Love it !

Beautiful retreat . We came in winter and had pretty much the entire lodge to ourselves . Was lovely . Cheryl and Arum do a good job running the place . Place is clean and breakfast is delicious . View is spectacular

A lovely stay in a beautiful location.

Beautiful location, the room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and breakfast was good, it was lovely to eat overlooking the lake. It was peaceful and quiet.

No real complaints other than the pillows were not the best.

Exceptional

Fantastic location, great facilities and the staff are incredible! I stayed with my girlfriend and we had to change plans at short notice due to work commitments and leave earlier than anticipated. When we checked with the staff what do at checkout they made sure we had breakfast and coffee before our drive home before breakfast was due to start. I honestly can't fault this place!

Beautiful, Lakefront location but not near the town center.

Lakefront location with amazing views of Lake Rotorua.

3 miles from the town center, but Uber is available. Hottub was dirty and ran down.

The location was beautiful. The grounds were lovely. It was close to town, just a short drive.

The pillows weren't particularly comfortable.

The breakfast was average. Many items “out of stock”. Resulted in very basic options.

Slice of paradise

From the moment we stepped through the door we were made to feel like royalty. Arun, the host, definitely made us feel welcome. Food was amazing and plentiful. We enjoyed the kayaks, lounging on the beautifully manicured lawn by the lake and playing cards by the fireplace in the lounge. Thanks for having us.

I can't fault anything. Thank you so much for a much needed escape.

Amazing property with all the comforters a vacationer would want

This lodge was secluded on the most beautiful property. It is not too far from the city center but far enough that you feel like you've escaped all of the high tourist areas. It had private access to the lake (complete with kayaks, a dock, and a hot tub over looking the water). The breakfast in the morning was included and was incredible! We were so impressed with the helpfulness and kindness of the staff. We wished we had been able to stay longer.

Beautiful location about 5-10min drive out of Rotorua (bonus was that there was no sulphur smell). We stayed in room number 6 which had excellent lake views and a super comfy bed. Breakfast was terrific. Great value for money.

Beautiful lakeside location. So peaceful.

This is not 5 star. Waffles are from a packet, not homemade. Many things did not work. Dishes are cleaned without dishwash liquid meaning everything is smeary. We booked here because of the spa by the lake….. but it wasn’t working.
