Lovely breakfast. Great view.

Very clean, comfortable, very kind staff and delicious breakfast. The common area is excellent.

Clean, great space, nice staff and good breakfast. I usually don’t book places with shared spaces, but this one I would book again for sure.

We loved the setting - great views out to Patreksfjordur and the backyard terrace/lounge area with outdoor showers and BBQ. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was varied and delicious. There were ample large shared bathrooms (the bathroom to room ratio was great) and two kitchens for self-cooking. The staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Wouldn't change anything.

Comfortable room. Location has a great view of the fjord. Good price compared to other options in the area.

William the host was extremely helpful, breakfast waffles were a hit with everyone.

The staff were really friendly and there was free tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Whole place very clean and parking right outside. Great value.

so cozy and clean! coffee dispenser available and kitchen available. the option of outdoor shower is rather thrilling! the water is quite hot so it is ok! Paul is a great host too! He is so sweet!
not much attraction around as we also stuck with bad weather. however, amazed with the attractive location of the nearby petrol station. nearby supermarket not much variety like Bonus.

Location and the view was great, room was very clean and spaceioues, breakfast was very good and traditional for Iceland and the host was very welcoming and helpful.
Room door bit stiff to open and close but easy fix for the guesthouse.
4.7
The property is well laid out and felt like being at home. We loved the decor which was well curated and vintage. The host Paul was friendly and very helpful with knowledge of the town and local attractions around the area!
There was not anything we did not specifically like actually. Everything was exceptional and exceeded our expectations

Fantastic breakfast in an open, cheerful room. Lovely staff. Room was clean as was the shared bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.
We found our bed a bit small and pillows (like all over Iceland) lacking in comfort.
4.7
Excellent stay! The staff was fabulous, breakfast delicious, room was spacious, living area was comfy, the communal kitchen well appointed. I loved the outdoor shower. And the indoor shower/washroom was big and luxurious. Very nice!
As we were there in September, some restaurants in town were already closed. Eating out options were thin, but we cooked dinner in the kitchen at Stekkabol and it was still a great evening!

Manager was helpful. Breakfast was good. Outside patio was nice.
The room was a little small but otherwise fine.

Clean, cute decor, awesome breakfast!
Room next to the round can be a little noisy

HANDS DOWN my FAVORITE place we stayed at during our 11 day tour of Iceland. I thought having a shared bathroom was going to be challenging since this was the only one we booked with shared bathroom. this place had two houses and we were in the next door house. the whole house was just so homey and well decorated! I wish this was my place :) They have a nice patio where you can light the fire place, a heated shower outdoor AMAZING! Two common kitchen and plenty of bathrooms and showers to use! we were on the second floor next to the common kitchen and bathroom/shower. never had an issue with not being able ti use the bathroom. our room was HUGE and overlooking the water. so beautiful that i didn’t wanna leave! super comfy bed and the bathroom floor was heated! loved that! They also offered breakfast which was amazing! Paul was great! LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this place. not too far from here we were able to watch the most amazing show of the Northern Lights.
that we didn’t get to be there longer!

Very modern decor, stylish, and clean. Great breakfast in the morning (not sure why other reviews mention smoked salmon though). Nice outdoor area but we didn't use as weather wasn't great. Full kitchen if you want to cook

Breakfast was nice, great view, good rooms.
Unfortunately one toilet was broken, didn't have enough bathrooms for the whole place. BBQ quite dirty.
4.7
- cool Nordic design
- cleanliness
- not having a small sink in the bedroom
- bedroom facing building right in front (no view, no privacy)

Beautiful accommodations; exceptional service; great view (although it was overcast), and the breakfast buffet was awesome!

Everything was perfect. Very comfortable rooms and really clean shared bathroom. We almost thought we were alone. The breakfast was the best we had in our entire stay in Iceland and the view from the breakfast room was stunning. (The smoked salmon was exceptional, directly bred, fished, and smoked in the fjord)
The staff, especially, Emilio, the cook, was adorable !!

We loved the outdoor showers and the breakfast was amazing!
We were in a triple room - we could have used more hooks/hangers and outlets.
