Great staff, nice pool

The staff were great & the spa was amazing

We booked a villa but they are a two story apartment. We were given an upstairs room which was hot and the aircon struggled to cool the room. They moved us downstairs the next day and the room was so much more comfortable

Great staff, tidy, beautiful surroundings, peaceful area.

Extremely friendly staff. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was super tidy. If you want to have a little retreat from the bustle, then Villa Kayu is a very good option. It’s a matter of course that you’ve a means of transport, since the place is located far away from everything. But it has beautiful surroundings, such a nice view.

Pleasant

The room itself was clean and there is a shuttle service three times a day to the main centre in Ubud.

Photos displayed are not of the Villa location we stayed in but of a surrounding area which we were a bit disappointed about and did not match the environment we stayed in at all. Food was not the best standard. Lizards were in our room for entirety of our stay and the shower leaks all over bathroom floor. Pool was also quite dirty and freezing cold.

Everything was amazing! The location, view, room, pool, and of course the floating breakfast!

The outdoor shower was covered in ants and my partner didn't realise it until the ants were crawling on his shoulders and back!

Amazing rain therapy in the greens

It's quiet with a breathtaking view from the pool. The breakfasts are amazing. Specially cooked for your selection and there are a variety of choices, particularly enjoyed the Healthy and local Indonesia options. My kids and I enjoyed a lot the breakfast in the pool experience. Thank you so much for the staff specially arranged for it tho the weather is not very ideal. Sitting at our chalet watching the rain and greens, definitely a relaxing rain therapy for us.

As it is a wooden chalet, heavy rain had caused leaking thru the wall but nothing major that concerned us.

Right next to a rice field, very serene and calming

Some of the facilities were old. The aircon made a bit of a noise and probably needs a repair

Lovely view of the rice fields from the villa. The breakfast included was lovely and huge. Beds were very comfortable. Free shuttle bus at different times of the day into Ubud central. Quiet and peaceful.

Mould in the bathroom. The 2 bedroom Villa definitely needs some renovations as it is run down and not as new as the photos. Lots of bugs.

Would definitely stay here again. The views, the serenity, the villa... it was all beautiful.

Reception staff were attentive and helpful. Always available. The presentation of the breakfast was amazing - so much effort by the staff! The views from our villa were beautiful. So peaceful!

The beds were a little too firm for my liking. The housekeeping/reception needed reminding to clear breakfast dishes away through the day to stop ants and other animals invading the kitchen area. The trip into town was a little annoying due to the distance and bad traffic but it was worth it to get the views and peace at the villa.

Staffs are super friendly, the place we stay that so clean and tidy, breakfast are so good with many options. You can order floating breakfast as well

Very relaxing, beauty room and staff went the extra step for birthday. Loved everything about it and will stay longer next time. Rantastic room service and great breakfast.

Lots of little beetles at night that teenage kids found frustrating, was not a issue to us just cover drinks when open.

Absolutely everything, it was better then expected and the photos online did not do the property justice. The staff went above and beyond to assist and were extremely welcoming and helpful!! Will definitely be returning when we visit Bali again.

so many ants. absolutely infested and unsanitary. I had to leave early because of the infestation in my room (and I had already moved once)

The staff were incredibly helpful at all times and we got a lovely surprise to celebrate our anniversary when we arrived. There were many amazing breakfast options, and the floating breakfast was definitely worth it. Room service was quick and easy, and the spa features were to die for. we will definitely be back😊

The honeymoon package was a good buy! The evening dinner and massage was a lovely touch

After breakfast the plates didn’t get cleaned up until the next day unless asked. Would of been nice if they came in 1hour after to clear

The wooden villas are very spacious and very clean. The environment is well taken care of and looks very good. The staff is incredible friendly, they try to make your stay as nice as possible.
