Location, location! This one is right next to the opening gate of the national park! We stayed in the 2 bedroom “house” which was so big, and for such a relatively low price. Meanwhile, Roni manages the property so well; from an easy check in, to being attentive throughout. If you’re planning on going to the park - this is your place.

Loved that it was a sanctuary just steps away from the bustle outside by the park entrance.

Location was amazing! The hotel was right next to the Manuel Antonio national park entrance and the pool area was literally bordering the national park. We saw some animals in the hotel area (iguanas, frogs, monkeys and deers). Also the walk to the beach was max 5 minutes.
Shower water temperature was difficult to control. The Wifi signal was weak about half of the time (we stayed for 5 nights). The hotel staff was hard to reach a couple of times.

The room and property were extremely clean, every day the room would be very well cleaned, as a traveler that is very important. All of the staff, especially Rony, Aron went out of there way to make sure that I was well informed and happy. It was a pleasure to stay here, as its very close to the beach, surfing, the national park (right next door), and so many other places. Met many nice folks here during my travels too. I am def going to come back and stay here again!
Nothing not to like at all.

The location of the hostel was nice
The staff member who checked us in was unfriendly and there was a dance/rave party nearby that lasted until 5am (it was a Saturday) so we did not sleep. It also felt overpriced for what it was. Would not stay again.

The team of the hotel is extremely friendly and helpful!! All you need is there and it is situated next to the Parque and the beach is only a few minutes walking distance away! Perfecto!!

Location is literally next door to the national park entrance and 10 min walk to the beach, very spacious room, hot shower with good water pressure, friendly staff, there is a convenience store and some restaurants very close by, wifi and AC worked well.
The door curtain didn’t close all the way, you can hear insects/wildlife outside and what sounds like a dryer at night

The beds were comfy and clean.
It was bit expensive for what you get. But it's a great location if you are going to the national park.

I liked the garden a lot, so green and fresh. Hammock was appreciated in the front door. Room was big enough. Aircon and fan well working, fridge and TV too. super comfy shower, with real, constant pressure and hot water. Mosquito nets in the bathroom's windows. Beds were comfy enough and 2 pillows per person. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a few different choices, all good! coffee facility in the room! Staff was very helpful and flexible. hand sanitizer everywhere available for customers. The place needs some refurbishment but everything works well overall, it's a place where there is a lot of humidity, so all properties are similar and look worn out. I would stay again, comparing comfort, location, staff and price, with what Manuel Antonio area offers. Plus you are 100% in the national park. animals come to the garden, it's so fun
Even though the rooms are separated and not next to each other, there is a lot of noise at night, coming from aircon engines, fridges from the very close supermarket, from workers cleaning the street etc. Ear plugs are very recommended. Internet was very weak in the room, good in common areas. but I hope you don't need internet that much while there! Enjoy the rain forest, the beach, the animals

Excellent location, right next to the Park so animals, especially monkeys came swinging in from the trees. Lovely refreshing pool and great view from the balcony if you're in one of those rooms. Good breakfast. Staff really helpful. Good choice of nearby restaurants.
We spent the first night in the Jungle Suite but my husband was very unhappy here as he likes to sit outside the room and enjoy the view. However, this room is tucked away with no view at all. The wonderful staff were able to change our room after the first night to one with a great view from the balcony. We were so grateful!

This hotel is AMAZING! The staff is so kind, there are monkeys everywhere! It's in the most perfect location, a quick walk to the beach and literally right next door the entrance of the national park. Amazing.

It’s next to the entrance of Manuel Antonio NP, the staff was friendly, breakfast was okay
The room smelled really strange and everything was a bit outdated

Great staff, they listened and tried to help if they could. Breakfast was simple but filling. They found.me very good pricing on tours which were less than online.

loved the pool! sometimes we had it all to ourselves. great location next to the park and close to restaurants and shops. friendly staff and a delicious breakfast! great aircon. super comfy beds and pillows. great to have a fridge in the room too. we loved it there so much.
the shower was difficult to use and not that strong but it wasn’t a big issue.

The room was nice. The location was great if you are going to visit the park.
The location was nice to visit the park but not to stay. Too much people, vendors and noise. Not a great place to relax.

Very close to the national park, very kind and helpful staff although we checked in a little late.
Somehow only burning hot water came out of the bathroom sink in our room so it was very difficult for us to manage.

Ideal location, right next to the national park and all the beaches within a very short walking distance. Comfortable and air conditioned room. Fantastic traditional breakfast. All the staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property has a very pretty courtyard full of exotic plants and there is access to a lovely pool area.

Staff was wonderful. Took care of us when there was a problem. Helped us look for and find frogs at the edge if the property.
First room we were in had a moisture problem and a cockroach problem and hanging electrical wiring. Looked like it needed a remodel. Staff moved us and second room was wonderful and remodeled and clean and no bugs. I know we are the edge of a rainforest. They need more parking.

La Posada was an excellent place to stay for my first time visit in Costa Rica. The check in was smooth, the room was very clean and well kept. I was treated wonderfully by Rony from La Posada. He gave me guidance on where to visit while I was in Costa Rica and he made me feel at home. Rony is an amazing person! I vote Rony for President!!
