Rooftop, Yoga morgends
Viel zu wenig Platz in Küche für ein Hostel und dann war immer Putzpersonal dort, Kabinen in Dorms sind super eng, seitlicher Zugang wäre besser

Great location, friendly and helpful stuff :)
the only thing that our room was really noisy during the night. we heard the ventilation system but with air plugs we slept very comfortable.

Les espaces extérieurs (piscine, terrasse panoramique), la chambre et la proximité avec le centre du village
La salle de bain partagée (minuscule et sâle), la proximité du traffic routier, le manque d’insonorisation de la chambre

Welcome drink was lovely, very sociable hostel. In a good location and good price. Amazing views and a good variety of activities available. Free parking nearby.
Communal areas were not very clean and often cluttered. The kitchen is very small for the amount of guests. Wooden bunks creaked and the bathroom wasn't very clean.

I loved Selina Ericeira, I had a great time here! The staff is amazing, always taking care of you , the rooms are great and they have really nice facilities and activities like free yoga in the morning and welcome drinks! They just open a new restaurant and the breakfast its really really good with great value for money! The location its central really next to the vila, bus station and supermarket. They also have a really nice small pool and rooftop! Would definitely recommend, I will be back soon!

It is a very good location, a few steps from the center, bus stop in front. The supermarket is very close. The bed is very comfortable, with a curtain for privacy. The staff is amazing!
I stayed in a room for 4 people which is small and in front of the kitchen where there was a lot of noise 24 hours a day. Several people who stayed in that room gave up. The bathroom was always wet and dirty. The kitchen was small for the number of guests.

The people I have met at Selina
Next to city center
- Not a surfhouse at all: the staff does not know about surf, no information on weather conditions/best spots & the surf classes are for absolute beginners only. The yoga class is not a "yoga for surfers" class. No spots to leave your surfboard, no spot to dry your wetsuit... and I could go on. There was no 'surfing vibe' at Selina Ericeira, it is just a hostel.
- The dorms are crowded and storage space way insufficient. The beds are arranged in a way to maximize the capacity of the room and make you feel like you are a rabbit in a cage. They made me feel claustrophobic (which I am not). The kitchen, the showers and toilets are ridiculously small and way insufficient considering the hostel's capacity. Opening/closing lockers is very noisy.
- There was no breakfast and they still charge 1.50 EUR for a coffee... The hostel reception is a shop. Which makes you understand the kind of vibe of the hostel.
- Poor communication on the activities organised. If you use Selina's app, the information you will find there may not be accurate / complete as the Corporate and local Selina seem to be run very independently.
- Rooftop: only one parasol for the entire hostel.
I would maybe be happy with it if I had paid 20 euros a night, but I have paid more than 4x this price.
Overall, very disappointed with my stay at Selina, but I have made new friends.
I have traveled a lot and been to many hostels and surfhouses of different size/quality/price, and Selina Ericeira is below my quality/price standards.
Save your money and go to local surfhouses where you will find a nicer vibe and much more activities.

Perfect Location and very social. Staff was very nice and free Yoga was amazing. Plenty of places to hang out
No lockers or anything to store your luggage in the dorm room. 20 bed dorm was too small for the amount of people and I didn’t like that I couldn’t lock up my valuables. The lockers they provide only locks with a huge lock, a regular padlock won’t work. Kitchen is tiny and one of the bathrooms is covered in mold. I still enjoyed my stay but value for money is not that great

They refunded me completely
This place is a youth hostel with the prices of a good quality hotel. It is NOT coliving. Dont go there if you need to work!
A shared room costs more than 100 eur a day, with external bathroom extremely small, stinky and dirty.
At night I couldn't sleep until 3 because the room was next to the kitchen where 20 yo people were drinking and partying, although the rule was quiet time after 11 pm. The staff was gone so nobody cared.
At 6 am there was chaos again.
I slept 3 hours and next day I had to work - again impossible because there is not even a proper coworking there.
I had to pay to go to a real Coworking in town.
A disaster. After 1 night, I opened up a complaint and went to sleep somewhere else although I booked 7 nights.
Only positive thing, I got the money back.

Great location and good amenities
Super loud early mornings, and this wasn’t by guests but mainly staff members having loud conversations and laughs in the hallways. Rooms smell, no fresh towels provided.

Clean and good interior design.
Staff was not accommodating or flexible about breakfast and not informative when a yoga class was canceled.

Perfect spot for solo female travellers - they organise lots of activities (free and paid) like yoga surf surfskate and met lots of new friends!
Rooms are extremely clean and tidy.
Common spaces are cosy and well designed.
Management are so friendly and responsive.
Ericeira is a great area - tons of things to do and see.
Kitchen is a bit small and dirty - but that is more because of the other guests rather than the management
Beds are REALLY creaky
Shared rooms are not really set up for large groups -- need more shelving, hooks, storage areas etc.
Cleaning staff are quite noisy.
Surf classes are rather expensive (compared with Asia!)

Staff weren’t the most friendly.

the location
there is not enough space in the dorm form everyone’s stuff, 3 showers and 3 toilets for 20 people is not enough, toilets and showers don’t get cleaned enough.

really good vibe, enjoyed all the activities they offered and the restaurant by the pool - the fact that they are pet friendly is also a very good plus
nothing - would have loved to stay longer to enjoy more activities

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. They helped us with everything we needed or wanted to know. The activities offered by the hostel were fun. The common areas were clean and cozy. The pool with the view was my favorite part.
We liked everything. It would be nice to have specialty coffee available in the restaurant area. Also, the breakfast was the same every day but they are just reopening the restaurant area.

Very nice hostel and lovely staff. Would definitely go again. Room was quiet, guests were nice and respectful to others.
Only thing I can think of what could've been better is the size of the kitchen. Was a little bit crowded in the morning, but not too bad. :)
