Liked the rice fields, staff was courteous and guided us to the important places. We hired scooters to move around. Didn't order much, although food was good. Pool is nice, warm water to swim.
Feels cramped, entrance is small, easy to miss

It’s clean, bright, modern and the staff is wonderful - kind, helpful and available at all times. The menu and food are great.
Connecting room can be issue because of noise, beware. Location - narrow roads, not very appropriate if you will go to the Ubud center every day by car.

Spacious & well-lit room that was similar to the photos, which i appreciated. The bed was super comfy! We also called the front desk a few times to request for extra items and they were very efficient and polite about it. Although its a little towards a quieter area, Grabcar/food was still v accessible and response was always quick.
Towels had stains for 2 days so consider bringing an extra. Bugs and lizards were expected since its close to nature, however the staff were very quick and nice to catch the huge flying insect that were in our room.

Nice view from room.
Nice small area for relax near pool.
Small portion in breakfasts
No fresh juice but stuff says it is fresh squeezed (for breakfast).
Slow service for check out.
Need more directions notes on the way. A bit frustrated to find the place at the end of small roads.
Too much bright light at night on the ceiling.

Quietness. Relaxed environment. View.

Great and quite place to stay, not crowded hotel and a little bit away from the main street what we liked. Entering a peacefull and calm place to recharge and to spend a relaxing day at the pool. Kind and supporting staff, very helpfull.
Unfortunally we missed the Rice fields due to harvesting , but even without the ricefields still a lovely view to watch

The staff was really welcoming, professional, happy to help! View was nice ( however I’m not sure if the field in front of the hotel is still a rice field, doesn’t look like it now), breakfast was good, nothing special.
The place might need a bit maintanence but overall it was a good price-value ratio

The hotel is nice, breakfast was delicious, especially pancakes.
Staff is friendly and helpful
Spa and massage was below my expectations.
Location is far from the center, had to take a taxi.
Hotel provided taxi was twice more expensive as the grab rate.

✅ Friendly and helpful staff, always there to greet us, towel swans and welcome sheet for our honeymoon, fresh towels everyday, fresh water in the bathroom (in re-usable bottles but presumably still mineral water), clean and well-kept shared pool, beautiful views of rice fields, large fridge in room, quiet location
❎ Room needs a thorough clean, room smelt of damp, very thin walls between rooms with a joining door to the next room (this was locked but it sounded like we shared the room), would prefer to stay more central to Ubud next time

Great hotel, great staff, great location.
8.0
Friendly staff, spacious room with pantry, paddy field panorama, floating breakfast
Was expecting to have a bathtub but did not have it (it was stated in the room description, they probably have to revise it), pillow case had black stains, and the fridge made strange noises at night.

Breakfast was simple but good
Staff were able to accommodate to an earlier breakfast timing
Quiet location away from the central Ubud buzz
View wasn't of a rice padi field as shown in pics (maybe wrong season)
Limited facilities on-site

Beautiful tranquil retreat from the noisiness of Ubud. Friendly staff, and as it is a small boutique hotel, a family feel to it. The facilities were really good; my deluxe room was spacious, clean with a kitchenette included and a lovely bathroom. Also there was a glorious view onto the rice fields, and a lovely area where we could sit in the swimming pool area. The restaurant was by the front desk, and the food was good, though for dinner two of the nights I went to a very good restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. I had an excellent massage and there were books in a library area to read.
The challenge with this lovely hotel is the transport into Ubud or anywhere else in Bali. The hotel provides motorbikes and bicycles, but I didn't feel confident enough to try the motorbike on my own, and a bicycle is a little precarious in the face of the traffic into Ubud. There is a shuttle back and forth into Ubud once a day, but the only other option is taxi. I only stayed three nights, and if I have been staying longer I might have thought about hiring a car or just booking (via Booking.com or a local driver) regular taxis. If the hotel can find a better way to allow guests to be mobile I think this would be less frustrating for guests.

I've wanted to stay at Wadari for some time now but never managed to get around to it for one reason or another, but today I found the perfect opportunity to stay. I wish I had stayed here sooner!
Let's start with the rooms. I had a typical room on the second floor with balcony overlooking the fields. There are table and chairs on the balcony, just perfect to sit outside in the morning to enjoy with morning tea. It's quite beautiful.
The room is reasonably large with kitchenette and working area. It was very enjoyable for me to simply stay in the room working all day, occasionally taking a break from work to take a swim in the pool, which is actually long enough to have a proper swim in!
The owner Pak Made and his team have really paid attention to detail in creating rooms that are practical and comfortable. The staff are unbelievable friendly and I received one of the warmest most genuine welcomes I think I've ever had in Bali. The staff went out of their way to made my stay pleasant. Everyone is quite proud of Wadari and rightfully so!
The hotel is around a 7 minute motorbike ride to Central Ubud. It's actually closer than I thought and Its super easy if you have a bike. It's also right next door to RÜSTERS Coffee shop and restaurant, which is one of my favourite coffee places in Ubud and which I would also highly recommend if you don't feel like venturing too far.
Wadari is a great choice for anyone that likes a good standard of room, balcony views and superb hospitality at a very reasonable price.
I'm looking forward to my next trip to Ubud. I'll definitely be staying at Wadari.

Friendly owner (Mr. I Made Aryana) and staff, clean, quiet, peaceful, scenic, and far from the bustling environment. Room size was great and spacious. It overlooked a padi field and the villa designs gave lots of justice to Balinese culture. Highly recommend and I will return to this place when I revisit Bali.
Wifi was a little slow.

Wadari Resort is a beautiful and welcoming sanctuary, located close to Ubud while tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The staff made us feel welcome and like we were part of their family. The owner joined came and spoke with us during breakfast one morning and we got to learn about the origins of the resort, the challenges they've faced during and ongoing with COVID, and his values... he's kept all staff on despite having to close for two years after only being open one!! You can tell the staff love to be there and are proud of the accommodation and service they offer. All of the rooms and facilities including the pool are very clean, tidy, well maintained and excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and the balconies were genuinely private with wonderful views of the rice paddies and as far as My Batur. The food is beautifully prepared and delicious and the setting of the restaurant is intimate right on the paddies and next to the pool, so a lovely place to dine. The bamboo architecture makes it really special. We ate breakfast there every day of our five-night stay and dinner twice (were out and about the other nights). We highly recommend to others and will happily return ourselves. We would recommend hiring a scooter to make the most of what the region has on offer - we hired from Bali Motion - see my other review.

The hotel chef is exceptionally skilled. The food was excellent and the menu had a large variety of delicious dishes to try. Sometimes there were days with even more special foods to try which was amazing.
The hotel looks beautiful and the excellent location provides fantastic views of the rice terraces.
The staff were wonderful. Special thanks to Dita and Gede for being so attentive and welcoming to us. They even kept our luggage for us when we went on a short trip to Nusa Penida.
Sometimes during breakfast, we had the pleasure of speaking with the owner himself who invited us to hotel events such as Jazz night and Barbecue evening.
As the cherry on top, the hotel also has a fantastic spa which we absolutely loved.
We liked everything about our stay

We loved everything about the property:
- The staff were incredible, especially Dita who was was lovely
- The owner introduced himself and talked about his plans for the future, as well as how he handled COVID with the staff (which was amazing to hear that he kept them on during the tough times)
- The location is perfect for a quiet escape from Ubud centre; just 10 minutes on the motorbike for easy access to all the restaurants
- The resort itself is stunning; the pool, room, dining area and spa were all beautifully presented and well taken care of
- We would come back again in a heartbeat, with nothing to fault!
n/a - it was perfect all round
