Worst hotel due to unprofessional owner… Be careful from the cleaner staff!

My personal experience was terrible. The newly renovated “Deluxe” rooms shown in the booking are different from the ones you get. Smaller room without the sofa.(photos used are 3d and not the reality. Much cheaper and unfinished rooms). Rooms are made out with gypsum and you can hear your neighbours clearly. Soundproofing is horrible… Room service hours are wrong! They came unexpectedly to my room at 18:00. I left all my staff open because Which professional hotel in the world clean the rooms after 3:30? (The details given to us were 8-14:30 btw)! I will attach a photo of the details given below. If not in the booking-trip advisor(you will find the details there) The cleaner stole from my wallet 100€( 2x €50) I immediately went to the reception (which btw the reception is the best thing in the hotel- they don’t deserve you guys)- they said they would speak to the owner. Next day we meet the owner which was the most arrogant, chatterer person I ever met in my life. He didn’t even take us seriously. I went to the police and i told them what happened so I met him twice saying the procedure will take longer for him to test his cleaner. He keep saying not to file a complaint against the hotel because the hotel didn’t do anything wrong which btw is not giving the correct details( he also said that the reception informed us but the hours mention from the reception was the ones written on the paper which i will attach). And he kept saying that if i file a complaint it should be on the cleaner and not the hotel. - doesn’t even care of what will happen to his trustworthy cleaner now?! I could say even more-but trust me… this is a real personal experience happened to me between the 7-14 of August 2023. I would never ever recommend this hotel to anyone. So unprofessional with the most unprofessional “owner”! I hope you don’t experience what I did these days.

Friendly stuff, central location, clean, nice breakfast

There were many broken things like the fridge drawer, the toilet seat and the towel rail (they can be fixed very easily)

Close to the beach, 7 mnts walking It’s an acceptable 2 stars hotel Clean, fair and not expensive

No water to shower on the first night !

Overall enjoyable and would visit again

Great selection of breakfast products including hot & cold selection of meats and fruit and varying breads and jams. Coffee was good also

Shower room was small and awkward to get in and out of and we are a small framed couple. Large people would struggle

Exceptional

There were wildfires taking place during my stay ant I was evacuated from Masari village. Luckily I was able to find accommodation in Astron hotel, where people working there showed immense care and support. Couldn’t have imagined such compassion. I’m extremely grateful for kindness, especially for heartfelt Emine, who was there when I needed help.

Very good

Breakfast is fairly basic, but a reasonable variety. Standard for this class of Hotel in Rhodes. Staff were lovely. We liked the size of the room, and the balcony was fine for our purposes. The area and surroundings were quiet, and very accessible to everything we needed.

Pleasant

Nice hotel, good central location, charming staff, okay breakfast (could do with a few more options).

Bed was a bit on the uncomfortable side, the shower/bathroom was poor (too small and the curtain didn't work properly = very wet floor and bathmat), and the balcony was minuscule to put it generously - you could hardly move on it.

A comfortable stay with very helpful pleasant staff.

Breakfast was awesome!! Staff very helpful and friendly despite language difficulties. Reception being open 24 hrs. was really helpful if you had any questions or requests late at night or very early before breakfast. The location of the hotel was close to everything, i.e., beaches, port, sightseeing spots and just a 10 minute walk from the old city. Couldn't have picked a better hotel for amenities and comfort in my budget range.

Bathroom shower a little on the small side but adequate.

Passable

Hotel on tree-lined street close to Niohori. The lobby and balcony were nicely decorated, but that’s where it ended! The rooms, while spacious, were old and tired, in need of updating. The bathroom was the size of a small cupboard, so a bit difficult to manoeuvre, without the door banging into the handbasin, and as is the norm in many Greek hotels, flooded every time the shower was used. Breakfast was ok, but would have preferred freshly squeezed oj, instead of from a carton.

Great hotel with charming staff.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool was an added bonus. Located within walking distance of the old town and wonderful restaurants.

Cleaning Location

Very old rooms, no maintenance at all, shower is for kids not for adults. The entrance is renovated and looks nice but the rooms are 20 years old. Breakfast was empty at 10:40 but it was untill 11:00, not refilled. Second day we went early was super full with all the options but could have better quality of products, but still was ok for 3 star hotel I guess.

Would definately use this hotel again if I am passing through Rhodes town.

Great hotel in central location. Staff were fantastic, they all were cheerful and helpful. Good breakfast, plenty of it and the choice of food was excellent.

Bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but I understand there are plans to improve bathrooms over the low season.

Beds was comfortable. Staff was good. Breakfast good.

Tv was not working. Shower was very small. To lock the door you have to take card from slot and try to do it in the dark. I couldn’t connect to wi fi. No refill of coffee. Pool was not working.

Vacation in Rhodes

- nice staff - good location - very good breakfast - big room - big terrace - cleaning was done daily

- small bathroom - the drain of the bath was above the level of the screed and no water drained after the shower - if you rent a car it is hard to park near the hotel, but we parked in the port ( aprox 500m away)
