Good hardware, and good food

Very bad of Breakfast ticket issue. I booked with breakfast, but counter told me no breakfast. I understand that might not DormyInn’s mistake, not counter staff mistake, but still feel unhappy. And finally the issue have been clarified and I had my breakfast, but the last day, staff mentioned me again that no breakfast and I need to pay, even in front of other customers. That made me so mad. Finally I had my breakfast, but the feeling not well. Counter lady staff has good attitude, but who wants to be treated as breakfast cheater? Booking better make it clear.

Great place for overnight stop to see Himeji Castle and take a relaxing dip in the onsen

Conveniently located near Himeji station, walking distance to Himeji castle, nice onsen and complimentary ramen in the evening was a plus!

Stay was very enjoyable.

Location was great, very convenitnet to the train station and not far from Himeji Castle and Gardens and the Museum of Literature. Breakfast was terrific. Onsen was lovely and I liked the inclusion of the cold pool.

Water was not hot enough in either of the hot pools at the onsen.

金額相応で特に不満無し

駅からのアクセスが良かった。温泉も気軽に使えて良かったし部屋も満足でした。夜食蕎麦の無料サービスがあるのを知りましたが、夕飯を食べ過ぎてたべられなかったのが少しだけ残念でした。今度宿泊する際は是非食べてみたいと思います。

特に不満はありませんでした。強いて言えば２台目のスマホのWi-Fiが繋がらなかった事ですが、スマホ側の原因かもしれません。あとウェルカムサービスは欲を言えば地域の銘菓だと良かったですが、予算上これは贅沢な欲求ですね。

Location, bus to castle across the road.

Hotel staff were not happy to give us tattoo patches for the Onsen. They did but we could tell it was frowned upon.

Great value with beautiful onsen

The indoor and outdoor facilities on top of the hotel were excellent! The midnight snack was a big portion of ramen freshly prepared at the hotel restaurant. The room was quite big and very clean and comfortable. We dropped off the luggage before check in and it was put to our room when we got back from the day trip.

This hotel is just amazing in every respect: the staff, the wide choice of delicious food for breakfast, the complimentary treats available from the hotel, and not to forget the natural thermal water onsen on the top floor. If you stay there, do not miss this!!! Relaxing in the hot water under the starry night sky, impossible to describe.

Overall stay is pleasant

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Location is good as it is near to the train station and also there are quite a few restaurants near to the hotel.

very acceptable short stay to visit Himeji castle. thank you

I liked the onsen and the refreshments. The breakfast buffet was a good variety of Japanese food and western. we were very pleased. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

There was no coffee in the room however there was free coffee in reception.

Great location, easy to get to from the train station. Multiple baths for the Onsen.

Got two attached rooms with 3 people. They gave us two keys for the one room but none for the second room. Night staff appeared to lack training for foreigners, morning staff was more comfortable communicating. Comfort of beds/room could be improved, hotel is old but very clean; however, rooms could use updating.

The usual good service from Dormy Inn : onsen, ice cream, evening noodles very close to the station, and car rental "Times" is in the same building

The room furniture is bit old, the curtain a not covering well sunlight in the morning

Very close to the station. Hot spring with free ice cream. Free ramen in the evening’s.

Staff seemed to struggle serving me even though I spoke Japanese. They seemed very nervous. Having to hand your key in every time you leave is a minor nuisance.

the old man at the reception is very polite and dedicated. He always bows and I can feel his passion in serving guests. I have been staying in many hotels along my trip and so far he is the best and left a great impression although I didn’t interact with him.

- Great location, one block from the Himeji train station, lots of restaurants + shops around - Happy with the connecting rooms, great for older kids - Great two toilets and two sinks setup...

- Wish the two beds can be pushed together in the main room - Wish the keys were key-cards vs. actual keys - Poor water pressure in the shower

I always know what to expect at a Dormy Inn and am always 100% satisfied.

I love Dormy Inn for many reasons, but the excellent bath, especially when I can luxuriate and look at the night sky before getting a message and then a restful night’s sleep is my main reason for staying at one.

I love everything about Dormy Inns. The management thinks of and attends to every detail for meeting customers needs.
