver asked us to quickly wait for 10mins to pick up more guests from another ferry, but we ended up waiting for a whole hour! We could have been driven to the hotel and back in that time. Not off to a good start, but the hotel gave us a 100THB discount on the transport, fine i guess.
Our room was very dark and small, you could only really walk around the bed and in the bathroom, plus you could see directly into the neighbors rooms so we had to keep our blinds shut at all time.
Then we found a gigantic cockroach in our room, which made me not want to stay there anymore, but we couldn't complain to the front desk because the reception is closed after 10pm. Contacted booking, and the hotel gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with a jacuzzi on the balcony, which was great but turns out the drain wouldn't close so we couldn't even use it - bummer.
The resort overall is quite outdated and dull unfortunately: breakfast is alright, spa is unused unless you ask the reception though it looked very unwelcoming and dirty when we peeked in, there's a dirty pond in the middle and nothing else to do really, which is why we spent most our time outside of the resort, and overall you could tell that it had lots of cracks here and there so it's not really what it once used to be.

First and foremost, the staff were absolutely warm welcoming, friendly, and helpful. From the warm welcome upon arrival to the attentive service throughout my stay, every staff displayed courtesy, and a genuine desire to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They went above and beyond to cater to my needs and requests, making us feel like a valued guest at all times.
The resort facilities were simply outstanding. The room we stayed in was spacious, elegantly decorated, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness. The comfortable bed, and signature amenities provided a truly indulgent experience. The room's design and decorations were evident and well appreciated.
We were also thoroughly impressed by the resort's beautiful surroundings. The well-maintained gardens, stunning views, and serene atmosphere created a truly tranquil and relaxing environment. Whether I was lounging by the pool, taking a leisurely walk through the landscaped grounds, or enjoying a meal on the outdoor by the beach, we couldn't help but feel rejuvenated by the natural beauty that surrounded us.
Finally, the resort on its commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices. It was heartening to see the efforts made to minimize the environmental impact, such as waste reduction initiatives, and the use of locally sourced products. This demonstrated your dedication to preserving the natural beauty of the surrounding area, and it resonated to our personal value.
The breakfast order service did not meet our expectations.
The delivery of the breakfast order was all confused by the staff who just got trained.
Orders were taken and acknowledged however everyone seemed to be confused with their own menu. Dishes that we ordered the same, were prepared differently. Various dishes that we did not order, were delivered causing massive waste of the resort catering resources. This experience left us dissatisfied and questioning the attention to detail and basic food knowledges and understanding of the staff.
We had 6 days stay and it was a real struggle on every breakfast order with unnecessary stress to the staff and other guests.

Everything. The resort is so peaceful and quiet, we didn’t leave it for the two nights we where there, it had everything we wanted. The food in the restaurant was outstanding and so where the staff. The cocktails weren’t too bad either!
In the early evening the staff brought a nice surprise to your room, sticky mango rice.
The handmade soap, shower gel and conditioner shampoo where beautiful in the room. I couldn’t recommend this resort enough for your stay in Koh Phangan. I would give it 10 out of 10😍

Chantaramas are like the home you always dream about, always clean and comfortable. Most wonderful is people who make it all work. A wonderful team of Chantaramas, Mint, Krystine and young intern Fern at the reception will help you with any questions you come up with while staying at this quiet and peaceful resort.

Chantaramas it is a pleasant staying all over, on the reception Mint and Christen, and many more whom I unfortunately don't know by the names are so nice, so helpful and so good in hospitality. Super happy all the time. And of course the Bed is beyond comfortable, like being hugged by clouds

Food, drinks, beach, massages, pool and beach were really nice! Nice stay, and atmosphere considering it was around the time of the full moon party.
There was a lack water being provided on a daily basis for free.

we stayed here for 2 nights for the halfmoon party and Songkran. Very friendly helpful staff, arranged taxis for us and pre-book tickets for the festival which were sold out online. One thing I’d like to mention is that we arranged for pier transfer via the hotel which I had forgotten I’d already paid for on my room bill, I then paid the hotel driver when we got to the pier (he didn’t know we had already paid but handed the money over to the hotel staff when he got back) they then text and called me to say I’d double paid and how can they give this back to me. I didn’t have a Thai bank account so this was hard but the lady at reception came up with the idea that at the next hotel we was going to (phi phi) to call her when we were at reception and she would speak to our hotel in phi phi to arrange a bank transfer between them and they give me the cash. Very thankful to her for coming up with this solution and being honest that we had over paid! I wish I knew her name to personally mention but you know who you are!

Everything about this hotel was excellent. Its location right next to Haad Rin beach, where the full moon party is, its amazing facilities, helpful staff and cleanliness. The rooms were very spacious and the pool was right next to the beach, treating us to a beautiful view. I strongly recommend this hotel.
Prices are a bit expensive, including that of services like transport, car rental, etc..

We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to others. The staff were amazing, the location is great, and we truly appreciated how accommodating the hotel staff was towards our needs.
The facility is a bit old and can use some updates but otherwise beautiful with great amenities.

this place is literally a scam .
4000 baht per night for a broken full of bugs place which really ruined my stay in koh panghan.
barely speaking english staff which wasn’t so much of a help couldn’t make my stay worst.
the room is all falling apart as literally almost every thing we had there either were broken or just stopped working ( wifi , hot water, etc ) and so on and so on.
with breakfast full of bugs , not fresh , and with a bad ocean location that almost gets your plate to fall off didn’t really made the stay better.
stay away from this place as there are lots of other way better hotels for the same price :(

The photos don't show half of the beauty of this place. The staff was kind and helpful at all times. The highlight was definitely the breakfast. Both the buffet and the space where it is served(right in front of the beach) were amazing. Rooms are spacious and the bed is VERY comfortableI(mattress is great and big). The pool area is also very nice. They have a spa just next to the beach where you can get a relaxing Thai massage for a fair price.
Thought the room as a bit too dark. I love low lights but you couldn't see anything in the bathroom mirror or the closet. It was a bit hard to do my hair and makeup for a party I attended. Also missed a full body mirror.

Loved the beach and pool. Very comfortable room. Spacious. Loved bathrobes in room and beach bag for towels. Excellent breakfast. Clean and beautiful area.

this is Thailand and a small island so take it in proportion, overall very good.
great staff and hospitality, convenience, quiet, food was ok not great.

This place was simply fabulous! Beautiful room, tasty breakfast and lovely gardens. Staff was always nice and helpful!
Some of the tiles in the pool were missing and thus looked a bit shabby. But this is hardly a big deal.

- The pool was big and located on the beach 2 meters from the ocean.
- The staff is great. I would like to mention especially Soi from the restrarant team, who is super nice and funny and made our trip much better.
- The hotel staff takes care of 4 sweet dogs.
- There is no staff in the hotel after 10 pm till the morning
